Amazing finds.
I frequent up there at DP. Their are is also clam bed fossils, and have been told there is always a chance to find a quarts arrowhead
That alligator juniper is the good wood!
Is that all amethyst? Or Fluorite? I see lots of purple
Tombstone Arizona Fluorite
I love the song and i found one in az it looks just like that tad smaller im taking it in to see❤
@@Ladybugz2 great tune 😉 That's awesome! Good luck 🙌⚒️
Second time I watched this. Prolly some cool ways you could preserve parts of that. & Did u ever find a low fee way to move that crypto off binance platform? Bc I'd like to know myself😜🤙
@Mr_badjoke that piece cleaned up and maintained like 95% of what you see there. It's actually very stable it just has tiny delicates. I was able to buy XLM stellar lumens for the lowest fees and sent it to Robinhood.
That a crystal…not a scale
@wolfgirl2499 its a crystal from a very special trend where limited stock came out in 2019. I believe it's been flooded and inaccessible for years since. They are called dragon scales because the way the crystals stack and layer they resemble scales. Plus it's a cool name. And in the center/core of these is a golden pyrite covered phantom crystal.
They’re so gentle & innocent 💖 the Universe🌏 Creates 🌍 Amazing ⭐️ life💫
Enjoying a moment of comfort and warmth. 💚🤍🦎🧚🏻🧚🏻🧚🏻🧚🏻♀️
Cool video, terrible music.
@JillBoBill1 please tell youtube to add better royalty free / no copyright music. I can't use led zeppelin and still have it monetized.
I would find a way. A lot can be carried balancing on your back or shoulders and using proper lifting and moving techniques. I would wrap it in heavy canvas with fat shoulder straps and try. It is absolutely magical. ❤
@@evonne315 same! It's coming home with me 🤣
Gorgeous work!! ❤
Yep thats cooler than our florida geckos ...nice colors n shyt🤙
@@Mr_badjoke they are rad. AZ has a crazy assortment of reptiles. I've even had 2 Gila monsters in my yard
No holes are being covered, it looks like a metal detector army went through the forest, moon like in the washs.
Is it Some kind of rattlesnake?
Nice! I'm heading there the 17th-20th.
@jimhutchison3435 good luck! Hope you find some treasures! 💎💎💎
Thanks for sharing! My wife and I like to go on offroading adventures, and rock hound while we're out. We find great pieces in the desert near our home. We live in Peoria AZ, so we'll definitely check out Diamond Point.
@KnightsAdventures that's awesome! Have fun and I hope you find many treasures!
🤩
@@sharonedigitale 🤣💎⛏️
Are there any good areas up there that aren’t within the designated dig site? Or is the whole area good for hunting?
@@BiffTannenBTTF the trend runs for something like 100 miles. You can go just about anywhere 💎⛏️
Just went up yesterday. It’s my favorite place in Arizona!
@BiffTannenBTTF it's so good! One of my absolute favorites as well!
I saw 1 that was an EF three
Thank you for posting this!! I’m an avid rockhounder & have been trying to find info on this place for a while. Need to figure out if I can get there by Mustang, though lol.
@T4TTOOED_TR4VELER you'd be fine in the mustang. The roads very well maintained. Just don't go peak winter because of the snow or right after a big rain storm. Roads are better than mine to my house tho no joke 🤣
I love Diamond Point, it made me appreciate all that was around me. So much fun, my best time to hunt for them is just about dark. I turned on my flashlight to find my way back to my car. The ground was covered with diamonds. What an awesome experience!!!
@@valeriecarter8318 day and night there are both a blast. Did you hear the Elk bugel? I loooove that sound it's so cool.
Yall get the most incredible specimens Ive ever seen!! Well really Ive never seen any ,except on here 😂😂.. I’m not lucky enough to live somewhere to go get nothing & I can’t travel cuz I’m a caretaker for my daughter that was in a horrible car accident an I’m raising her lil girl an now that’s my life ,,, but I enjoy ur excitement,, thank you ❤
That's a treasure, for sure!!😊👍
Thank you for sharing your experience, my man and I will go there soon, 3 years ago we went to Crater of diamonds state park I think it was Arkansas 🤫
@DivineHealing-cv9uv yes Arkansas. I'd like to try it once. I almost stopped a few years ago but I spent the day at Sweet Surrender Quartz mine instead and had a great time for like $30.
Big boy
I was hunting palmetto berries in SE Florida & I stepped against a big rattler by accident. I get goosebumps Everytime I think about it still can't believe it let me back away .. it was coiled ready & my foot was touching it😅. 😩 Ugh so always beat the bushes & have a long poker
@Mr_badjoke luckily not many bushes where I'm at but they blend in with the dirt and grass well. Having a long pecker is good advice. My neighbor and I were talking at the fence one day face to face and I looked down and one was coiled between us. His foot was pretty much touching it but I guess it knew we weren't actually aware of it so it didn't strike. I told him to back off slowly and he was like HOLY 💩!!! 🤣
My lady and i are headed up there next weekend. It'll be my third trip, her first. I've never found anything, but this time i plan on hiking much further out! Last time i was there i ended up near a fenced area and a big (nasty) pond. I think I'll go the other way this time. Was there a particular side if NF65 that you think was better to look on?
@CoffeeKen follow my video and keep a sharp eye to the ground. I promise you will find many! Remember to really stop and look close where there are exposed spots that smaller rocks settle. Best of luck! I hope you find some amazing ones!
@CoffeeKen as far as NF65 I'm not sure. I think you can find them for many miles out there. That whole mountain line is rich with Quartz. Most important is just to get past where it's over searched.
@@ishockrocks thanks, will do! So exciting!
Is this in California?
How fun!
I kept wanting you to pry that crack open imagining all sorts of crystal spilling out at your feet! Um, I mean knees!!
Don't really know if she would know what to do with a poisonous snake...
@kentvan4842 the rattle keeps em away. It's like they have that information built into instinct that the sound means caution.
My dog would probably be going psycho, kill mode.
@kentvan4842 haha 😄 when were not aware the dogs will bark to alert us of the presence of a snake. They have a distinct almost question bark they do. If they know I see it first they just keep a safe distance.
❤❤❤ beauty as always and wtf ?? Y’all like snakes, I do believe!!! 😂😂😂😂
@@CrystalBrock-z7z it was in our mine. Had to be gently removed. Very friendly gopher snake 🐍 😆

Hahaha! Ive neer seen one fresh hatched! Couple little 'cat' naps will help.
That was a huge hop it took! And you can see the leakage of its glands in a few spots. I used to have to herd big toads away from tarantulas to prevent the toad from eating it.
@erinmoen6025 I've seen one try once. It got hair spiked and rubbed it's face for 5 minutes sticking out its tough as if to say "Awww YUCK!" 😝👋
Did you relocate it? I stopped telling my husband when I would see a rattler. He invariably killed them. I don’t like that.
@erinmoen6025 yes I just move them off my property onto the protected land across the street
You are so lucky! I haven't seen any snakes this year! 'Course, I haven't been out much. But when you see 3-4 cats focused on something in the middle, it's usually a snake. I once had a battle with a rattlesnake.. A couple-4 years ago, I was out at night watering some flowers in this round, built-up ring that has a flagpole in its center erected by the previous owner. I thought I saw 2-3 baby rattlers at the base in the weedy grass! I followed around the circle and came upon a very large rattlesnake half hiding in some orange-flowered mallow plants! Of course I had to observe and study it! I may have hosed it with some water, and it was on the move! Towards the front of the house where a long hedge-thing grew! I realized I couldn't let it get in there, th cats traveled behind it to get around. So, I started spraying it with the hose in earnest, using my finger to make it jet. When I'd hit it in the face, it would turn away. But my finger-jet always fell apart and it would turn back to the hedge! Oh my god, I thought, here I was at night with a flash light and a hose trying to tell a rattlesnake where it couldn't go! My heart was pounding in my ears! So, here we go along the hedge, me spraying, the snake turning away but stubbornly turning back to get to the hedge everytime! Step by step and side-winding by side-winding we progressed up the 40 feet of the house! We both were slowing down until, with a last burst of speed, it charged for the hedge again! I jetted for what I was worth, and I won! At the end of the hedge the snake gave up and sluggishly moved across the rocky yard and into the mesquite and creosote across from the house. I didn’t follow. I watched for a bit to gather what nerves I had left and to make sure it wouldn't double back. It didn’t. I slowly walked to the raised stone circle, dragging the hose. I went around and round the circle looking for the babies. I never saw any. It was a terrifying experience that could have had a worse outcome. Especially since I had come to the end of the hose.
@@erinmoen6025 omg that's a wild story! 🤣🤣🤣 water jet for the win!
Oooh no … what??? U must be that guy that likes the danger ⚠️ game .. for sure 👍🏻 😂😂😂..
@user-bl6le2ut3p haha nah I don't play games with them. I move em width a snake grabber and a bucket cuz I don't want to kill them but I have dogs, chickens and an elderly mom who likes to garden way too late and wander around without a flashlight 🤣
Real. From a copper mining area. Is it chrysocolla, calcite and malachite?
@erinmoen6025 it's Botryoidal Chrysocolla with a little Malachite and the special rare bit are the silver colored Barite crystals on it! From Planet Mine in Arizona.
@@ishockrocks It's exquisite! I just threw in calcite because I didn't know. Lol
@erinmoen6025 the barite is super rare and unusual!
Arizona
@kentvan4842 you got it my friend! Planet Mine 🌍⛏️
Real?
@@kentvan4842 yessir! A killer botryoidal chrysocolla with malachite and silver barite crystals. One of my most prized specimens 💎⛏️
What a cool glowy aspect this slab has, almost amberesque. Nice work!
@erinmoen6025 yeah its got a weird pearl or amber look! Super cool. There's backlighting in the stand as well. The crystal business owner I built it for said he liked it so much he was gonna take it home! 🤣 Always nice to get feedback like that.
Yeah, I caught that, very subtle, extremely beautiful!
Such a unique piece! I love how you say the 'rest of it's family' already came out! To me it shows great respect and love of rocks. My knid of people!
@@erinmoen6025 haha yes 🤗💎
I love fluorite!! Do you know of any fee sites to collect minerals locally? Or good rock hounding? As in a radius of 1-200 miles of Benson? We've collected gypsum desert flowers close by but I can't find anywhere else to go. I'm afraid I don't have much time left, a year or so, maybe. I would dearly love to rockhound a last time or two before I pass. I've looked and looked for short trips to good locations. I was thinking of Turquiose Mt. but don't know what people living around the area do if they see people prying around their mountain. Can't get to the marble in the Dragoons. The fluorite in the northern Whetstones is off limits. Excaliber is mining by Johnson in the Little Dragoons. I've thought of Tombstone and Bisbee but not sure where to look semi-specifically. Should have been exploring more when I wasn't on oxygen but my husband couldn't seem to make time to go as he had clients (old people) in Green Valley who depended on him for all sorts of time consuming projects or he wanted to stay round the property we moved to in 2016 to do stuff. Sigh. He's always been work first and a workaholic. Btw, can you tell me your location/booth number in the pavillion at the Fall Gem and Jewelry Show? It's coming up fast and I'm hoping to go for a time and to meet you. I showed my husband the lighted crystal stands you make and I'm pretty sure I want one. 😊 I also know I said I'd send some pictures of some of the rocks we have and I will, but something always comes up! A darn storm came through 4 days ago and knocked our power out for 9 hours so I had to use my cannistered oxygen, then forget to order some the next day!! Two day after that another one came through and cut the power again, this time for 3 hours! So I'm stuck in the house until Tuesday when they deliver here. Plus my golf cart is down. This getting old stuff is so frustrating and infuriating! I want to be out, exploring and rockhounding! Sorry for the whining and the rant. Just looking at your stuff makes me ache to be collecting..
@erinmoen6025 oh wow I'm sorry to hear about your health. Let me ask my friend who runs our mine. He knows many places and I'm sure he could offer advice on somewhere you could collect. Unfortunately, our mine has contracts that don't allow us to bring anyone on site. But I'm sure I can offer some advice. Let me get back to you. 🙏💚
@@ishockrocks Omg, thank you so much! It was a last-ditch cry into the wilds! I didn't really think anything would come of it, I was feeling guilty for posting it to you, it's not your problem. I'm afraid my moods go up and down, lately. Not really up, but more level. It's my fault for smoking so long, my mother and grandmother had COPD, I figured I was the 1 of 6 kids who would follow them on their path. It's a mental state, you know? Not CRAZY mental, just crazy mental. Like a dual person. Me who I am, me as I could have been type of thing. Just a smidgen crazy! Lol I'm so sorry about this! My cheeks are flaming I'm so embarrassed.. Ok, I'm a calm. And I wanted to tell you I took some photos earlier today. Not sure how good they are but need to send an email? A text? Is their an eaddy in your more section? Haha, I'll look when I'm done. It's late, trying to get 2 cats left in for the night. Coyotes, bobcats and a few other things eat cats. They can stay out but I like them in at night. Gotta go call again. I have a couple dozen photos and the rocks might be hard to see but I've found zooming in and a loupe can show it up better. Plus, the studio ones are dusty. Take care
