I never have any issues because I have been doing it for years. If the gap is tight. Knock it down with a piece of wood. Put a piece of wood on it and tap it down with a hammer. What screws do you mean underneath? Are they the temporary ones i have put in to hold the panel maybe? If so, they are removed once the panel is tacked in place and the holes welded up

@Supercarlsunday thanks. Yes I meant the screws underneath. I was thinking more about the video and wondered if I was being stupid - when you cut through the new and old sill at the same time, are you then removing the old part from underneath? Is this to make the top of old sill and beginning of new one meet up perfectly? I ask because I can't see any transition where you would have had to use filler to mask the 1mm higher new panel blending into the old if they remained overlapped .. Thanks again

@03056932 you remove the old panel underneath and butt weld the new panel where you have removed the old one. You can also put a piece behind the join to weld to. Some people do this and some people don't. It's good to do if your not a great welder. The screws underneath are temporary to hold panel in place.

I use it daily, and I'm still using it now. It's as it was when I bought it. The only thing is, it does need a couple water traps and draining daily! It gets a bit of water in it. It could be due to the small tank..

I've got the 50L unit as in this video. Very good bit of kit compared to the piston type compressor it replaced and the air output is very close to quoted numbers with significantly less noise. I run it with a DropOut autodrain water separator on the outlet side and that takes care of any condensate. The 200L unit will move a LOT of air 😊

It was cleaned up! I always clean up the area before applying filler! There was no burnt residue mixed in with the filler at all! Watch with your phone and zoom in! Your mistaken!

You're only stretching if you're over pulling. The panel is already stretched in the crease. You do what works to get as much damage out and use minimal filler. Thanks for your input on the video.

That's not a hair dryer I'm using it's a heat gun and I'm heating the bent parts up, pushing them in to place then cooling them so they stay there. This is the proper way to do this. I have been doing this for years. As you can see, it's done the job. 👍

Because it needed fixing lol
