The closing scene of this movie always gets me. Everyone thought he was crazy for refusing to compete on a Sunday but he did it to honor God. Eric Liddel even in winning an Olympic gold medal saying he is nothing without God and He is so much more powerful. Great closing to a great movie.

Such an amazing movie! I've always wondered why they left out the line "Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall;" it would have been the perfect line to put over Aubrey falling.

After I listened to it, Barton was referencing that in Mt 6, Jesus said not to "worry over what to eat or to eat" Barton says because the disciples were worried about economic first. Jesus said to seek "righteousness first." There was nothing about voting. As far as I know in the Bible, there wasn't much voting, though an occasional "casting lots". As subject of a King or of Caesar, they wouldn't be able to vote.

There wasn't prayer in all schools before 1962.

And where did Jesus speak about voting in Matthew 6?

So if a political leader is Christian they are ''righteous''? And the ''wicked'' are who?
