Do you have vegan protein suggestions? Thanks
Love it! Especially that you addressed the maintenance and how important it is. One word for fasting (and I did that with medical supervision, plus seeing a therapist, want to stress that I would not suggest diy-ing this) ... As someone who had a disturbed relationship with food to begin with, I found fasting quite helpful not for weight loss directly, but to make visible how often food was just my go-to: motivation, reward, consolation, boredom... Having a few longer fasting windows made it really apparent that I lacked strategies to regulate and deal with my emotions. Now that I have found out my triggers I have different strategies: journaling, taking a bath, going for a walk, and sometimes it's still food, but then it's a conscious choice.

True true, TRUE! All these points ive slowly learned in my most revent fitness journey, 10 months going strong. Most successful I've ever been, finally getting the smaller stronged and toned body of my dreams. People may roll their eyes at me, but i see results and im looking better at 37 than i ever did at any other point in my life
Yes yes yes yes yes!! Slay lady!!
My problem is that I hate to eat, after losing 120 lbs and keeping it off for around 9 years I am always mentally on diet my body doesn't look like I think 140lbs should look, I have a texture issue with food and usually only eat things like canned chicken or tuna and still have a hard time swallowing mushy stuff like that, any ideas on how to retrain myself to eat a wider variety of foods,
Eating enough food is the only way to create a metabolism that is on fire. This is going to require a lot of mental work. I have a licensed therapist on my team for this exact reason. The mental aspect of this journey will trump the physical all day long. If we can’t master what is going on upstairs it will never be sustainable

1:18 I enjoyed the video and agree with most of the points. However, you admit that your client did not stay consistent with her protocal. Therefore, intermintent fasting and the ketogenic lifestyle did work she just didn't. Hence, why her results weren't achieved.
@@fantasia243645 thanks for your support. You are correct, any diet will “work” if you are in a calorie deficit but the diet is not sustainable long term if you can’t stay consistent. Anybody can do something short term but this is why 85% of people gain weight back. So was the diet really successful if you gained it all back. This is exactly why I am so passionate about giving women lifestyle, not quick fixes that feel good in the moment. This is what keeps women stuck, frustrated, and confused.
correct, it didn't work FOR HER. you can have the best, most perfect dialed-in plan but if the person you gave it to isn't able to follow it for whatever reasons, then it is not the best plan FOR HER. as a coach you have to take into account what is reasonable for the person's life. not push something onto the client that is not going to work. the inconsistency was the key indicator.
@@nintendobunz exactly but I would say most people can’t stay consistent to no carbs, only eating in magical windows, cutting out all of their favorite foods, nor should they. So yes in theory the diet works, but not for them if they can’t stay consistent
Also… how dare you claim surgery is a “quick fix”… you really don’t get it. Your tone is defensive and clearly you don’t understand what medical issues impact and are impacted by obesity. It is not just a body composition issue and your view is clearly flawed. I doubt you’ve struggled with obesity ever in your life and your defensive attitude towards the client you’re speaking to shows that you don’t care about your clients wellbeing at all… you care more about your ego.
Maybe it depends on what surgery they have had because I’ve also met plenty who will tell you it’s the best thing they’ve ever done. There are many different types of bariatric surgeries and each one has its pros and cons. Those who have said they wouldn’t do the surgery again probably weren’t prepared for it or had done their research… or they never bothered to change their mentality throughout that process. So I’m not sure who you are talking to who have had surgery but I’m guessing that you’re not actually seeking to understand the procedures nor are you trying to talk to anyone else beyond your inner circle. What you’re saying could keep someone from getting life altering surgery because you’re saying that no one you’ve talked to has said they got a positive result from surgery… so you’re saying to this client that dissatisfaction is 100%… and that’s just not reality.
As mentioned at the very beginning of the video it’s a very personal decision & I am sure there are plenty of people who are happy with their decision.
Hey there also a guy just popped up on my feed. Comes up a bit strong at first but the advice is solid. No nonsense personality. I went through a 60 pound loss, still got 40 to go, but i had been recomping the last 4 months to take a break from diet and its great. Had a InBody test and even though it says 30% fat i do look/feel leaner. Good luck y'all in whatever change you are going through
Thanks for your feedback! Congrats on losing 60lbs! Own TF out of that! Diet breaks are essential! Remember the leaner you become it is less about scale loss and more about actually changing the way your body looks!

I only got up to minute 2:55 yet I want to add that focusing upon "the symptom" of excess weight as a way to "lose weight and body fat and keep it off forever" is like you hammering whatever you said into a stiletto. First of all if you want folks to be free of the symptom of excess body weight, it will be highly recommended to refrain from using the word "lose". The solution for permanent freedom from "the symptom" of excess body weight can be accomplished through maintaining a "state" of flow to resolve the root cause. Using the word "lose" hooks us into a lack frequency where we are stuck battling "resistance". Additionally, it is incorrect that many folks can "lose" weight simply by ramping up their metabolism. Many are actually extremely overweight while eating very little due to severely imbalanced & inflamed gut microbiome. The symptom of excess body weight can only be resolved through addressing the many root causes which most times are psychological due filling in for unconscious areas of "not enoughness" from childhood. The microbiome needs to be addressed as well most critically. By our continuing to focus upon "the symptom" of excess bodyweight, similar to how big pharma focuses on symptoms, we keep folks investing in expensive bandaids spinning their wheels and never resolving the actual "problem" that is "the root cause" of the symptom.
❤ your videos hun. You tell it like it is You speak the truth. Thanks for your amazing videos. 🥰🥰🥰
First, you can't even pronounce chiropractor properly. Second, you obviously haven't researched both the pre-requisites for getting into Chiropractic College, nor have you researched what a chiropractor studies during school ..plus the 4 National Board exams, plus the individual state's continuing educational requirements to maintain the license. You out of the gate call him a "lying doctor" then agree with the first point he says. Also, the certifications to become a fitness trainer from organizations like ISSA are a joke that teach generic, outdated material. Dr. Berg offers plenty of peer reviewed clinical research supporting information he provides, as does Dr. Jason Fung, Dr. Peter Attia, Dr. Robert Lustig and others ..who give similar nutritional and metabolic advice. NOT IMPRESSED WITH YOU AT ALL. You don't need to tear down others in your quest to help people get healthy
Tearing others down or educating others? I am sorry… the man pushes keto salts as the answer to your fatloss prayers. If you want to follow his advice… love it, you do you! I am just out here to educate that there is a better/sustainable way. My girls eat donuts and still drop body fat. They are given education/tools for lifestyle. They are not forced to cut out carbs as the only way to see results. They don’t lose it, just to gain it back.
@@nicisfit Donuts are a big NO NO. I did enjoy your video. Thanks
@@davidadcock3382 curious as to why donuts are a big no no?!
@@nicisfit Processed foods use Fructose as a sugar. Fructose can only be used by your liver where Glucose can be used by your whole body. To much Fructose is a killer for weight loss and good health and is bad for your liver. Fructose makes you hungry where Glucose does not. Table sugar is 50 percent Glucose and 50 percent Fructose. Fructose makes things sweeter and there are some modern fruits that have been breed to have much higher levels of fructose to make them sweeter. The key to weight loss and good health is to eat correctly 100 percent of the time which will control hunger and to get good nutrition all the time. I eat foods that only has ONE word in the ingredient list. Real Meat, Real Vegetables, Real Fruit, Real Eggs. Real Butter, Real Lard, Real Nuts, If it is real I will eat it except for Wheat, Barley, Rye and Oats and NO Vegetable oils. I have never had a problem with gluten but gluten tends to plug up your small intestines and inhibits proper nutrition absorption. Remember you are NOT what you eat but you are what you can Absorb and if you are nutritionally deficient you will be hungry with cravings. I completely and easily turned my life around when I learned these things. I fought Gout my whole life and when I gave up fructose the gout was gone before I had even began to lose much of the 132 pounds I lost and my Female Doctor was Astounded by my transformation. I have never felt or looked or felt better in my life at 74 years old. I am by nature a big guy and my doctor told me before I lost the weight if I weighed 230 pounds they would call me slim. I have weighed 218 for 5 years now after starting at 350 pounds. If you would like to learn more about me or this subject just let me know otherwise good luck to you. I do NOT want to go back to the way I was with a donut in my mouth!!
@@davidadcock3382 I am by no means advocating for the majority of your food to come from processed sources… believe me, just the opposite. We preach 85-90% whole food sources on my team. However, the 10-15% fun foods/soul foods is where sustainability comes into play. I don’t want to know a life without cookies or ice cream and my clients don’t either. Food is fuel, yes and it should Nourish our bodies. But it’s also fun, entertainment, enjoyment. Life is too short to eliminate things that bring us joy.
