We've now confirmed that the Drum Major shouts "Massed Bands, Massed Bands 'Shun" (short for "Attention") ........... "Massed Bands, By The Centre, Quick March" but what's the name of the first march when they step off from Wellington Barracks ? What a fantastic march, but what's the name please, anyone ? SuperNutkin (who knows the name of most marches, but not this one) !

@pillowbugg They were altered several times until the Cardwell Reforms of 1872, and then a couple of times after. The modern coat is much shorter, and a different shade of red. The trousers are black with red stripe (usually white in regular soldiers of Revolution era, bearskins hats were not used until Crimean War (instead Tricorne hats, until early 19th century) and shoes in 18th century would have been buckled, not laced. They are very different
