Yes, I would recommend reading the instructions thoroughly BEFORE starting a build like this. When I realized 1/2 way through putting the backing on that it was upside down, I was so upset. It all worked out in the end, but it just took longer.

Yes, that would be cool. Maybe with the Safeopedia branding on it!!!??? Usually when I do blooper reels, I have a slide I use on screen with a beep sound in-between each blooper. But someone commented that they thought that was annoying. So I changed my blooper reels based on their comment.

Now you know that the front of the desk has a half-moon crescent (so you can scoot closer to the desk). Do you want me to measure from the center of that to the edge of the crossbar underneath or from the flat edge to the crossbar???

@@rsm307studios If you don't mind, the dimensions I'd like to know are: distance from the crossbar to the front edge of the desk at its widest point (off-center, I want to mount a laptop underneath). Also, the total width of the desk at its center point (front to back). Many thanks!

@@c.s.herman860 From the crossbar underneath to the farthest point at the front of the desk is 16-1/2". For the second question, I am thinking you meant depth (not width) from the back of the desk to the farthest point on the front and that is 30". If you wanted width the desk is 60" wide. If you wanted depth from the center to the back of the desk it is roughly 26-1/2". I had to guess b/c my dual-arm monitor base is at the center.

@@rsm307studios Excellent! Yes I meant depth, thnx. I think this desk should work fine for what I am invisioning. How is it holding up for you so far? Do you know what the weight capacity is? Also, how's the 'collision-detection' feature?

@@c.s.herman860 I love it as it has served as my main battlestation for the last two years. The weight capacity is 350 lbs. As far as the "collision-detection" feature, I don't know if mine has it. When I first set it up, I set it away from the wall to ensure at the settings I programmed it, the dual-monitor stand would not run into my trophy shelf that sits above it. Once I determined the highest height I would want to stand at and it wasn't going to hit the trophy case, I slid it back to the wall. I cannot say enough good things about this desk and I am glad I shelled out a little more money for this one as I love the crescent shape.

Yes, as you will see in the next YT shorts, I discuss this. The disconnect in our house is next to the water heater but it was frozen. So I called a friend who I work with from the City's Water Division and he came and turned off the main in our yard. Then we broke free the water shutoff in the house and were able to turn it off. Then we started our work.
