Rascal Flatts Uses IcyBreeze On Stage
Just so you know, you can only fit 2 blocks in at a time. Once you fill up with water and freeze, the jugs will swell up which makes it impossible to fit 3 of them in.
Thank you for the wonderful explanations on how it works! I travel with my dog all over this country and it gives me peace of mind to have it if I need it to keep him cool if I have to run in somewhere. Plus one night while jeep camping it ran long enough in the extreme heat for us to both get to sleep until the night cooled things off. Fantastic product and I love supporting USA built products. Thank You!
I had to leave my dog in the car in severe heat while I got my elderly mom at her gate at an airport. It worked very well. I was very glad I practiced at home before putting it into practice with my dogs life at stake. It's a nice cooler too.
Considering this but by splitting the airflow is it noticeable pressure loss?
Why not use Dry Ice?
Not impressed
Thank your for what you are doing. God bless. I will be buying this for my car with no AC. You guys are lifesavers.
Can you use this in a car?
No dc charger?
Any alternative wall chargers that can use ,because ice breeze didn't ship me no power cords. I need the 110-220v wall charger.
I have a few questions. I have the V2 Pro. The remote and power ports are right on top. Are they susceptible to water or sand? Also, the remote and power plug are the same. If you were to accidentally plug the power plug into the remote port, would it be damaged? Seems like it would be easy to make that mistake.
So where are these? They're not on your website
Why did you stop selling the IcyBlocks?
ice is like $7 a bag lol
Fill it up with icecand water then throw it in water again
how full do you fill the icy block?? all the way or leave room for expanding?
Just got mine Saturday and came here to learn set up! thanks!
If my internal battery is dead on the v1 unit, is it still possible to get a replacement battery anywhere?
Just to make people aware. This is not an AC. It's known as a redneck AC. Great for someone with a constant supply of ice. Ryobi made one of these years ago. And as the name implies, rednecks have been making them even longer. There's no way in hell I would pay over 300$ for a glorified cooler. But to each is own. You can make one of these fairly easily and for very cheap.
that's cool, I never realized it's an ac and not a swamp cooler, awesome!
I don't know if IcyBreeze will see this, but one recommendation I have is to extend the water return line to the opposite end of the cooler, from the inlet port. Currently, they are so close together, that depending on what's going on with the ice, the water might not have time to cool completely before getting sucked back in.
Good idea. In the meantime you could buy flexible tubing and extend the suction side OEM tubing. One concern would be can the OEM pump of the cooler overcome the head loss of the added tubing by owner?
Today is supposedly that last day for the free 10AH battery that they are offering with the IcyBreeze. If you are on the fence, pull the trigger, because if you are interested in the battery, I can't think of a better deal.
This is a great product, but it does melt ice quickly. There are ways to extend the life of the ice, though. Know its limitations, and enjoy what it offers. If someone is interested in one, now is a great time to take the plunge. They are offering a free 10AH battery and charger when you purchase now. They have a limited time offer, and I have no idea how long they plan on running it. I wanted the battery, but I didn't want to pay $100 for it, and when I saw the offer, I jumped on it. I even used a code that honey got me for free shipping.
Great idea!!! I have a few ideas that would make things more effective. 👍🏾✅️
I love mine for my golf cart but the ice melts really fast. I have a 9 hole golf course at my campground here in Michigan and last weekend was the first time I used it. We have a general store and I had to keep buying ice but other than that it works really well. I even tried adding big blocks of ice that I froze in the freezer and that seems to last a little longer cuz it doesn’t melt as fast as cubes but still melted pretty fast.
so if you had 3 of these in one, would they last a whole weekend assuming you are only running it overnight? with bag ice I need to get new ice daily in order to make sure I can get one nights use out of it.
Durable with Life time warranty! I'm buying
What does the flashing yellow square mesn?
So, using this in a car, you have to be very near that hose to get cool? If it is blowing as cold as air as you say while using the hot air in a car, you'd think it would cool the car down but you said it doesn't.
Why maintain a UA-cam page if you're going to ignore it? When researching a product, I always read the comments. When someone asks a question and the company gives no response, I end my research right there and walk away. Obviously you do not care about your potential customers if you can't be bothered to answer questions.
Does that charger cable double to also connect the cooler directly to a wall outlet?
So the water won’t damage the charging ports? Just double checking.
This is not an AC unit. Run out of ice. Can this even cool down the inside of a passenger car?
@icybreeze9227 My freezer space is limited and I can't find the dimensions on the Icy Block anywhere.
I just got mine today. The icy blocks are 11" x 9" X 2"
I bought one yesterday and shipping it home to Barbados.. I own HVAC COMPANY there
You can't get alot of sells if you don't answer questions!!!
Why would you need to plug it up to your car if your car has A/C???
For running outside of your car, like in a camping tent.
I use it to keep my dog cool and safe in the vehicle if I have to run in a store. And we use it camping to cool our tent down.
I’m looking to pick one of these up for summer camping in central Florida . Was looking to keep it in the bed if my Jeep and run the vent to my rooftop tent it will be kept in the shade under my tent and rack so it is cooler then being on the ground . I’m saying all of this because it would be to big to fit inside of my tent could possibly put it in my annex .
I love using it with my Jeep! Happy Camping!
