Yeah 😃. Here in Malaysia, the only engine offered is R20A. Maybe because in my country, we do have a car road tax system similar to other European countries which is based on the CC of the engine. The larger the CC, the more tax you need to pay 😅.

The engine is already consuming engine oil so I do not bother much 😆

Hello 😀. Unfortunately, the experiment failed and it is not caused by bad or cold solder joints. I decided to buy a new T-Con board 😅. Not long after, the 'new' T-Con board also went bad 🤣.

I think the problem might be the overheating t-con. due to the placement of t-con under the motherboard. ok after the t con replacement, have you used the hardcore like 8 hours straight or just casual like 2 hours a day ? and how long the t con lasted? and if you remember the time when the problem came back have overused the tv at that instance? and have you got the same issue in the new tcon whether it also worked after heating?

Hello 😀. Yes, the T-Con board is likely to fail because of excessive heat accumulated inside of the TV back cover. Be sure to attach an external USB exhaust fan at the vent around the TV back cover. After I replaced the T-Con board, I casually watched it for around 2-3 hours. The T-Con board did last around 1.5 years, something like that. When the 'new' T-Con board failed, I did not heat it up because I was too lazy to open back the TV back cover 🤣. Hope that helps 😁.

@@LanesEngineering thanks man. 1.5 years is good for a replacement t con. heating in my case. i just heated using a hair dryer on the back cover through the vents with out opening the panel. and it works and yes i was planning the same exhast fan in the back panel. thanks for sharing.

Yes, you need to clamp it first (very tightly) and then twist it back and forth and at the same time, pull the coolant hoses back 😃. These hoses have been clamped since 2011, so you get the idea how hard it is to remove it 😁.

Interestingly, my car does not have any idle issues after I moved the butterfly valve. The engine runs just fine 🤣

@@LanesEngineering too late, I ruined it. I ordered new one but TV still botched. Thought it was bad T-con board but that didn't fix it either.

@@LanesEngineering The Sony is soo bad doing it's job to repair the tv, They said it's screen fault and...The part won't be available cz it's been 7 years and even tho they won't just change the tcon board itself and charging me about 400 dollars for full screen replacement. So I'm here 😂

Hello 😀. If you're T-Con board is faulty, change it to a newer one. I also changed the T-Con board of my TV to a 'newer' (probably refurbished 😕) one and not long after, the 'new' T-Con board also went out 🤣. I've changed to a new TV since then 😆.

Hello 😀. From your question, I assumed that your car does crank but does not start. No, a dirty Throttle Body (TB) and Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) will not cause a car to not start because you only need air, fuel, and spark to get the car running. Check those first. For the TB and IACV, it is extremely rare for these two components to get jammed up (TB Butterfly Valve) and clogged up (IACV) from a minor dirt. Hope that helps! 😄

stuck closed idle air control can cause crank no start (its very rare though) just watched scanner danner video on it, it was lexus. try to start the car with foot on the pedal (not much, just a little to open TB butterfly to let some air come in), if car is still no start, you can rule TB/IAC.
