I have the Neo Noe DE as well, I did notice the canvas feels as you described. I'm glad to know it's normal, it's one of my favorite bags.

TFS your experiences with taking the bags for evaluation. It seems that at least they heard your concerns. Question? Did they log any of their assessments in their data base or your purchase history? I’ve only had one repair done to an LV preloved Macao for hardware replacement, wristlet hardware & two zipper pull replacements. They did an excellent job & seemed to have cleaned all hardware too because it’s now sparkling. They quoted me 4-6 weeks for repair. It took about 6 weeks from quote to receiving back my pouch. ❤️

All of your concerns would be mine too. Even if the bags were $100 I want perfection 🥰

I got the original bumbag probably 5 years ago and it’s still one of my most used bags. I love everything about it. I saw the new style in store the other day and did a double take. The vachetta around the zipper makes no sense and I’m sorry but it’s just… not attractive . The flatness will also make it harder to use. Such an odd decision by LV. I’m glad you’re keeping the OG!

I'm glad I saw this because I plan on getting a mini bumbag this weekend...and I'm gonna examine it like a HAWK before I purchase it AND after using it. Now I wanna go examine my other LV bags/straps. Hopefully no popped stitches ugh. That's annoying. I'd also have been annoyed with the SA, they seemed rude.

I think the loose stitch on the new strap is where the thread ends. Yours is just a little long, that’s why it sticking out a bit more. They’re usually on one end of the strap because that’s where the thread starts. I have one small one on my empreinte bumbag on one end. If you run your finger over it it may feel kind of hard because that’s where they harden it or burn the end so it doesn’t unravel. The pop stitch on your first strap though is definitely not right though. That’s a defect, and not caused at all by wear!

I’ve never owned an LV bag before, but I see them all the time, and the canvas usually has a bit of a shiny look. The one in the store, though, seemed really dull. Could anyone help me figure out how the new canvas (like the one in the video) is supposed to look?
