I used QA1-7HT450 which is a 450lb spring. There's a lot of calculations that go into picking the right spring, angle of set back, unsprung weight, vehicle weight etc. Make sure you're using a good online calculator to figure out what fits your needs best

VCT solenoids is usually more of a stumble at idle, and lacking throttle response. I guess if they were really bad it could lead to stalling, but not as likely. You could also have a broken IMRC in the intake manifold

That is absolutely an option. You can pull the rolled pin out of the switch that holds the paddle onto the switch. It won't be perfect, but at least you won't have the big paddles

My stock intake started to leak at a few of the bosses on top and side so bought a Dorman clone off eBay for $110 shipped and going to try that this next week. Tossing lean codes both banks due to leaks on intake.

Yea no issues with the rings, she makes power just fine

Light acceleration, throttle lift, and then it rattles. Normal operation of the DI pump dead heading pressure. Rattle during steady light throttle could be a little bit of pinging, more typical in hot ambient temps

Quick question, do these bolts need to be torqued to a certain pressure or can I just tighten as tight as possible?

I did not torque to a specific value, just tight

You can kinda get a feel for how tight they are when you take them off

@ It’s only on the automatic trucks as far as I know. My truck was built at oakville up in Canada not sure if that’s the only plant that put those Easter eggs in the trucks but never seen it on the older trucks mine was one of the last 03 models to roll off the assembly line in 03 before they started producing only single cab tenth gen’s in 04. So that could be why my truck has that little Easter egg.

I appreciate terminators, I "grew up" with them, just got overwhelmed by how much was there, and tried to balance my own enjoyment and conversations at the show

@ so you pretty much have to but connect new pigtail correct from Harley

The foglights come with the little jumper harness on them. You could cut/hardwire if you wanted to....

Did you atleast get to see Fiddy? I've watched several other videos and there are multiple cars/trucks I don't remember seeing at all. Kinda overwhelming how big the show has gotten!

@Patman03sprcrw fen fab v1 intake, hot and cold side piping, catless downpipes, thermal 3in exhaust, 93 zfg racing tune, and all the parts to make it hook in the rear end. It's a fun sleeper not many people know about them.

@@Patman03sprcrw been super busy so haven't been able to full 1/4 on the dragy. but with a small boosted launch it did a 4.35 60 foot. Its only on revision 1 of the tune aswell

I've had zero issues from either engine/transmission combo that have been in my truck. original 4.6 was reliable up through 104k miles when it was removed. No issues with the 4.6, just severely under powered and I have put about 5000 miles on the swap ,no issues with the new powertrain either
