Reno Nevada Is The Perfect Place To Move Your Business | Insider Tips and Advice
For Italian food, try the halfway club. It’s old and in a shady part of town but the food is amazing. Sparks Coffee shop has excellent breakfast if you can get into the door the line is usually so long. Carlillos Cocena has fabulous home style Mexican breakfast and lunch and probably the best Chorizo you will ever eat. Birtha Maranda’s is the spot for a great Mexican dinner. They use family recipes passed down for generations and the food is exquisite. Dad’s Tacos has some of the best Biria tacos you could eat but they are very expensive in my opinion. Still a great place to get some delicious tacos if you got the coin to splurge a little. I personally like the smaller hole in the wall places over the fancy ones. Usually the atmosphere is is less uptight, the food is more authentic, and you get a better value overall. Being a Reno native born and raised, I could give you a long list of great spots that people sleep on simply because they don’t know about them or the place doesn’t look great from the outside. Don’t sleep on these couple of recommendations and try some of the other little hole in the wall places. You will be quite pleasantly surprised.
@@damienmidanik9680 thanks so much for commenting and please comment a list of place. We never have enough great options. Thanks!

Solid list, for sure. My absolute favorite breakfast/brunch spot is The Shore in the Renaissance hotel downtown. Everything on their menu is elevated in a way that only a truly well-trained chef can do. Fantastic atmosphere, too. Absolutely the best breakfast, brunch, and lunch in Reno, no question.
101 Taiwanese, Arario, The Shore, Liberty downtown, and Gordon Ramsay’s Fish and Chips are the ones I have to hit on every visit.
We purchased in Wingfield about two years ago, right next to Eagle Hawk. We absolutely love it here. There are many trails to walk on, lots of little parks nestled in the neighborhoods, nice elementary schools… I could go on.
@@ebeth55 that’s awesome And thanks for commenting.

@@jessemorrow3695 I have not but will give it a shot. Nice suggestion. Thanks.
Glad this popped up on the feed. We have a lot of the same favorite spots lol. 100% on the steakhouses. BBQ is a legit issue here, I cant believe there aren't better options. I know you guys cant cover everything so maybe a part 2 is needed! Maybe with Bars. Cocktails is one thing Reno does extremely well for the demographic. Death and Taxes, Chapel, 1864 Tavern, Press Start and Rum Sugar Lime just off the top. I'm not local but the best places we've been to =>(I went a little nuts). Great vibe, best burgers and surprisingly good wings. Not sure there's a better combo than Royce's. Kwok's is TINY but some of the best Chinese food around. Anna's by the VA hospital has excellent tacos and cocktails. Another place with a great vibe is Dopo Pizza. The Kitchen Table is newer that we liked a lot. If you can catch Barrio's Food truck on the weekends. He flies in from Vegas. He serves up "Mexican Smash Burgers' and they are incredible. Usually posts up at Filthy McNastys which, totally fine if that's your crowd, we just go for the burgers.

Great list gentlemen. I had hoped for a new spot, but happily settled for a great list of Reno favorites. Like to throw Estella at the Jesse on 4th into the mix. Great bar and phenomenal tacos (non-traditional). Also a strong nod to Von Bismark German on Wells.

If your really from Reno? Then Reno and Sparks are the same city. I've been here over 40 years. If it works, it works. I've always went to Jack's coffee shop. I've been here so long, Jack himself would come and sit at the table and start asking how is everything. He was a decent guy, and was a damn shame when he died.

I appreciate your opinion but anyplace that has managed to be open as long as LuLu's is doing something right.
Ok, so I’m from N Tahoe and went to RHS. I’ve been in and out of Reno since high school and traveled the world. I’m old enough to know and have dined at places like Columbos, Adele’s and Famous Murphy’s -back when Reno REALLY did have good food on lockdown and why the current restaurant culture in Reno leave a LOT to be desired. La Famiglia used to be a great one and I chose there for a date night recently, and though it had been a while, I thought it would be a sure thing. Unfortunately the food was less than impressive both in taste and presentation. Will not be returning. I also think it’s funny that your boy here pumped the escargot at Boujalaise, “exactly what you get when you go to France” yet he admits to never having had escargot before… has he been to France?? I have and I’m not stoked on the food at boujalaise. It’s a killer location but the food (like most “good” places in reno) is over priced for the quality, inconsistent and mediocre at best. I feel you left out some really great places (for Reno) that are far better served being on this list. Food for thought.
I appreciate the comment and remember this is a real estate channel and not a food channel so we are just giving our opinions and neither of us had been to France. What are your go to spots?

Supply and demand. It's so boring it's painful. Low multi decade supply means high prices until supply catches up... from a workforce with less tradesman. I don't forsee this getting better for decades. I think small manufactured homes are going to make a comeback but be way more stylish... some of them are looking really impressive.
