Samsung HE Error Dryer Fix
In this video I will be diagnosing and repairing a Samsung Dryer Model DV42H5200EP/A3
This Dryer was experiencing an HE error. Upon initial diagnoses the Dryer would beep with the HE error code and would be extremely hot as if the heating element was not turning off.
The Dryer will need to be disassembled for proper diagnosis and cleaning.
Upon getting it apart the element housing with sensors passed its ohms test. Filament appeared to be intact. Upon eliminating that as the culprit it is believed the issue to be with the Thermistor sensor. However, if you change this sensor and it still exhibits issues. You want to change the control board within is really easy to get to.
Some for the peace of mind will order the Heating element housing, thermistor and replace them while the machine is broken down and if that fails will then choose to replace the control board.
This dryer was repaired with a new Thermistor and control board.

    Your video cut out when attaching the main horizontal stabilizing bar to the hitch receiving T bar, and I didn't get to see if the 2 bolts let you adjust how far the horizontal stabilizer bar went in (closer to the tail gate). I would like to see the hoist be able to safely reach the truck bed center for the bulky items rather than so close to the truck bedside wall.

    I accidentally pull the lid of that drain hose and the whole hose went down inside the machine, how can I take it out?

    • @dissectingdiy
      @dissectingdiy 27 днів тому

      To retrieve the drain hose that has slipped inside your Samsung front-load washer, you'll need to access the inside of the machine. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you: ### Tools Needed: - Screwdriver (Phillips or flathead, depending on your washer's screws) - Pliers - Towels or a small bucket (to catch any water that may spill) ### Steps: 1. **Unplug the Washer**: - Safety first. Ensure the washer is unplugged from the power outlet. 2. **Turn Off the Water Supply**: - Turn off the water supply to the washer to prevent any leaks. 3. **Access the Bottom Panel**: - Most Samsung front-load washers have an access panel at the bottom front of the machine. This is usually where the filter and drain hose are located. - Use a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the bottom panel in place. Keep the screws in a safe place. 4. **Locate the Drain Hose**: - Once the panel is removed, you should see the filter housing and the area where the drain hose connects. - Look for the point where the hose disappeared. It may have fallen inside, but you should be able to see or feel it. 5. **Retrieve the Hose**: - If the hose is visible, use pliers to gently pull it back into place. - If the hose is not immediately visible, you might need to carefully feel around the inside of the washer's base to locate it. 6. **Reattach the Hose**: - Once you have the hose, reattach it securely to its original position. Ensure it is firmly connected to prevent any future leaks. - Some washers have a clip or bracket that holds the hose in place. Make sure the hose is secured properly. 7. **Replace the Bottom Panel**: - Once the hose is back in place, reattach the bottom panel with the screws you removed earlier. 8. **Turn On Water and Power**: - Turn the water supply back on. - Plug the washer back into the power outlet. 9. **Test the Washer**: - Run a short cycle to ensure there are no leaks and that the hose is properly secured. If you find the process difficult or are unable to retrieve the hose, it might be best to contact a professional appliance repair technician to avoid any potential damage to the washer.

If It snows a lot, i would hit it a couple times like I do with shoveling. Seems a lot easier than shoveling. I dont need a full size snowblower. I dont have enough room in the garage.

    • @lukeroetling8543
      @lukeroetling8543 27 днів тому

      @@dissectingdiyA 2x4 could easily be removed by a child from the inside or fall out of place from vibration making it a ghetto non solution. It is also not painted so it is porous and will eventually mold from condensation caused by a window AC. It is also just plain ghetto looking and a man that isn't lazy would do the job right. Also a brain would tell somebody that the 2x4 isn't securing anything as someone would easily push the 2x4 in to open the window after breaking the panel. If you screwed the 2x4 into the window then you should have just screwed the frame in the way it was designed 😂

    I'd use a snowblower for that size of driveway. I have the green works version and I like it. Having said that I live in a townhouse and am clearing a single car driveway and helping out with elderly neighbours who can't shovel. The small size means they can get into tight spaces but also keeps them practical for small driveways and walkways.
