Hello, do we have a chance to cooperate with you this year? About Smart Irrigation Controller
I would recommend grandpa weeder tools to get rid of creepy charles grass. The tool is also good for creeping charles that try to enter your house too.Good for home defense

Bum has your wife left you yet?
Loser
Just bought and used it today. Keeping my fingers crossed. 🤞🏽
@@EliLeeDesigns you’ll notice it taking effect in a few days. With crabgrass and creeping Charlie, a reapplication is most likely necessary. Clover doesn’t stand a chance. Happy mowing.
Nobody cares
Boring
so how long should we wait before we let our pets back on the grass after spraying???
You just need to wait until it’s dry. That being said, please always read the instructions on any product before application and follow those specific recommendations.
I’ll send you a bill for the view since you paid for views on this video. ☠️

This cool music to go grab fertilizer lmao ☠️
Baby shampoo will do the same thing for literally pennies per yard.
it is beginning of September I want kill my weeds which a lot of . After I spray going plug then thatch it . When good time to do that? should I wait until weed dies off? Then how long should I wait for seeding it? Is it safe around a well? How far away from the well?
@@allenletizia321 if you’re in a cool climate environment, now the time to grow grass. The best way to get rid of weed, is to grow grass. That being said, you cannot put down this product and grow grass seed it in. Just focus on growing new grass, that will help overtake the weeds. Next year you can worry about killing what pops up. Never waste your growth period killing weeds
Wait, what? Wearing shorts without mask and gloves, I thought this type of herbicide was toxic !?
@@tanyc4976 good question. Spraying on days with low/no wind is important. Also, this product is diluted with water. When mixing tenacity or products like that, yeah, gloves and boots are used.
Golf courses and athletic fields don’t collect the clippings. The only exception is a putting grain and that’s so the ball will roll better
Hey bro. I have a question for you, but can't find your email? Can you email me (its on my channel page) or add an email to somewhere? If I post my email in this comment it wont go through.
If there were earthworms in the soil they would eat the old grass, but the older generation way of having grass is just to spend alot of time and money and chemicals on the lawn. I don't have a lawn, I do wait to long to cut my acreage, but I just cut the grass a couple of times to break it down, earthworms come up and eat the grass clippings. But for the Aesthetic chemical based lawns, I guess that's not desirable.
Dustbin for few leaves and sticks is brilliant, who would have thought to do that. Great idea.
@@knh5954 it’s such a great tool. It rained last night, and there’s are sticks and leaves and they’ll all be gone in 10 easy minutes. Happy mowing!
I have that weed puller love it
I have a question. I sprayed my lawn with ortho to kill off clover and I swear it made it greener and come out more. What am I doing wrong
Now I have actually heard that mulching doesn’t lead to thatch. The Scott’s website even says this. I’ve also heard that it does cause thatch. Would be nice to get a concrete answer on this age old debate! I do bag everything though, I think it looks better.
depends on how many times a week that study says. If you mow once every 2 weeks and then cut low, I bet youd have alot of thatch vs every 3 days
Why not just use baby shampoo instead ?
Will it for sure ?have you used baby shampoo ?
Good video, but can you specify which lawn type those products are good for? I assume (since you have the state of Minnesota shape on your hat) that you are speaking about a cool season grass lawn. How would those products work on warm season grasses (Zoysia, Bermuda, St. Augustine, etc.)?
@@EliotAnders good question, they will have a similar effect. But you’ll also need to do it during your maintenance season. This product should not be used during your growth season.
Sir do you do grub control videos for cool season grass?
@@mansajose5226 good question. I fortunately have never had grubs, but if I do, I would Make a video. That being said, they are staring to hatch in July. I do know that to be effective with any grub control product, you have to kill then when they are young and it’s not easy to do in August and September when they are grown. I would look at what grub control products you can get locally, get them down in the next 10 days and follow the instructions. Good luck!
It’s the grass is really high I raise the deck and cut with side discharge. Then I get my backpack blower and blow the clippings in a pile and get a garbage can with liner and bag them.
Yes weed b gone is the bomb on creeping Charlie
Break out the sand next season to level. It took a couple of years to get my dad's concrete flat with a 3% slope for drainage. Once it takes root. Zero weeds. Looks great.
You are correct. I started bagging this year but I have been mulching for 2 years the thatch go to heavy and my turf was not greener this spring. I searched around my yard and was surprised to dig out to much thatch. Now my yard can breathe and get the nutrients I have been spreading on the turf. To much is not good. I like the way my yard looks now also.
Happy mowing Alan
Forget it. I have a 12000 sq ft property do you expected me to try to remove crab grass and creeping Charlie by hand. Forget it I know what to. There is no crab grass or creeping Charlie in my yard this summer. I worked on it all yr.
I agree with u 100% i am also a clippings bagger myself for the exact same reasons. One additional point is that even when we bag we are not getting one hundred percent of the clippings anyway so we are still putting at least some nutrients back into the lawn.
Yeah, I also spoon feed all my nutrients and I will mulch leaves in the fall as I have many large trees and it’s a daily battle at that point.
Excellent video, I'm sure this will be beneficial to many homeowners! Most forms of fungus can develop a resistance to continual use of the same fungicide. To effectively prevent and treat fungus, employing a diverse range of fungicides with various active ingredients is highly recommended. In my region, we encounter a significant fusarium problem year after year, and it's evident that many fungicides have become less effective over time. One cost-effective method to prevent diseases is by integrating EM1 (100% Organic ) into your foliar applications. Since utilizing EM1, I have witnessed a substantial reduction in disease issues.
Great feedback!
exactly 👍🏻
4) I like walking in my yard barefoot and not bringing grass clippings into my house.
Thanks for the video. It’s amazing how quickly fungus can creep into the yard.
I hope it helps!
This is so interesting! Thanks for the tips!!
So what is the difference between it's raining in the late evening and watering your lawn? It rains quite often here during the late evening and night with no issues to my Bermuda.
Personally, I find it ridiculous when people bag( put it on the curb to be picked up) and then spread compost. You are basically paying someone to compost your clippings. Just let your lawn do it.
Another Minnesota guy! I've been enjoying your content. Awesome to see the good start you're off to on UA-cam!
Thanks for the feedback. I just subbed to you, I’ll check out your channel for sure. Let’s hope the rain stays away this week!
I don’t bag when the grass is thriving in the spring only. Note I do use preventatives during.
My father the one of the best if not the best lawn in the neighborhood. He always bagged. He was adamant that it helped with the prevention of weeds and disease.
Can you use ortho sprayer
If you’re talking about the ortho dial and spray, that would be hard as it’s not very big. But any sprayer will work. I used hand pump ones in the past on my old, smaller yard.
I bag every cut aa well. I agree with your reasoning.
Bag early spring/summer. Raise the deck and mulch mid summer when grass growth slows. Go back to bagging late summer/early fall provided normal growth has resumed.
What pull behind STRIPING kit is on your mower in video ? Thanks
It’s a Checkmate striping kit. You can find it easily, in several sizes from several retailers. It’s been on the mower six years, I never had an issue and I’ll have it for a long time.
@@GetonmylawnMN Thank you !!!! I have multiple transitions which are impossible to avoid from grass to concrete driveway ect ….. Do you think it’s durable enough since it’s a free floating design ?
@@christfollower1768 I do. I often drive on my driveway or the street with it. You should be good.
I mower my front yard every 3 days so I have little to no clippings
Clippings to not become thatch
If you have irrigation you want to mulch your clippings. Its an extra fertilizer app. Decomposition is faster with irrigation. If you can make your own compost using ground up leaves and grass clippings you can top dress your lawn and have some of the fluffiest lawns around! What are you doing with all those clippings?
Yeah, good question. I give a lot to my neighbor. But I also do additional soil amendments.
Bagger here. Same thoughts as you Sir! 👍
Happy mowing.
