One of my all time favorite pieces of video game music. I used a tape record to record this music on a cassette tape when I was 12 years old. I had to present a piece of music to my class and talk about it, but I was told that it was not "real" music. So happy to see folks like you and others on UA-cam who recognize the beauty in this song. Thank you for the awesome cover!

Are you using Return UA-cam Dislike? I checked and yeah it's overestimating the number of dislikes by a lot. The video only has a few dislikes.

Really can't beat that first string of Cosmic Angel Zone, all other remixes try to change it where it's best to just leave it how it is and let it fly off the handles. great arrangement.

Thanks! I have a bunch of stuff I want to get out that's 90% done, but had problems mixing and mastering that last 10% (they still sounded "off" to my ears) so I decided to put them on hold. I think I should go back and try to finish them up now.

As I mentioned on your comment on the Subway Song video, the version of the game I have is called the "SimCity 2000 CD Collection". The bonus cities that are based on real-life cities came with special tilesets that make certain buildings look like landmarks. The Toronto tileset has both the CN Tower and the Rogers Centre (or back then, the SkyDome). Railroad Rap is one of the next SC2000 track I'm considering doing.

The version of the game I have is called the "SimCity 2000 CD Collection". It has the base game, a tileset editor called the "SimCity Urban Renewal Kit" (or "SCURK" for short), and a whole lot of extra scenarios and bonus cities. The background uses the "Future" tileset that came with SCURK.
