Wish it were this easy to collect on debts. A guy owes me $10k from years ago. Loan, written contract. But unenforceable unless I take him to court which is a waste of time. Called some local “debt collectors” to inquire and they want 50% of the debt to go and do the job. Sounds like they’d assault the guy, so I didn’t proceed. Sucks to have no avenue to recover money as a law abiding person.

I never understood why they didn't just get Alex to find the bags, dig them up, and then unload them while they kept a gun on him from a safe distance. If the bags were booby trapped, Alex would've been killed and they'd be ok. If Alex had a gun in the bag, they could've shot him before he went for it. Also, I love how Dave ends up suggesting Alex's original plan back to him (without even realising it). Even criminals have bureaucratic nightmares!
