What I cannot wrap my head around is if there is a pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet, the outlet will transport more gas if the diameter of the pipeline is the same. So the input cannot keep up with the output, how is this solved?

Put some coccidia stat in her water. That could possibly be it but would it probably is that she was recently weaned and her first two stomachs are not developed yet and so she’s eating grass hay and she cannot get the nutrients out of it so she needs some green until those first two stomachs get better developed because the green will digest easier for her.
