Thank you so much for this video! I just started Wegovy on Monday morning and it is now Wednesday. The first day I felt "off" and definitely not hungry at all. However, I wasn't experiencing any headaches or nausea. Well... yesterday (Tuesday) and today (Wednesday) I am extremely fatigued and nauseas and have had slight headache. However, I really want to continue with Wegovy and you have truly motivated me to hang in there! You look amazing and you are so inspiring!

More physical activities include swimming, boxing and martial arts for me

When I joined the military, I Iost so much weight in basic training. Afterwards, I struggled with maintaining expected BMI. It didn't matter if I ate low calorie and worked out 6 days a week. I would fail fitness tests for having too high BMI, even if I met all other standards. Now I suffer from sleep apnea, and the VA blames that on my weight gain. I work a physical job, and eat very minimal amounts of sweets. I drink soda, and eat zero candy. I've recently replaced soda with iced tea. If Wegovy delivers as it promises, I believe I can add many years to my life.

Same as you, my bloodwork is perfect but I have always had a big belly that exists even after a tummy tuck! It's so frustrating. I'm active, I eat right, save for some junk on Saturdays (but not a binge). I hit 40 and shot up 20 lbs and it will not budge 😢

Just watched two of your videos on wegovy. I took my first injection yesterday. I'm so thrilled my insurance approved it! I'm a man, 61, and was last reasonably fit at 55. I'm now 290 lbs and have been totally depressed about my new inability to lose weight with any real success. So I'm really excited about having some help by wegovy. Should I expect any loss in the first month on the low dosage? Lastly, I judge you to be........AWESOME.

I wish I could’ve stayed on this, it was really helping me to lose weight and not feel hungry. But I had to come off of it because of the severe acid reflex and because of the severe constipation. I hung in there for two months but then I had to stop😢😢😢

Bravo! I have struggled with my weight for decades. I am only slightly taller than Tom Cruise and I have always been 25 to 60 pounds above my goal weight. I've tried weight watchers, keto, and a modified keto counting calories diet, which actually was the most effective. I recently had a discussion with my new General practitioner and she has started me on Ozempic. I believe that I will have great success because I already know that a higher protein diet along with controlling carb intake works. I play pickleball 4 to 5 times a week and use light weights to maintain muscle mass. This video give me hope because I am in the same exact boat as you were. 1200 calories per week and controlling carbs only got me part of the way to my overall objective. Thank you!

Hello from Italy. I found you by chance and it struck me as I am in exactly the position you were in when you started. I am 57 and share all the situations you mentioned with exercise, menopause, thyroid, overweight... Anyway, Wegovy is now on the market in Italy (since 1st July) and after all the medical checks my endocrinologist prescribed it and I will be taking the first shot on Sunday,. In the meantime I have been researching. I am a bit scared of side effects and how they will impact my overall active and quite social life.
