    How did you manage to safely mount the lead screws on your end effector? If I´m not mistaken, shaft coupling can only transfer torque, not axial force caused by gripping objects. Do the leadscrews fall out from shaft couplings or not?

      Though shaft couplings are meant to transfer torque, the shaft couplings are quite strong, and the friction is enough to support the axial force. The leadscrews don't fall out.

    If you could write software to make this (or something like it) into a household robot that would come out at night and clean up and tidy a house - you could get richer than bill or elon put together.

    I love watching how you are improving each design for greater efficiency and reliability. Because a remote robot on Mars, has to be robust against weather, and foreign matersuch as silt, dust, sand and mud, clay.

    You did a great job!! I wish you all the best for URC. If you want another challenge after URC, check out the Anatolian Rover Challenge and try Mars and Moon missions in July. ARC is compatible with URC and ERC rovers, and covers accommodations of your team in Istanbul, Turkey! Arc applications due May 20th. As the ARC team, we look forward to your application to ARC

Mars and Moon missions with a unique story! Anatolian Rover Challenge (ARC) is in July 21st-25th. The ARC is compatible with the URC and ERC rovers.
