Great to see you young guy :)
As someone who was born blind, I couldn’t agree more with everything she said about not making assumptions about disabilities. This is a wonderful human being! I would love to connect.
Legend. Britain's Jeff Porcaro.
Love Steve Ferrone with the heartbreakers, so perfect.
One of the greats
Luv Ja Steve. U incredible and your gigs with Slow Hand ,Ray Cooper send shivers down my spine. God Bless Ja🤗
Is that the “Dirty Harry” theme?
Love it at the end there, “how’s that?” F$&kin perfect is how that is. What a groove.
greatest funkiest drummer to ever live
“Learn to play with others,or stay at home and play with yourself...” -Steve Ferrone
Steve is one of those rare drummers who can funk up a storm with the likes of AWB, and then hit hard and solid as a rock, as he did with Tom Petty. If you ask me, he's one of the greats! :)
Damn! Steve's groove is so unique! 5 seconds in I was smiling in amazement :)
My favorite drummer for sure
Awesome Steve! 👍🥁👍DC
I first heard Steve Ferrone play on the AWB live album and was hooked. He can flat out play!!!

The first time I heard SF playing was the intro to 'Beginning Again' of the Brian Auger's Oblivion Express album 'Straight Ahead' in 1974. The kick and snare work blew me away: ua-cam.com/video/7KhCHPnqspE/v-deo.html
First time I saw steve was 3 feet in front his bass drum ,with Brian Augers Oblivion Express . @ NY’s Bitter End “74 . He blew my mind . Been a huge fan ever since . What a groove !!!
What a talented musician. Sennheiser MD321s on a 50s Broadkaster. Holy hell. Talk about legendary sound.
Unassuming legend
Love Steve Ferrone...
This was FANTASTIC! Thank you for this! Love Steve and his playing and could listen to him talk and play for hours!!

I think Steve is a drummer who hates drum solos as much as I do.

@@steveferrone8687 Hey Steve- You’re the best! Period, end of story. I watched the new TP (Happy birthday and miss ya man) film last night here in Vegas. It was fantastic and you are aging gracefully my friend. Looking good dude! My wife is a Scouser, so you might say I’m partial to Brits- ha Keep on rocking Steve and hope to come see you and check you out here in Vegas on any of your next gigs!!! Love to hear from you again when you get to Las Vegas- Your friend, Brian in LV

Thanks NobleFilms via Steve Ferrone 🎵 💖🎼 -⊰✿¸.•'**☆ ╰⊰✿
Had the pleasure of meeting him in LA at NAMM . I first learned of Steve Ferrone when he was with my favorite band of all time, AWB..❤️❤️🎵🎵🎵
If drummers could play with this mans feel or groove, they would never have the urge to play chops again...Steve,Porcaro,Tony Thompson,Matt Chamberlain and a few more i'm forgetting have the ability to play it,lay down time, and set it off...All about groove...
i'm not a lake! 😭
Sooo good!😎🤘🙏

i go to horizon high school everyday since my beginning of my high school career that school is my heart forever
What a terrific drummer. I saw him play with AWB in 1977 at the Lyceum Ballroom London. He was sooo tight and funky I just will never forget that performance. I also felt depressed though as I wanted to be that good too! ..LOL
the guy just plain out rocks no matter what he is playing .. love his playing..

pocket! Sometimes you can learn much more from drummers like him than those chops guys.
skyreader society true said! I love Dave Weckl and Vinnie but my real heroes are the great pocket guys!
Dave Weckl and Vinnie Colaiuta have both a pristine pocket feel, you'll hear it a bit better when they work on other peoples records where they hold themselves a little bit back. I definately didn't mean them (and lots of other worldclass drummers - you know them). It was more on this youtube drum circus thing happening ... which might be totally misleading when it comes to the right focus in pratice.
Your about 2 years behind
The DBS braces you wore for CMT, I noticed you no longer wear them is there a reason to that?
Abbey...Because of your rendition of "For Good" on the '09 telethon....I just saw Wicked , last night for the third time since 2009...I loved your song and took my wife to see WICKED on Dec. 19, 2009 & she loved it.....She passed away unexpectedly 9 days later....Ever since... FOR GOOD has had a special meaning to me...I always said if Wicked ever came back, I would go see it and I have every time it has been in town....thank you again....
Nah, these folks aren't moving anywhere. Most won't help themselves, and they don't want someone telling them what to do (aka, they won't do the job an employer wants them to do), so they won't go until they are forced out. The recent patrols by the OC Sheriff with social services got only 150 persons out of the 1,000 living there to accept some aid to get out of this hell hole, so why should the county/cities supply them with free water, sanitation, legal services, and other services when they choose to live in an area not approved for housing (its a river levee)? the endpoint is coming, they will eventually be moved out of there.
Amazing job Josh!!!
omg YOUR MY FAVORITE! WAS THAT AN ALEXIA?????
