The Story focused games were known as text based games and consisted entirely of reading and decision making. these days games are frequently filled with both story and game play, so how did we get here?

Hey everyone, It has been a while since I last made a video. Let me know in the comments what you think of this new type of video! I plan on making more videos like this in the future. In each of the first 4 Pokemon generations there were two original games, than, later a third game was released. These third games have received mixed reception overall. In this video I briefly discuss these game...
5:16 when she suck😂
How did he go from Mathias to Vlad Tepes?
Ironically Dracula became bored without a wife
If Only Netflix had created a more faithful Adaption of the Original Castlevania Series & not the trash that the creators came up with, the anime would have been so good.
While I like the main canon backstory of Dracula, I MUCH prefer the backstory of Dracula from 'Castlevania Lords of Shadow' as it is more compelling, interesting and creates a greater connection between Drac and the Belmonts because in the LoS series... SPOILERS!!! Dracula's original identity was that of Gabriel Belmont, who was bound by destiny and didn't exactly choose too become Dracula.
Was even Mathias a real friend to begin with? He allowed his FRIEND's lover to be capture by a vampire after he himself has lost his own wife. Then he had the audicity of asking Leon to join him in immortality. Not a friend at all if you ask me. I wouldn't want my Friend to go through the same pain as I, putting his lover's life in danger after I already lost mine.
The whole mess would have been solved if the stones were destroyed. Destroying the stones would stop it. Since death would appear, one could bargain with death to put a stop to the stones having an effect.
It's said throughout history that he was made into a vampire because he sold his soul to the devil for power after the death of his first wife.
So wait, I thought Gabriel Belmont was Dracula? This skit is very interesting, and I need to get more involved in more of the Castlevania games and storylines.
I remember this game. How about Castlevania Lord Of The Shadow? When Gabriel Belmont became...
Ironic that it was Mathias' progeny will take arms against him in the end 😭
Lords of Shadow Dracula is way better than main continuity Dracula because he does his own dirty work. He didn't trick a Belmont to defeat an enemy to steal its power; he was the Belmont that defeated the monsters and took their powers. There's a funny chad-virgin dracula image that states both versions' differences.
Why Dracula became a Vampire simplified 1 he had to deal with constant invading army's and soldiers from the time he was living in 2 superhuman strength speed healing and other supernatural abilities like immortality and psychic powers are beyond useful in any kind of fight or war 3 who doesn't want immortality and eternal youth and to get stronger faster and smarter as time goes by = why he decided to become a Vampire 🧛♂️
I guess the dead cells a return to castlevania was a little detour from the main canon story.
Who was the first vampire?
I hope this shit isn’t canon because it’s the dumbest story in castlevania omg
Dude it's canon they made a game about it, what are you talking about?
The entire game series takes root from this
Bruh, why badguys be on this... "you should understand.." Dude! You Literally are the reason for my wife's death! smh
So Dracula was not the first vampire right I see🧐
The show and games are not connected canonically
So Sara died who did Leon have children with?
He just morbed to hard
Being an IMMORTAL would be an torturous neverending, existence...it would probably end up driving the weak ones Insane.
You shoulnot have that background music playing i cant focus on your commentary Dude!
How could you trap the 'soul' of a vampire if vampires don't have a soul?
Teh-Pesh
Gabriel was so much cooler.
So he’s not Vlad the Impaler in this?
Nope, he was not in the initial book either, Copola did is responsible for it.
Mathias Cronqvist Is An Excellent Tactician. Castlevania Is Awesome! Great Video!
Whats the song at 2:34 please tell me it sounds so good
But none of that matters now because we Stand by Gabriel Belmont who is technically the current cannon
Lords of Shadow is a self contained universe. Netflix show is based on the original games.
wait, i thought he called himself vlad tepis, why is it mathaias now?
He was Mathias first, centuries later he adopted the Vlad Tepes identity Though it's also important to mention that the show and games are not connected canonically
I love her a lot,,,, aaaaaaaaajjj 🍯 yes
I Love the Castlevania Games Too Bad they Rebooted it in 2010 with that Horrible Reboot, I Hope The Castlevania Netflix Series Explores The Story of Leon Belmount and Mathias and His Transformation into Dracula, Also I want to see the Story of Julius Belmont and the Demon Castle War of 1999, Julius Belmont is my Favorite Because he was the One to Finally Defeat Dracula For Good.
But wasn't this game in the series sayed to be non cannon?
The content is great but I wish your voice was louder and clearer than the background. I kept losing track of what you're saying many times.
So this whole conflict between Dracula and the Belmonts all started because of a Belmont.
No, it was because of Mathias
@@gv82089 I don’t even remember what the context was
@@TheMarionick Mathias/Dracula used Leon Belmont his friend and Leon's fiance to become a vampire of unspeakable power so he could have his "revenge" on god because he could not accept human mortality.
his name was gabriel,gabriel belmont
That's a different universe
@@saldzbob9972 A dead one at that.
@@Raximus3000 you don't have to tell me man it's still hurts...
@@saldzbob9972 You enjoyed playing as a vampire that much?
High quality content, a shame you stopped.
Is there another game or source that explains when Mathias changes his name to Dracula? I was surprised Lament of Innocence didn't show the name change to confirm they are the same person and only implied it in the epilogue after the credits.
I do like the LoS Dracula origin story a bit better with Gabriel’s turn. But the canon origin story is still fantastic in how it all played out.
As a man married to a Romanian .. The S in Tepeș has a “ shh” sound . So it would be Tepeshh .
So who was the first vampire in the Castlevania series then?
If you mean the origin of the vampires in general, then there is none. Dracula is not an ordinary vampire for a couple of reasons. 1. He gained the curse trough the crimson stone 2. He is the avatar of a cosmic force or smth called chaos. In short vampires are not that important.
@@Raximus3000 Makes me wonder what the origin of the ebony and crimson stones are, I bet there is some juicy history behind those.
@@sethdouglas2765 We do know they are byproducts of alchemy while trying to make the philosopher stone, my guess is some insane alchemist mixed things that are less than advisable.
Speaker of this video, please take elocution lessons. By this way you can be understood well and be confident.
You pronounced Mathias wrong...it's "mott-yosh"
My mom is Romanian
That's not how they pronounce it in the game
I doubt the Chozo would make the meteriods on SR388. To much risk of the lab being overrun and the staff eaten. So unless they wiped out that lab after the population on SR388 stabilized. Then that lab would likely still have meteriods.
Well that just ruined the next six seasons of Castlevania.
You're welcome
Shame they make Castlevania anime so woke, gross, they make Alucard a perverd...
It is especialy creepy he is younger than he looks. Plus what they did to him, Romania, the church and every character is a crime.
@@Raximus3000 Oh not only that! But they praise muslim like is the only one true religion! The arrogance!
So Dracula never became a vampire... it was the other way around.. 🤣
So walter is the strongest vampire?
Used to be, before Dracula
Am I the only one who thinks the Crimson Stone is a reference to the Behelit from Berserk?
No, it was to the 1931 movie that medalion/brooch he is seen wearing in that movie.
Dude was 100% a chaotic neutral character that was forced to be true evil all because Leon couldn’t accept that he wanted to spite god. Besides the fact that he got Leon’s wife killed, he was a direct cause for the destruction of an evil vampire. I imagine that’s why he wasn’t really a villain in the show, he was only the antagonist to people who took everything from him.
I mean he was willing to sacrifice Leon's fiancee to gain immortality so that pretty much made him a villain. "I will never forgive you" - Leon Belmont
Not very smart are you?
