Misconceptions About Biodiesel
Переглядів 1796 років тому
Went to a trade school where we made 40-80 gallons of bio diesel at a time and would run a dodge 12 valve off of it after going through the steps of getting it to run off of biodiesel that had almost 250,000 original problems and had no major failures after running it.

Stop Wasting Money on Alignments!!

    My 3rd brake light works on my 2007 Tacoma. I can turn the switch on and off from the scan tool. My fuses are fine. My bulbs work. It’s not the switch.

    I watched a video a few years ago made by cbc market place I believe and the test of regular premium and supreme gas is not any different and do not help any vehicles with power or fuel mileage. It’s another big scam to take your money. Same as oil changes every 5000 miles is not needed as test showed the oil to have the same viscosity as new.

    • @bounce12
      @bounce12 6 місяців тому

      In saying that if you’re working your vehicle hard like a Taxie or plow/tow truck then it’s different. But the average person that drives to work and home then probably a Sunday drive can and should change it at 10,000 miles if your rig is not burning any oil that is!!

    Great video. And great advice. I would like to add that the pcv valve is a critical part that most always gets overlooked when we give our vehicles a tuneup. If a pcv valve stops working, it will suck oil into the combustion chambers an will burn oil. This will eventualy lead to clogging ur catalytic converter/s. If u havent changed ur pcv valve then its time to do so.

    It doesn’t matter if the water is clean it needs to be without minerals! That’s why every manual since 1982 that you need to use distilled water.

      You also need to address the solution additive, a radiator flush, that you need to have involved included.

    Just FYI. Be sure you always use the Bosch spark plugs with the R in the number. Those are resistor styles spark plugs. That is the only kind of spark plug that will make a VW Beetle run at its best.

    Brings back memories. I had an '83 Toyota 4X4 pickup with the horn issue. I fixed mine using a similiar size thin washer behind the contact ring as a shim to bring the contact ring furthur out. Ahh the days of DIY fixes with no air bags.

    It actually how not do it. Drain bolts from engine block not removed, engine coolant portion was not drained. Portion from secondary heater is also not drained (Highlander has second rear one). Then regular water with all minerals was introduced in place of distilled water. Then water can not be drained so it not only dilutes coolant, but it dilutes it with minerals containing water not known acidity. And then finally coolant used is not what toyota recommends for aluminum engines (OAT technology and so on). Obviously toyota sells the correct stuff, but it is not only correct brand. As a result it will work somehow, but will shorten otherwise good equipment life. Guys, don't do it this way!

    you need to make sure that your throttle is open when you test the compression. Mine was showing 90 and it was closed. I opened throttle to allow some airflow and it jumped to 120.

    Since I bought my 2005 TRD Sport 4x4 Access cab 4.0 6M Taco only 1 thing has effected the mileage and that is the tires. I switched from the crappy Hankook ATM to a Michelin and got almost 1 mpg. NOTHING else mattered. Accelerate hard or gentle…no difference. Changed the 70 thousandths gap old plugs, even switched everything to synthetic….nothing. Mileage is still shit. That being said there is NO WAY in hell I am going to dive 60, I would rather keep my man card than save $1. Premium where I get gas is about $8 a thank more so that is certainly not worth it.

    Hey kid if you have a 4x4 Tacoma or any other 4x4 vehicle please don't use different sizes of tires you got to keep same sizes back and front of your 4x4 vehicle if you don't want to ruin your transfer case please 😡😠🤚🤟👋

    There's a pretty simple trick to get the drum off. On the backing plate there's an adjustment hole that you can use to stick a screw driver in there and back off the auto adjustment so that the shoes contract back off the drum surface. You can then pull the drum right off. If that doesn't immediately work, you put a couple of nuts in the holes provided on the face of the drum and tighten those up - they'll hit the surface behind the drum and force it off. There's plenty of videos on UA-cam to show what I'm talking about. Or you could read the service manual - it's all detailed in there too.

    I just got a '97 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and haven't used the feature yet, but it's my understanding that it can also be used to propel the truck forward even if the engine is not running. You can put it in gear, engage the switch, turn the starter and the starter will drive the truck forward until it starts the engine, all with no backward movement.
