Where can these kind of cradles be purchased?
Everything in this video is wrong and dangerous. To test a capacitor, use a multimeter with capacitance. On most multimeters over $70. Or just replace it. Also the capacitor is a storage device used to delay a phase in the motor. Google motor run capacitor if you’re interested.
Can this lift be used with a galvanized post boat house - the boat house has no wood.
The worst installation ever. Notching what it looks like the bottom chord of a truss???? really. and not installing a drum for the cable!!!!! This is a video of what not to do.

I have 5-yr old galvanized cables, and they’ve been spreading/fraying ever since they started wrapping on top of themselves a couple of years ago during uplift. After watching your video, I’m going to have a Pro replace my boat lift cables rather than wait for the problem to worsen.

That Gear is on backwards, shouldn't the fitting be on the front?

Do u recommend any particular grease gun. . Also how much psi in gun. I see they sell 7,000. And 8,000 psi guns. . WHICH do u recommend
What keeps the big main gear / cable from going down (unwinding) when the belt is off?
It's a worm drive gear. They will hold in place on their own. You can use a small rope to tie off the large drive wheel for extra caution.

You forgot the carpet
We do not recommend installing carpet on our pontoon adapters, as dirt/rocks get stuck in it and scratch the aluminum on pontoon boats
That beam near the gear plate with most of the wood notched out is now useless for carrying any load whatsoever. The lift construction looks great, but the beam really reflects poorly on your reputation. I wouldn't have shown it.
The beam with the gear plate doesn't carry any of the boats weight only the gear plate which doesn't weigh much

What about removing the existing wooden tracks for a ski boat? The wooden ski boat tracks were in the first part of the video but not in the end of the video.
Leave the V-hull adapters until the end. This helps keep the lift square. However, you do not need to remove the V-hull brackets at all as the toons will not touch them.

@@cpdewey1 We have used salt treated lumber on pontoon lifts since the 70s and never experienced this or heard any complaints. However, untreated lumber can be used upon personal preference
