Anette is the worst singer of Nightwish

I will always prefer Anette singing the songs she recorded with them just as I prefer Tarja singing all the songs she recorded with them. Floor is simply covering them, and I honestly don't enjoy her versions

I never liked Anette's pop sound, and then suddenly there was Floor with Nightwish what she does on stage and with the crowd and singing and, and.... then there's no question.

Even the studio version is weak with Anette with all the enhancements but at least in tune.

A comparison between live and studio is never a goed idea.

Annette got a raft after she left, but she really was quite good, unfortunately Floor was a better fit.

This whole album to me was a disappointing at 1st it has grown on me i like this song as well as many but theres really not a single song i love abd feel i have to keep playing it over and over except maybe the 1st song end of days

Very progressive composition in this one.

Floor can pull it of live, but you can see/hear that she does not really like the song, just like "Over the Hills", she must have been happy when both songs were removed from the set list (Over the hills is the only Nightwish song (but originally Gary Moore) I do not like).

This one is my third favourite from the album. Can't wait for you to hear The Children Of Ata!

Believe it or not there are songs that Floor simply can not pull off, this is one of them. Anette's vocals fit this like a glove!!It was indeed Marko singing, Troy only did the "gar tuht river" part. On your own you should watch the fan made animated video to this song. It will bring a tear to your eye

Ah yes, our unique tradition of heavy metal songs.😅 No but for real...in Finland, Christmas is not only a time of joy. It is a time when we remember our dead relatives, go put candles on their graves etc. It's a time of peacefulness and there is an old tradition of declaring "Christmas peace". 😊 I do love our Christmas songs (many are of German origin btw) and the melancholic vibe mixed with the traditions. ❤ edit: old church songs translate really well into metal. The reason is briefly touched upon the documentary "Promised land of heavy metal", right in the beginning.

Marco has some of the best clean vocals I've heard. Another great clean vocalist is ICS Vortex, one of my favourite songs from him is "Colossus"(made with the band Borknagar, quite old I guess).

Jukka holding his head always makes me feel a bit blue, as I learned only later on that he suffered from horrible migraines. 😔

This was a dream come true for the teen me. Sonata was fairly new back then (not that many fans etc.), and seeing Tony on stage with Tarja = 🤯🤯 edit: that "rolling" ending is always such a treat.

While Tarja had her flaws, she was an incredible interpreter of Tuomas' feelings. That realness is what I love about her; she takes her lines seriously and feels them.

What a fun reaction, tysm! 😊 I loved NW as a teen, and this live was the peak of...everything back then. You can hear a bit of Tarja's thick Eastern Finland accent in her "Hei, hei!" near the end. ☺️
