Yes you can redo, but make sure to use appropriate BMS and also use double protection to detect Over voltage, under voltage,cell voltage imbalance, over temperature, short circuit, over current.
What are the tools and chemicals that are used?
I think that was plain ol coconut oil the other stuff is some kind of epoxy of fiberglass resin and the tool was a dremel if you get the big kit you get loads of attachments super handy for anything you can think of
14 amps.. easier to buy a tractor battery from walmart.
We could stack up a group of 3cells in single compartment to increase the capacity.

How can I use arduino to monitor 12v valence batteries? I currently rigged up rs485 to usb. Can I use a voltage divider, along with 4module relays?
Sorry I don't have enough info on valence batteries. But voltage can be measured with voltage divider. But why do you need relay module?
VU3PYN just a thought that I might need relays.
For better isolation with Battery and Monitoring device(PC/Laptop/LCD), you may think of wireless mean, ex. Esp8266 with arduino. Configure WiFi device as HTTP Client to poll data to your monitoring device(PC/Laptop..).

What experience have You made with the BAK H18650CIL cells?
So far soo good. No Regret. The quality depends from where we source. More chances of getting fake cells. So beaware :-)

If you connect 3 18650 cells in series (+__- +__- +__-)you can achieve 12.6v Max.
How Many amps totaly ?
Each cell is 2400mah 2C capable and I have connected only 6cells so 6x2.4 = 14.4amp at 1C & 28.8 at 2C

MOSFET should drive the 12v bike starter relay. No issues I have faced till now. Is the interface correct ? Arduino to MOSFET to Relay. Use a freewheeling diode connected across the Relay Coil, use opto based isolation, the board I have used in the video has opto isolation between MOSFET and Arduino. @VU3PYN 60 amp fuse or 200 amp fuse?
200amp, I didn't had 200amp with me hence used 60amp. Using 60amp will allow only few welds and the fuse opens. So please use 200amp.

Three 3.7v cell in series = 11.1v How do you figure it’s a twelve volt battery?
3.7v is the Nominal Voltage, At full charge each cell will be 4.2v. So 4.2v x 3 cell in Series = 12.6V.
VU3PYN Well the usual practice is to use the nominal voltage as the stated battery’s voltage. 18650’s are marked and said to be 3.7 volt batteries. Just say’n...your mileage may vary.
My idea was to use this pack in place of regular 12v Lead Acid battery and to power up 12v rated equipments, 3S is the only li- ion combination which works :-)
