That would be cool! I do think we need an online client to get some of the players who were playing back in the ptcgo days to come back before I could make an objective assessment. Right now there’s just so many isolated pockets of GLC at peoples locals it’d be hard to nail down who’s currently the best.

@@allaboutthatbaisch I definitely feel that. I think a few come to mind from the full grip games guys. Ben Morse, Mahone, and the dude who won last season in the conquest finals, but I forget his name. I think they each had eight or nine badges. Pretty impressive

Yeah, it feels like a real game changer for GLC. It definitely lowers the barrier of entry into GLC which I’m hoping will really help the format grow.

I did a podcast episode on it with the head developer Joe. Check that one out and it has all the details on how to follow Joe and the TL team.

This is a couple of weeks old, but the developers have introduced a new feature that scales cards to window size. It's still in closed beta, but it's getting better every day!

I only know that from “You Mind Jacked my Foul Play!!!!” Mirror matches are NASTY.

I did an interview with the head developer and put out the video on Monday. It’s got all the details there. It’s in closed beta, so you have to apply to be a tester currently.

How does pot helmet work on Drednaw? Surely mskes 220attacks ko it?

Putting a basic dark energy on Okidogi means you have to put 3 energy on it to attack. I think it will be playable in Munkidori lists though.

Agreed! Played my first game with it tonight in GLC today and was really impressed.

No, because it's an effect on all of your pokemon, not just Electivire.

So its more of a game state thing instead of just an effect on pokemon? The way i think about it is this: Previous attacks i have seen like cavern tackle on terrakion is lost if the opponent uses something like escape rope. Another one is doom curse which if the defending pokemon retreats it still lives. 1. you (on the turn all pokemon are disabled) retreat electevire, this resets the effect specifically just on electivire and no one else. 2. use escape rope / switch to get electivire back into active 3. attack with success!

Cavern Tackle actually can't be used next turn even after a switch out. The effect states that cavern tackle can't be used and places an effect on the game rather than the pokemon. Electivire's Attack places it's effect on all pokemon the following turn, therefore a switch out can't get rid of the effect. Pokemon Ranger would be the only way to do it.

Dark and Grass were my firsts too, but I found true love in fighting. Glad you’re enjoying GLC

@Blove4592 build fire mill, you'll lose more than you win but you'll have a lot of fun decking your opponents out. Fire is considered a pretty weak type altogether so I'd go for a fun build if I were you. It's what I built when I started out.
