Kristopher Critters
Приєднався 13 лют 2013
This channel is basically me just recording things to show my friends but I left it open for anyone else who may be interested, really I'm just recording any random stuff when I'm bored, I am completely boring and uninteresting, so there's no real point in watching anything I produce, have a nice day! :)
Super Red Cherry Shrimp

A cute little wallaby at Flamingo Land Zoo [October 2020]
Переглядів 2314 роки тому
Me and my family getting a close up with an adorable wallaby in the wallaby walkway. I’m aware I should not have touched the wallaby but I could not resist the opportunity and would have accepted all responsibility if I’d been bitten as a result. A zoo keeper came to shoo the wallaby away shortly after the video ended.

My Newts on a log (salvaged clip)
Переглядів 796 років тому
So, last summer I was gathering videos following some newts I'd captured from birth to semi adulthood when the device I was recording on messed up and I lost a lot of footage which naturally took my enthusiasm for a lot of UA-cam stuff away, anyway here's a super short clip I salvaged, RIP newt series, haha.
A long look at my experimental pond tank (trial)
Переглядів 547 років тому
Just a spare tank I had lying around that I wasn't using for anything else, I thought I'd try something new (new to me anyway). This isn't a finished set up merely an experiment/trial to see how well I can keep these critters before I go any further. It's been about 4 and a half weeks now, in truth I had a bunch of videos to upload and I kept putting them off because I'm stupid, hoping to get a...

A closer look at some Common Black Diving Beetles (Agabus Bipustulatus)

Some close up footage of some diving beetles I recently captured for a smaller tank project. Please ignore the trashy logo on the shot glass, it's all I had to hand.

Not a shocker to see one of these pretty girls again, if you follow this channel at all you'll know that they're one of my favourite native species and I always take the time to watch them going about their business or have a quick hold.
White Ermine Moth Clips

Hey, it's been quite a while since my last upload, sorry about that, didn't really feel up to it or like I had anything worth uploading but here we have one of my favourite moths that can be found in my country, the beautiful little white ermine moth in their winter explorer outfits, haha. As always, sorry for the poor lighting, the poor camera work, the poor camera quality and dun dun dun, my ...

A little video of me Unboxing a package of inverts from The Spider Shop, a little shaky and nervous, not really knowing what to say because I couldn't stop myself from thinking they'd been dead, fortunately that wasn't the case, still sorry about the poor quality.
Devils Coach Horse Beetle Feeding

I found a little grub thing on some decaying wood outside and offered it to my rove beetle, at first he ran and buried himself and it seemed I wouldn't get footage yet as soon as I switched off recording he decided to pop his head out and attack, well, here's some footage.

Those geese are "so soft" and also "so hissy"... ...so soft and hissy!
@@ElaineGarcia-uo8qj That they were!
Think spiders are so cool, but I also have an irrational fear of them, sometimes I try to man up and hold one but when I get to close then I chicken out
Wow never seen one that big
Just got bitten by one of these little shits
2:25 probably my favorite part of the vid, poor sheep dosen't know what you're talking about

thx for showing me
Hello, lovely video. I found one of these little cuties as a caterpillar in my basil. I re-homed it and now its a cutie moth. Any idea what to feed it. It just came out of its cacoon last night and Id like to set it free but on a full stomach. Much appreciated for your help .
Hello, thank you for your nice comment. :) Sadly I'm unsure what to feed them, a quick Google search is only yielding results for what the caterpillars eat. I would try and let it free near plants with a lot of flowers/pollen and hope for the best. :)
@@vestyxe Sounds good to me. Thank you for responding 🙂
hello friend! its been 6 years since you posted this i wish you still use your account and i jus wanted to ask what you gave them to eat or what do they usually eat. I mean i searched and they are surely carnivorous but i want a spesific answer o their diet like do they eat bugs smaller than them or they even attack the bigger or equal size insects i dunno. I would be so happy if you can help me!!
Hello, thanks for your comment. I fed them varied fly larvae that I gathered from ponds and small bodies of water, also small worms I dug from muddy puddles. I'm sure if you visit a shop based around fish keeping you could obtain blood worms and brine shrimp which I'm sure they would consume, just a suggestion though, I may be wrong. Good luck!
@@vestyxe thanks much buddy!! 👍🏿👍🏿
I would bring a big basket of apples for the donkeys! ❤❤❤
Lmao when you said 'Hail Satan'.
I fell in love with pigs and swine in general(such as wild boars and warthogs and whatnot) at an early age. Something about them is just so unique compared to other animals. I feel pigs need more love and attention. Part of why I plan on visiting this local farm in a couple weeks so I can go see them and give them attention as I feel I need to see pigs more in my life and express my love for them a bit more openly. I’m usually less open about it because my love for pigs is an opinion I feel a little embarrassed by sometimes so most people I know don’t know that I do. I guess I feel embarrassed of it because of all the negative connotations and associations with them. Well hopefully I’ll be able to express this part of myself more openly in the coming years.
Go for it bro it’s your life and always remember you have no enemies

The first one looks like a mix between a bulldog and a sheep. Wtf

Hello! I was wondering, could you make an new video with the “Eratigena atrica”? I have some of those, and i love Them! Their so cool. Any video about those would i love to see, But it would be cool if u could make a vid, about mating Them? Or you could also make a video about the spider called “amaurobius similis”! I love that species and i have it myself. Theyre easy to find if u dont have it, places to find Them is, when u open a window in ur basement, they sit in the corner.
Hello there, thanks for all your comments! I'm currently not looking to capture or breed any native spiders at the moment but if I come across one by coincidence I'll be sure to capture a little video. Thanks for watching. :)
Nice spider! Are u gowna keep it?
Lovely! I live in Oslo and found a cute black hairy little caterpillar hiding in my firewood. I spent some time identifying it and I'm pretty sure it's either S. lubricipeda or S. urticae. I love how you care for these beautiful creature. I'm currently looking for more so that they can overwinter at my house. Thanks for taking the time to film and post.
This was a very nice and thoughtful comment, I wish you good luck in your future moth caring and thank you for watching. :)
do you remember me........
They’re like dogs, but smarter
Happy pigs.
Hey I know that sheep that’s Texel sheep I love sheeps 😊
Imagine seeing that and the first thing that comes to mind is to kill it
That is a labrynth spider. Away from the web they are quite friendly but when threatened they can deliver a painful bite. A work friend got bitten on the leg by one and spent a few days in hospital with bite wound complications. I had to go in and identify it for him. It was dead though when i saw cus of the patting and jumping around after it bitten him. He says pain is like an injection then turns into like 2 -3 times that of a bee sting. Pain lasts several hours.
No
Cool ! I am terrified of spiders but she looks pretty chilled and docile .
I see alot of them in my garden and keep tabs on a few of them especially the big females. It's interesting to see them grow and lay eggs and see more of them every week. I threw a small part of a leaf into one of tge webs to see how they would react and as I expected she did walk up to it and touched it, I thought she would wrap it up thinking it would be prey but she actually grabbed it pulled it off the web and kicked it away to the ground. I was amazed by the way it was able to get it off so fast. Remarkable spiders but I wouldn't touch them I'm pretty freaked out by most spiders, the exceptions are Jumping spiders and docile Tarantulas.

Aw man I find Donkeys adorable I don't get why they're the least liked animals
That's awesome! I love jumping spiders. they're adorable. Lol
I'm very stoked about getting her, our native species only get to be 13mm, so to have one of these larger species is a treat. Glad to hear from you. :)
@@vestyxe Glad to see you're doing well.
I think it's a Zoosphaerium sp.
Even fed them, too, when I was in fifth grade, 17 years ago, 2005.
I love geese, they are hilarious. There is a couple of them near where i work and i sometimes feed them bread. They usually hiss first when i approach them, but as soon as i give them bread they stop hissing and just start eating, then staring at me for more bread. One of them came up real close (like a securityguard at the club telling you must leave close haha) so i didn't pet him, but i REALLY want to pet them. I also want them to become my guards.
Great sheep
lanimale santo x antonomasia 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I know this is an old video but I was wondering if your Dwarf Gouramis have ever had raised white spots on their fins. I got one almost a month ago and it has 2 spots, both on the fins. The spots have been there the entire time and no additional spots have appeared. I haven't been able to find any information about it but did find 2 few pictures that look similar, both of which were on female dwarf gouramis as well. Thank you!
Aww I miss petting zoos and sheep ❤
They are so adorable
what is on the sheep's head
The horns but I think people can't pet the sheep's horns because the sheep will think it's an attack but the sheep don't mind if you pet there fluffy
Not really black its more of a brown but cool video thougj
Clever sheep
We call them Kątnik in Poland. I usually take them out, cause they scare me. Glass plus paper. He lives in a toilet roll? Lol.
bulldog sheep lmao
Bug guru here but almost every invert is illegal to import to the US due to a stupid ban cause stupid people release animals like fuckoffs. Play stupid games win stupid prizes...
Beautiful spider.
Sheep: huh... so this is what all those dogs are talking about, I like this.
Mate even after 5 years, your still hearting comments. I respect that kind of dedication.
@@SFStransit Appreciated, bro. I don't really post anymore cause life stuff got in the way but I'm always around to share love with the kind people that stumble upon my channel.

How did you find it
I feel bad for the horned one because of the way the media portrays them.
Nice little spider
Sure is :)
