In the new v3.0 update to my Unreal Engine 5 Dynamic Stylized Sky & Weather System, I have added sound effects for ambience and weather, the ability to get and set time based on a more intuitive clock-time, setting weather, smooth time and weather changing during runtime, vastly improved stylized wind lines, as well as various bugfixes. You mean crafting the environments themselves? I honestly don't have much good, I just look around at games like Genshin, made the art, and then tried to make things similar.

Is that possible to change day time in sequencer?
Yeah you can use the SetTime function
Shouldnt the sound be a bit delayed depending on the distance
There's probably some way to incorporate that using the sound systems, but I'm not familiar with how, and also I've noticed most games honestly don't have sound propagation. It's easier for players to identify when something happens if they hear it immediately (like gunshots.) The lightning strikes that play sounds only ever strike within a few hundred meters, so the delay would be negligible anyway

Interestingly enough, if I could have ripped them, I never would have made any of these. The reason I made them in the first place is I couldn't figure out how Genshin created their art, so I had to recreate them haha

Are we going to see dynamic ground effects with this as well?
I considered things like footprints, but I think that is getting a bit too per-project specific. Like I have no idea if a person is playing as humanoids, animals, vehicles, etc
What size is the terrain before building anything? Looks massive
I forget the exact size, it's honestly not super huge but it's definitely a long walk!

After updating an asset it updates in your vault. Not your project. This means you have to import the update into your project afterward and let it overwrite. So if you made any changes make sure to document them or move things outside of the folder structure

Hope you enjoy the new free update <3 If you don't like any of the sounds it's very easy to swap them out for your own or disable them entirely! My main goal was getting the sounds implemented via code as a good starting point, and now you can easily just change the variables to any sounds of your choice :)
i have the asset its done wonders for me. i however don't see how to get the audio files in the pack
im also confused on howd you set up the dynamic part as it seems multiple tracks arent playing
@@phoenixnation7015 That's weird, have you tried Remove Local Content on the asset in your Vault and re-download? There should be a Sounds folder now

Too much bass in the thunder. It sounds more like a drum than thunder.
I'll keep that in mind and work on the mix a bit more! It's still not finished, I was currently testing the crossfades to get the more "distant" sounding strikes. Also keep in mind it probably won't be striking and overlapping this crazy :P

What about logic for foilage? Is it possible to add gameplay logic so I can cut down the trees?
I don't have anything set up like that at the moment, that would probably have to be hand-crafted to fit the specific needs of your project! There are some options for painting blueprints instead of foliage, and I've seen some tutorials out there for interacting with foliage like that. I haven't specifically tested it myself
Are the clouds volumetric?
Not at all, entirely 2D! I think it looks more stylized and anime this way :) (also better performance, and no volumetric rendering artifacts!)

The ground is the MI_Landscape, it should be in the pack!

Newb needing some help here. I cant seem to get the 3d grass to show up when I paint. Its simply green with some 2d grass lines. Did you use the foliage Mode?
Nevermind got it to work, I was using the Master Material for the Landscape and not the MI and it fixed it. Not sure how but it did. I'm super impressed with your Environment build will def get the Second one when its time.

You can technically go as high as you want, but things start to get weird if you go too crazy
