Day trip to Russell Falls - July 2023
We got out and about in Southern Tasmania today. A day trip to Russell Falls at Mount Field National Park. Kids sooked about the walks, as usual, but managed them just fine and even had a bit of fun along the way!

Переглядів 131Рік тому
Warning - this is the full family home video version of our trip to Ben Lomond in July 2023! Probably only ever needs to be watched by those that feature in it! First time skiing adventures for the Rossiter Kids and they nailed it!
Skiing Adventures at Ben Lomond, Tasmania
Переглядів 2,4 тис.Рік тому
The kids hadn't been to the ski fields before, as we have missed a couple of winters while travelling, and they would have been too hard to handle on skis when they were little - so we decided to hit the Ben Lomond slopes! The ski season is pretty patchy in Tassie - which is a bit of a surprise considering our proximity to Antarctica - but we got lucky and found a perfectly sunny and calm day, ...
Port Gregory & Pink Lake (Hutt Lagoon), Western Australia
Переглядів 8103 роки тому
On the central coast of Western Australia, just south of Kalbarri, you'll find Hutt Lagoon and Port Gregory. We spent a couple of days out here, relaxing, fishing, walking the beach and checking out the PINK LAKE of course! We weren't even going to stay here, but decided to turn off at the last minute. The lake was pretty spectacular, but most amazing from the sky!
Mulka’s Cave & The Humps
Переглядів 2413 роки тому
Out near Wave Rock at Hyden, in WA, we came across Mulka's Cave and The Humps. We spent the morning exploring and leading about geology and aboriginal stories. It was super windy, and kids were super-sooky about walking, but we soldiered on!
Lancelin Sand Dunes, Western Australia

What a BLAST this one was! It was SO windy this day on the dunes! We had a great time, but were wrecked by the end of it! The poor kids got so much sand in their eyes, nose, mouth, hair, face, pants, everywhere! I'm pretty sure our kin was nicely exfoliated by the constant sand blasting too! It must have been extreme coz even hard-core Jacob chucked it in early and went back to the van to de-sa...
Life in Pemberton

Easter long weekend chilling out with the Jacksons in Pemberton! Marron trapping, quad bike riding, blackberry picking and chopping down trees! Oh, and easter eggs of course!
Table Island & Little Wharton Beach
Переглядів 1623 роки тому
Table Island and Little Wharton Beach are located on the southern coast of Western Australia, not too far from Esperance. This part of Australia is just stunning, with amazing white sands, and bright blue waters. We were here in the beginning of autumn, and got lucky with a few hot days, and generally nice weather. This adventure was done over a couple of day trips from our free-camp at Membinu...
Wave Rock, Lake Magic & Salt Spa

WAVE ROCK!!! This one nearly didn't make the cut on our trip of Oz! It wasn't exactly 'on our way' to anything, so a 600kn detour was in order to be able to tick this stunner off my list! John was going to happily drive off and leave this out, but he knew how much I wanted to see it, so ended up rejigging our plans and took me there as a Mothers Day treat. And I REALLY loved it! The other nearb...
Hippo's Yawn, Hyden WA
Переглядів 1383 роки тому
On an adventure to the middle of nowhere, and not near anything else we had planned to visit (except of course, Wave Rock!), we found this baby! A great playground for the kids in the shape of a Hippo's Yawn!
Caravan Waves: The Waves of the Big Lap
Переглядів 1313 роки тому
Doing a hot lap around Australia in a caravan requires all van drivers to adhere to the unwritten rule of waving to other travellers. Here is a compilation of some the many wavers you will encounter on your Big Lap.
Lucky Bay Part 2 - Frenchman Peak
Переглядів 813 роки тому
We decided to tackle Frenchman Peak in Cape Le Grand, near Lucky Bay. It's actually not that difficult at all - maybe a half hour up? However with three potentially sooky kids, it was always going to be risk! It's not that they aren't physically up for it - they are all really fit and active - it's just that they embrace any opportunity for a whinge and a sook some days. Anyway - we made it up ...
Lucky Bay - Part One

We were lucky enough to score a last minute booking for a site at Lucky Bay, at Cape Le Grand just east of Esperance. We stayed three nights at this iconic bay.
Crabbing at Heron Point, Western Australia
Переглядів 1,4 тис.3 роки тому
Blue Swimmer Crabs - GET IN MY NET! This was so much fun - oh, and terrifying as well - so maybe 'thrilling' might be the better word to describe the activity? We had never been 'crabbing' before, so this was all a learning experience for us. Thanks to our friendly campsite neighbours who loaned us the gear and provided advice. This is definitely an activity we would recommend! And only about a...
Fishing at Membinup, Western Australia

Finally, a successful day's fishing on the southern coast of Western Australia! Just east of Esperance, we had a great few days at a magical spot, nestled in behind the dunes at Membinup Beach. This place was just perfect!

We in Europe ❤ Tasmania !!!
I especially loved how you bag everyone out for being dangerous and food. Then you put your son out on a charcutery board for them. Not once but twice. IDIOT'S
Love it guys ,keep it going from tazzie in Sydney
Hi guys. Which month did you visit Kakadu?
It was in late August 😊
Hello ! I am FRED ROSSITER, I LIVE in BRAZIL
It’s not croc-infested, it’s their home!
Number1 tip for the snow fields don’t eat the yellow snow 👍
Bahahahhahaa 😂
Where’s the pFDs?
Nice
Not croc infested, it’s their home! Human infested more like!
yasssssssssss💅
*promo sm* ☺️
You've certainly got some beautiful places down there in Tassie, and a few nuts 😛 too. 🙂
I remember when we filmed this video
May I know the filming date?
21 July 2023
Great video/videos. When can we expect the next one? Perhaps in the snow??? 😁
Ah the Austrailan version of Errie Indiana and Disney's most popular series, Gravity Falls.
I liked the gnomersexuals lol😂
The reason the croc had it arm out so it did not roll over in the moving water
What happens in white cliffs stays in white cliffs lol. Was there in May just gone , great mine tour isn’t it?
Ive been there. A beautiful place but bloody frightening with all those salties around.
Take your children somewhere they can be killed by crocodiles damn what idiots.
Question...why dont they just build a bridge going over river?
There some very thick poeple to sit by the edge
For every one you can’t see there is about 20 more you can’t. Spooky shit. I love crocs and gators!
Idiot lok what you type
Way too close for comfort for me!
I wonder if the boy fell to that water...what an idiot parents.
I was born in a NSW hospital with a Koori name and I spent my childhood getting bitten by a whole manner of things, however with scars to this day on my right knee even a larger goanna is a unlikely fatality. Everyone there seems to be judging the crocodile's threat by their previous behaviour ? I'm not a wild life officer but most apex predators could play chess if they had thumbs, & when around them I give a wide berth heh :)
0:42 idiot father puts his son in a dangerous situation. If the son falls into the water. The crocodile will attack him.
Sorry mate, no matter how croc wise you are, you shouldn’t risk putting your kid/s too close to the edge. Accidents do happen, just take a moment and imagine if he/she slips… you will regret your whole life. Just be extra careful ya
Some parents brains are not fully developed yet
Family is waiting for someone to slip into the pond
You'd think after all these years, they would expand the bridge to actually rise above the water 😅
Any volunteers to carry out the work?
Any bridge would not last, that part of Australia has massive monsoons during the wet season and the rivers all flood washing away roads and infrustructure.
The local native people don’t want it!
If the little boy falls he's dead eaten alive sad but true the brutal truth
No life jackets
Bring chinese tourists to that place, and they will jump into the river because they believe they are "entitled" to do it, plus they are rich..that will be fun to watch!! hahah
I'm sure they prefer white meat
@@mirandarios1093 lol, in Africa - the Nile croc is not fussy, any time any day it will meet your acquaintance and end it too😁 .. ebony or ivory.
The kid sitting on the rock gave me anxiety
They must have loads of human fatalities as most of those people standing on the edge are way to close. Plus it's massive risk crossing when water is flowing over. Crazy place.
I will never forget the time I spent with Blair. He gave me a job, a roof over my head and food in my belly. I will always remember those days being with Blair. He is such an amzing man. I cant thank him enough for all that he did for me. I just wish I could have been a better person back then and realised how good I had it with Blair. Thank you for the video I cant believe how much it has changed in the past 13 years. Miss you Blair. Benjamin Nancarrow.
I wouldnt let my kid sit there these people are stupid!!
Hi Maddie its ebony !
Maddie it’s molly j
The lake at 10:39 had water in it two weeks ago and we had to ride around the edge through the soft sand instead!
Another beautiful natural place! Such a view from up there! Great trails and fun!
Beautiful place! No crab terror this time. To have a home on top with that view would be incredible. Nice that many can call it home for a time and share it!
I'm loving your vids 🙂 but it is causing me to add more locations to my own future trip plans. 😋
Hey guys. you have brought a smile to my heart. We spent lockdown not to far from there. Give us a call and I can share a couple of ideas to upgrade the faithful herring. Simo.
Bringing back the memories. Hope you guys are well. Keep living the dream.
I'm not sure I would let my son sit on the rock...one slip and he's gone.......
Wow u noticed that
Exactly!
Was thinking that.
Yeah, noticed it too, I would die a thousand times if my boy gets that close to the Nile crocs, here....
Never smile at a crocodile :)
Hello from the US. That is a spooky place.. would not want to break down in that crossing. 😂 I have quite a few Australian channels I follow and I am following your now. You folks have a great day and stay safe.
