Hi Bethany, thank you so much for sharing your soap making studio and helpful info! I am really considering a couple of Digiboils for my hard oils, but before I take the plunge, wanted to ask if you have a Gen 1 or Gen 2? I’ve seen quite a few comments on the Gen 2 that mentioned an E 3 error and the device overheating to a dangerous level, but they were also melting waxes for candles, so I’ve been trying to find info about melting Palm & Coconut oils, which only need to be liquid and about 95-98 degrees for my recipes. Thanks in advance and your soap lab is just wonderful!!

Just my opinion! But I think your putting way too much botanicals on the tops of your soaps!
Our customers love botanicals on their soaps!! 🤍
We also put more on our soaps like this, because after the cutting process is said and done, a lot of the botanicals fall off! Plus when taking them too and from popup events, a bar of soap will lose petals over time and to ensure the soaps look their best, for as long as possible, we have found that starting with more has worked best for us :)

Enjoyed the tour of your place…. I’m fairly new to soaping and if I could ask a question about the bakers rack and pans…please correct me if I’m wrong - but I thought with the plans being aluminum that I couldn’t use them to cure? Everything that I’ve watched says that there would be a reaction from the lye/aluminum. Because I would like to use the bakers rack and especially the pans with the small holes in them to cure soaps. Can you set this girl straight. Thank you

I'm curious about your Pizza Dough soap molds. How did you think to use those and is that what you started out with or did you "graduate" to those?
Hi Hollie!! Great question! We needed something to scale our soap making. We loved the size of our bars. They aren’t tall and skinny nor are they short and fat they are an in between size. I couldn’t find in any slab mold on the market that would allow us to keep the same size. We came across these and the sizing worked so we went with it!
