Great performance. All real. Who cares about a little sharp or flat in a performance like this one? ....I say this as a proud King County, WA Resident. Brandi is one of those great artists: she displays her influences, but always puts forward her own voice and personality, and also displays an absolute love of music. So gratifying.

Been a long time since I’ve heard a great drum solo.
Surprisingly, Brandi has a very long career and I didn't know about her because the music industry just wants to give us untalented pop artists. I knew about her because at the end of a movie (The Sweet Life) a song of hers plays and I loved it so much that I looked for it in Shazam. Since then I keep listening to her wonderful music. Super singer and songwriter; better human being. I love her with all my being. I hope to see her perform live one day.

I have a very vague memory. I was maybe 2 or 3 yrs old. I remember being in a dark club, smell of cigarettes, cigars, and whiskey. All the women wanting to take their turn holding me, saying, “You see your Daddy playing the drums.” I remember feeling so proud at such a young age.

New fan, she is something special!
Even with the less-than-stellar sound here, she is quickly becoming my favorite female singer. I actually put her on a level with Linda Ronstadt, and that is saying a lot! I know, everyone says Adel, but Brandi just kills it with these covers in a way I am not sure Adel could do. I have only started listening to her about 6 months ago, and with each new song I discover I am more impressed!
kevin zimmerman she is a multitalented, almost freakishly gifted singer. check out their old, obscure cover of Highway to Hell..they can cover anything. Zeppelin, Joni, Orbison, Cline, Elton, Sting, Sienaed, Cash, Willie, Parton, Emmylou, Jones, Eagles, Beatles, George Michael, Fleetwood, Stevie, Radiohead....etc....she can sing anyone.
And she is beating those conga drums too?! Since the Grammys I have become a a Superfan!!! She can write and she play and sing Anything!!!!
