Figured I'd chime in with M3 Pro MBP, 36GB RAM, latest version of crossover didnt seem to see any kind of memory leak over the few straight hours i played but that could just be it takes much longer with more RAM or perhaps 16GB isnt enough if the GPU ends up wanting to grab like half of that to do anything Only setting that was changed from the default of all high was disabling TAA

I'm planning to buy a MacBook Pro and one of my reasons is that I don't know which processor to choose in the Pro or Max and how much memory - I think maybe at least 32 GB of memory - is there a difference in this game between the M3 Max processor with the 30 GPU and the M3 Pro with the 18 GPU? I want to understand how critical it is in games because the price differences are big

space cadet 3d pinball always had 640x480 resolution, cause it was a demo of a game called full! tint! pinball! If you want a better resolution, you can run full! tint! pinball via crossover or quemu(there is a powerpc version) instead

I tried it with macOS Sonoma ,CrossOver 24.0.4 + GPTK 2.0 (D3DMetal and MSYNC ON) m1 max + 64GB ram ,fps struggled at 15 fps and whole game will freeze after 10 or 20 minutes playing no matter my game graphic settings is MEDIUM or LOW .

this game is extremely cpu bound, likely pushing roseta to it's limits. No reason to play on such ugly graphics, it's best to increase the settings and sacrifice a little resolution and play at 30fps.

Cool to see it running, but these sorts of games definitely need a native port 😅 Looking forward to the AC Shadow port!

The crossover performance is not good for some reason and always crashes, Ryujinx is the way to go.

My M1 max 32c is running on 45-50fps in 4K without MetalFX in the opening scene. The dev really have great optimization in this one!

Nothing beats IDM. There are some websites from where nothing but IDM can download. I have to run Windows virtually to get IDM 😥
