Dad loves his socks ❤🎉and I love my vetterkind gnome ❤🎉
💕💜 I am so glad
Thank you. You saved me from messing up the sewing up of the ribbed area on a baby hat.😂
My pleasure! Glad it was helpful:)
That turned out amazing and the drills are spectacular! Thanks for sharing❤
Thank you very much 😊
❤
Hope you are feeling more spoonful and thank you for a honest view of "stuff". My best friends son was late diagnosed as autistic at 18 it explained a lot of his struggles but he found at times it difficult to accept. The spoons sounds like the bucket 🤔 every living thing has a bucket and every event adds to the bucket some bad things add lots some good thing can help slow the filling but everything needs to rest and sleep & selfcare to empty the bucket enough for the next day & their adventures. ❤
My pleasure. Thank you for your lovely comment and for sharing of yourself too. An autism can be a mixed bag as a diagnosis! Amazing to explain all the struggles one has experienced but also frustrating to know that one has to accept those difficulties. I love your bucket analogy too, very true.
So interesting, beautiful and vulnerable....Thank you Diella...You inspire me. I cam relate to feeling like a failure due to my lower capacity than most!
You are so welcome!
Such a cute sheep. I'm from that Hippy era. Great canvas.
If that a 40 x30 cm what the hell did i order a 50×70 cm
Hehe well there's just more fun for you 😁
Thank you for this tutorial. I was wondering, what do you do when the slip stitches are at the gusset decrease?
My pleasure. I have another video which I made after getting the same question earlier in the year. Hope it helps 😁ua-cam.com/video/CHuoZK5BquA/v-deo.html
Thank you for sharing the day with us!
Thank you for organising such a lovely event 😀💜
Came over thanks to a tip from Denise @earthtonesgirl podcast. Thank you for this!!!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and welcome 😁
I can't wait for your helical tutorial. I'm eager to try the technique, but a a newer knitter a bit hesitant due to the possible challenges I might need to figure out.
Love the softer colours, but my favourite is the "oil spill" 😲🤣will wait to see how they turn out, I'm sure they will be amazing. The night colour reminds me of a winters clear midnight sky with sparkling stars ✨💖
Thank you so much! Oh the image of a sparkling sky is lovely ✨😁
Sorry about it being solid 😂
Haha no worries always good to have a challenge 😉
🎉❤
💜
Sure.
I don't know your channel. I don't do diamond art. I was watching face painting videos. I have no idea why rhis video popped up. As someone who doesn't know anything about diamond painting, I almost had an aneurysm trying to read the title of this video. However, it's been very interesting.
Oh my goodness haha I can imagine this would be a wild title for the uninitiated! Thanks for watching anyway, I'm glad it was interesting 😁
These are all nice sizes! I love love love the dragon! I need him in future for sure! I’m curious to see how the fairy one will turn out with drill placement. She’s more detailed but due to smaller size and also the reverse printing making it hard to see clearly. Enjoy them! I’m looking forward to the post reviews of course! 😘 xx ❤
Thank you so much friend 💜
How did your order work? I ordered one but don't know how to send in the photo
Hey :) I send the Evermoment company a direct message with my image in it. I found the option to direct message them on their store front page
I have completed the little dragon, and it is brilliant. Really fun to do.
Oh wow that's awesome! Thank you so much.
New subscriber. Have you ever done and submitted artwork and then have it charted all wrong? I absolutely love your little dragon.
Hello and thank you for the Sub. I have had one or two where I wasn't over the moon with the charting but thankfully most of them have been amazing! :D 🐲
@@elliementalist6716 that’s great!
Hi, your diamond paintings are beautiful and pretty. Thanks for showing us Ohso haul, I love the company very much.. ❤❤❤
Aw thank you so much! I can't wait to kit up and give these kits a proper try. But I think that I am going to love the company too!
AB's are now standard with all of our kits. We exclude AB's for people/animal etc customs, but artwork all include AB's, and we have an option of Fairy Dust drills now too 😀.
Thank you so much for clearing that up 💜
A beautiful bouquet 🌹, both if them 💖
Thank you so much!
Why do you feel you have to use tweezers with square drills? Lots of people use their dp pens with square drills.
Thank you. I have tried using a pen but I find I need to use tweezers to place a checkerboard and then fill in with a pen. I have tried using a pen only but I couldn't get them straight and I hurt my wrist trying to turn them.
Yes
She came out so gorgeous! I think the cat's eyes are just a victim of the size of the canvas. That's the annoying part of diamond painting unfortunately 😅 My first Evermoment is in transit to SA at the moment (ordered it back in June, but only had it shipped at the beginning of the month), so I really enjoyed the EM review. Now I know what to expect!
Thank you so much! I just saw your post about your EM on Steffys group 😁 hope you enjoy it.
@@elliementalist6716 yes! They suprised me with an early delivery. I actually only expected it on Monday (not complaining of course 😂). I'm tempted to move it to the front of the "to do list" but I'm also sort of in the middle of four canvasses with a them, so also don't want to interrupt that process. Ah the joys of having too many diamond paintings and too little time 🤣
There will always be some trash drills, if this is only what you’ve got, that is really good. Some people use them, but I just can’t. It’s the only thing unsee every time I look at it I see the hole in it lol😂 so I often have a lot of trash drills. Usually companies gives around 10% extra (it’s based on weight, not actual numbers). Even with the really expensive companies like Diamond art club I have trash drills. Some gapping is normal and needed. The glue will shrink over time and without the gapping the drills will just pop off (really annoying, my first ever did so I had tho throw it away in the end). To make it less noticeable I find it really helpful to use a straightener tool on my drill pen. Every section I run it between the drills I’ve placed (I work in 10x10 cm sections), both horizontally and vertically, and roll it really well after so it won’t move much anymore. I’ve seen people use some mica powder or eyeshadow over it to hide the darker lines or gaps between drills, but I never have done that or felt the need to. From a distance you can’t really see them.
Thank you so much for the tips :D I agree from a distance it's not very noticeable :D
Some of the symbols (like the top part of the head and the blue of the glasses) almost make it look like it is printed for round, had to look twice to see it isn’t 😅😂
Yes you're right :)
Lovely post review my friend! I agree with tge cat’s eyes and how you changed it. Unfortunately beautiful details get lost the smaller the size of the rendered canvas goes. That’s why I have too big canvases which are now too heavy to hang on the wall. So they look great in their storage hey! 🤭🙈 I love the flowers’ rendering and the pinks and purples. That’s very little trash! Fantastic to see. Love & hugs, xx ❤
Thank you so much. I know what you mean such a catch 22 for choosing sizes!
It turned out lovely, especially the swirls 😍
Thank you! Yes my fav :D
Absolutely gorgeous Ellie 🎉
Thank you!
I am new to your channel and that canvas is so cute! I have not purchased any Ever Moment. i May have too!
Thank you very much. Evermoment is my go-to company to use for having customs printed of my own art :d I really like their quality to price.
Love the painting 😊
Aw thank you so much
I love watching your diamond painting videos I've never done a diamond paint art in my life❤
Aw thank you so much! :D
Thank you Thank you Thank you !!! I couldn’t wrap my head around how to do this and this video has totally helped!!!
Aw I'm so glad to hear that it helped! You're most welcome i
🐞 I really liked your presentation of these trays..if I were in the market..I would try the first one because of the shape ..it looks interesting.. Thanks.for sharing!!
Thank you very much for the feedback! I appreciate it. Yes the first one is a very nice one :) after having used it for a few weeks I'd still recommend it 😁
I like the first one and the narrow ended lilac one both seem very useful. 😍👍
I agree, I am enjoying those two very much!
New here, when to allexpress, looked at ever moment page, didn't see anywhere to add a photo to make into diamond art,
Hi ☺️ welcome :) what I do is I message the Evermoment company with a direct message and send them the image I want to print and ask them for a sample image of how it will look at the size I want (40*50cm for example) and whether I want rounds or squares. If I am happy with what they send back then i go to the listing that I want to purchase and I purchase it and they already have the image. I hope that makes sense
You can also ask them what size they think you should do if you’re not familiar with the sizes. I sent a pic of my hubbys favorite car. I asked them for what size would work best and the company sent me the image in 3 different sizes and the prices. I was able to see what it would look like in the different sizes and picked the best one for me. They are very easy to work with and their quality is excellent. I have ordered 3 from evermoment and they are superb. Good luck to you!
@millieann13 thanks, much appreciated the info, I was have to do that
🐞 love the colors!!
Thank you very much 😊
Loving the swirls in her hair and shirt 😍
Thank you so much! I have started this canvas and those are totally my favourites to work on. The swirls were rendered so we'll.
New here
Thank you for subbing, welcome ☺️🌸
Looking forward to seeing them unveiled 👍 thank you for not speeding up, nice to see how long pouring really takes 🤔
Aw thank you so much, and I appreciate knowing if people like it sped up or not. I am getting a little quicker at my pours now that I have a bit more experience but they do generally take me around 40 minutes from when I start mixing the resin to when I have finished.
🐞 New subscriber here...really fun to watch..thanks for sharing
Thank you very much for the lovely comment and for the sub !
Oe this is so exciting! I always love seeing what one of my images looks like turned in to a diamond painting so I imagine its even more thrilling when you draw then yourself. I really like that Evermoment tells you whether a size will work for an image or not. There are so many shops that just print it regardless of whether the size is suitable. Looking forward to seeing your progress 🙃
Thank you so much! Yes it really is an exiting process :D And yes I TOTALLY agree, it's much nicer to have a company suggest an optimal size. If I really wanted 30x40 I could have cropped it and sent it to them again but it's so much better than getting something that looks squished or bad. Thanks again :D
Welcome to the messy rabbit hole of mica powders, inclusions, and molds!
Haha thank you! 😄
Hiya. Just found your channel and I look forward to watching you grow with working with resin. Welcome to the crazy world of NEEDING everything mould you see lol. A quick bit of advice is not to use the things you got for mixing your resin with, for mixing the resin. The shape of the silicone part isn't going to allow you to scrape all around the inside of the mixing pot to make sure you have the resin mixed thoroughly and to make sure you don't get any unmixed sections in your finished piece. You can get silicone stirring sticks as well as using plastic, reusable popsicle sticks or even cocktail stirrers. I wouldn't recommend using the mixing pots as actual moulds either as they can have the measurements on the inside and will leave that embedded on the finished piece. I have lots of advice I could give you here, but it would take too long lol. You could come check out some of my videos and hopefully, there is some useful stuff to learn from them lol. All the best and good luck with your new adventure, Diane x
Oh my goodness thank you so much for your advice. That makes a lot of sense RE stirring and not getting it all mixed. Thanks again!
Looks interesting, I think a visit to a beach for some tiny shell collecting used with blue sparkles would make lovely coasters 🐚 would real petals or flowers work ? New hobbies or artworks are exciting 😀
Thank you so much! Yes I should try make my way to a beach soon. Great minds think alike .. I've already started drying some flowers 😁
😍🌸💮🪷🏵️🌹🥀🌺🌻🌼🌷🪻
It all looks really good. Can't wait to see what you're going to make with it all 😀 If you think the hairpin is too square, you can use a dremel to shape it into how you want it and then "paint" it with a layer of resin to restore the smooth surface. Also, if you want to, you can use the measuring cups to make something more three-dimensional with a focus on the content. I know it wouldn't function, like a coaster, but I think it could still be very pretty having a cylinder with things like flower in it. Although I don't know if that would be considered a deep pour...
Thank you for the lovely comment. I'm not sure if I could top coat the hairpin as the resin is actually very runny. However I can sand it (I bought sanding paper which goes down to 6000 grit) and then polish it so that could definitely work. And husband has a Dremel 😊😊 Ooh I love your idea of casting some things in the measuring jugs. I am pretty sure they would count as a deep pour if I poured them all at once but I would maybe pour it in layers. Definitely something to experiment with 😁
You wouldn't need a think coat, just a very thin coat. I've seen videos with other resin workers doing this, and it seems like a much easier way of restoring the shine to the surface than sanding. Ah, yeah. I hadn't even thought about pouring in layers. That would probably be possible. It would also allow you easier layer the items you want to encase in the resin.
Oh thank you for that. I'll look into it.
I love this painting. It looks fab ❤
Aw thank you so much 😊
