Thanks for another great video. I love the layout maps of the airports. Where can I find some of those? I collect model planes and would like to build El Salvador. I think the name is SAL. I'm new to it so still learning how to draw in scale. In your landing videos you also bring up a different approach map. I have no idea what I'm looking at so I just watch you land.
I’ll explain approach plates in an upcoming video so hopefully they’ll make more sense :) I’m sure if you look online you can find airport charts. 😊
@@FromTheCaptainsSeat Oh that's so cool. Thanks for all the help.
I'm glad I'm not a bug, so I can look forward to the next video😅 interesting as always !
👍 Very interesting!
Thank you for sharing.😊
Very nice. What aircraft?
767-300
hace dos meses me vine a Miami, y fue impactante ver tanta belleza desde el aire, y las vistas en el aterrizaje maravillosas.
hi i just stumbled across your channel and love it maay i ask what plane and airline u fly for?
I fly a 767-300 😊
@@FromTheCaptainsSeat thanks
I watch U TUBE to learn and enjoy all kinds of different things ,and this is THE most interesting and enjoyable post I have seen ,Thank You Sir very much for doing this, You are special.🇨🇦
Thank you so much and thank you for watching!
That's a very scenic approach! What plane is that your flying?
767-300
I liked seeing how the sunset turned into afternoon when you took off from Miami to Bogota. It was really beautiful to see. Greetings from Colombia! 😉
Fantastic landing and video. I am very lucky this video appeared when I opened my UA-cam channel. I am a new subscriber from Colombia.
Thank you for watching and subscribing!! I have a few video of landing and taking off from Bogota 😊 🇨🇴
What is the music? It's very peaceful and suits the video.
Thank you! The artist’s name is Ström. 😊
@@FromTheCaptainsSeat Track name? By the by, what type are you flying?
It fascinates me how pilots fly thousands of miles and end up exactly over the runway
Hey Captain, thanks for bringing back fond memories. However I never got 05 into YYZ...don't know why...always the reciprocal direction....also thanks for putting up approach plate, helped figuring out what the heck is was going on....
Wow. So calming and good music. Never seen that meter(indicator) thank you.
Hi can pilots choose routes? 14:20
Great question! It depends on the airline and their scheduling rules but normally yes, pilots choose their schedules based on seniority. The more senior the pilot the more choices they have. Unfortunately, lower seniority pilots don’t have the luxury of choosing their schedules.
Magic
Great as always. Very informative and fantastic pictures. I watched the video twice in a row, and not for the last time !😊
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Beautiful music
Another beautiful video from my favorite UA-camr 💙 I hope I get to fly on one of your planes one day.
I would rather not fly on his/her aircraft. Simply, the operation of multiple devices, would create distraction in the cockpit. I would rather the Captain know low vis limits, crosswind limits, manage ATC threats, and be prepared for the high/fast tight vectoring that YYZ ATC is famous for…. I don’t think he has thought through the ramifications of filming operations on these devices. If there is an accident or incident, how will he control distribution of the video? Does the file automatically uplink to the cloud? A smart lawyer can and will investigate then subpoena any digital recording, effectively bypassing all legislated CVR/DFDR protection. How will it look if you delete the file? Did you ask your FO if they are OK with creating a file that potentially could bypass CVR/DFDR privacy? Did you consider that even asking permission to record creates a CRM power gradient that could be detrimental to the flight? Are you sharing any revenue from this video with the FO? It’s clear this is an Air Canada flight…I wonder if the passengers on board this aircraft would approve of the distraction, although, they potentially could be grateful that the ego of a Captain could provide evidence in a liability tort.
Another excellent video…a beautiful night for flying and lots of good info about Toronto. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Great video. Thank you for all the information.
Thank you for watching!!! 😊
Another beautiful night, Cap. I like the city "information tidbits" you put in the vid. Thanks for the post.
Exelente video, la música pésima, eso quedaría mejor para un submarino o algo así. Mi país es hermoso y alegre no lúgubre y triste...😢
🤣
Back in the 60's, me and my kid friend would ride our bikes on the runway until the guards ran us off. They never did catch us. The good old days.
Now Im Sleepy
We used to do quarter mile races starting at the white building at 9:42, going east, before they extended the runway west of 72 Ave in the late 70's.
Native Miamian here and your wonderful video brings back so many memories of sitting along the runways and watching planes land with my dad so long ago at MIA. He worked for Pan Am....to this day I am amazed when I see these planes land. Thanks for your insight!!
Thank you for watching 😊

Enjoyed the landing. I live in Miami in fact you flew by my work. Just after the turnpike you have the Dolphin Mall then to the right you see a building with a green roof. That's the Miami office of the FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement). Across you have the Florida Highway Patrol Troop E station and the Florida Department of Transportation buildings in the same complex. I work for the state. I always sit outside by the lake on my lunch breaks and watch the planes land. When I leave on vacations, I always sit on the right side window seats of the plane to video me passing over work and text it to my co-workers but to my luck, every time I fly in to MIA, we land from the east and the last flight we landed from the west it was at night and could not see anything because it was raining and we flew threw a rain cloud. It is good to watch this video and identify landmarks. Thanks again for the video.
I love it!! Thanks for sharing!!
every video just gets better and better... so many unanswered questions - finally answered! Thank you from Canada!
Thank you for watching!! 😊
This is an A to Z aviation know-how under-rated channel in YT that sharing its knowledge without hesitation. We need to keep this kind of channel alive so we also could learn. Let's subscribe it's free!! 👍🙂
Thank you SO much!! Spread the word!!! 😊
hard to relax when you have to read through the video
🤣 I find reading to be quite challenging too!!
Very nice!!!
Would have been cool to hear the ATC. I am pretty sure Anchorage, Louisville and Memphis handle more freight.
ATC is sometimes cool to hear! And you’re absolutely right. Those airports definitely move a lot of freight, but as I mentioned… Miami is “a top US airport” (not the top) for cargo. Thanks for watching 😊
Very nice, what aircraft and airline ??
Boeing 767-300
Beautiful video.
Thank you very much! 😊
Nicely done! Great vid!
Thank you for watching 😊
Great vid! Could instantly make out Tamiami Canal running west across the state, as well as many of the roads and highways. Cocoplum must love all the jet traffic flying overhead. Takeoffs eastbound and flying over downtown are spectacular and a little scary with all the high rise buildings. Thanks again!!
Thank you for watching 😊
Butter. Perfect landing

Love this! +1
Thank you for watching 😊
Miami -FL is the best city in the United States because of its great international cuisines. Without it, it wouldn’t survive & would be as boring as many corporate plain cities in the US (USA has no attractive cuisine, at all).
Agree with most, but America’s perfected Bar-B-Que like no one else…
If there is a great Rainy season, mainly in June, the chance for a hurricane decreases and not to forget the Sahara Dust (hyped on the local news as if it’s terrible)also works well to decrease the chance for a bad hurricane season.
Beautiful videography, and pleasant music in this video. Written narration was quite interesting, thank you for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching! 😊
Wow. Amazing. Thank you for sharing
Thank you very much for sharing! Plane and classic musik! What would be better? The best channel ever!!!
Great video! What is up with the cracks on the dash? Great video!!!!
Old plane 🤣
@@FromTheCaptainsSeat Well answered. Thanks
Simply beautiful simply beautiful.
Oh I really liked that. I've been to Miami a lot. I hope you get to land at Tampa International Airport some day. That's my local airport. I'm always happy to see Florida in videos.
Wow, imagine if you had to do all these checks on your car before pulling out of your driveway!
