Trying to build a content agency from $0
Taking you all on the way and showing my progress through out it all.
Taking you all on the way and showing my progress through out it all.
This is how I’m going to start a content agency
I was inspired by @cammeu and his series of building a content agency from $0 to $10k in a month. I have some basic knowledge in video but nothing crazy by any means. I plan on using this series to document my journey of starting my own content agency.

In this video I'll be talking about two molds from Meridian discs. The Current and Ravine. Both are in the Marbled Clarus plastic. The current is a 7,5,-1,1 and I honestly couldn't agree more. The flight reminds me of a beat in teebird3. The Ravine is a slightly overstable midrange with numbers of 5.5,0,2. I also think these are very accurate. I have been LOVING this disc. It filled a slot that...

Fun round with some friends! (Vlogmas day 2)
It Finally makes makes sense..🎉🎉. Now i understand what's going on with the throw and where the power comes from. I've watched Tons of videos but didn't get it till now. It finally clicked. Thank you!!!! It's soo clear to me now
Glad I could help!
Really appreciate this video and I was struggling with this exact issue. I am wondering if you concentrate on using the arm to start the throw, or if you use the hip motion to start the drive, or if it's simultaneous?
I personally think about my arm just a tad. Then the hips fire
I don’t think one should use the wrist at release. I find if I aim the back to my hand at 10 o’clock and try to keep my wrist from moving I get the best throws with plenty of spin. I think this makes the disc function like the end of a whip where more of that angle momentum for your body is transferred into the disc and plenty of that angular momentum is changed to rotational momentum as it rips out of your grip. (That was probably the king of run on sentences) I also flex my wrist more then you at reach back. I find I struggle to get a good power pocket if I don’t. I think this is a personal preference though.
Great explanation!!
lot of bare feet at that gym, especially on the squat rack...
Great explanation! Do you also lag your upper body when you brace the hip?
You do, but I think if there’s too much lag it can actually cause you to round a bit. Too much lag can prevent you from being able to get into the power pocket
@@TannerMcCartney makes perfect sense. Checked your slo mo's over and over again and that lag isn't even visible. I'm having troubles with brace and nose angle so definitely gonna try it out. Cheers!
@marion1600 the amount of lag will also depend on how far you are trying to throw. But it’s not has much as most people probably think.
❤❤❤
These are bad pictures
I never said they were good. I’m just trying to put myself in real life situations to gain experience. Instead of leaving a comment that has 0 value. Maybe share some ways I can improve?
Excellent tips!
Thank you!
This really is great stuff and you earned yourself a sub! Curious how you combine this with your throwing arm. Do you even think about the arm at all at this point, or is it second nature to you? If you do, what cues do you use? Many pros say that they aren't really doing anything in particular with the arm other than leaving it loose, but I wonder if that's just because they've been playing for so long that they in fact do a lot of things with their arm, but subconsciously.
I do a little bit. In a ball golf swing, when you are at peak rotation ( reach back) you almost let gravity initiate the swing. I kinda feel that same thing in the disc golf throw. My arm is pretty relaxed and it just gets pulled in a bit. Definitely takes some practice to be able to learn how to separate your arm pulling in with out your shoulders rotating.
@@TannerMcCartney Okay so you basically let the hips initiate the rotation and then you pull through, leading with the elbow when you can feel the momentum from the hips? Or do you pull at the same time as you fire your hips?
@obwan95 I try to bring my arm in just a hair before my hips fire. But it’s a very “lazy” motion. Doesn’t need to be fast or powerful in my opinion. But the arm has to come in a tad then hips fire and shoulders rotate
@@TannerMcCartney Alright, gonna have to start working on that. Thanks man!
Great tips on putting. Makes sense on the shorter putting. I was doing 100 putts a day for a month. About half way through I started jumping around to 25’ to 35’ and noticed when I putted what I thought was routine at 15’ I would miss a few and get a little frustrated. I will go back to the shorter lengths and really work in that range. Thanks!!
As a player who’s 1000 rated. I almost only practice c1 putts still to this day. I promise, after time, it WILL carry out into further ranges. Keep up the good work! And thanks for watching!
Good lord. Is that why a Pitcher puts more contact on a change up? As opposed to two fingers on a fastball? And this is literally why I now exclusively throw drives with 2 fingers (pointer and middle). It naturally lowers the nose and instantly adds distance to drives.
Yo!?!? The people in the back ground WTH. They saw you throwing walk up to the field anyway then proceed to pick your discs up and throw them. What a bunch of jerks. If they have the field for something they could have picked them up and set them down on the side not just launched your stuff back where you have no idea where they went. Cool video though. Def gonna try this out.
Yes, buy it once.
While it’s not my speed, I think it’s dope that you’re a man of faith. Also keep it up with these cinematic takes! Let the creativity flow!!!
Thanks for the kind words! I appreciate you!!
I agree and teach the same stuff! Practice making putts. I only putt 20' putts in the shop lol definitely helping. Another thing, similar to your breathing tip, is hitting those hit points/routines.
Couldn’t agree more!
Putt?? This is not golf in no form or shape.
Great tips! I will try the 15’ drill for the next couple months
Try and work in the breathing as well!
Roy G! I've been playing there a lot more lately. East Metro is so neglected these days. Great tips! I always tell my wife to start close too. She has been doing great in C1. Good to see you back after your break, you look rested!
The shade it provides is nice in this heat. Thanks very much man! I’m excited to start getting some videos out again!
@@TannerMcCartney the shade is why we go as well. Same with the content. I lost momentum the last few months, but I'm back on the horse again. Going to be caddying at World's in a few weeks too. Definitely will have a lot of stuff coming from that one!
@bigdiscenergy that’ll be awesome! Have a safe trip there!
@@TannerMcCartney gracias! RVing it up there.
Great tips bro! I have been doing a "15x15x15" putting sesh for a while now, and it has drastically improved my C1 game. 15 putts, 15 feet, 15 sets.
Nice dude! I like that format.
Steve Kerr said the same thing when they asked how he made so many 3 pointers. When he was with the Championship Bulls! He said he shoots 13-15 footers by the hundreds. Plus Eagle said the same thing.
I also think about this. I have basketball background and always think how most great free throw shooters were great 3pt shooters. It all starts in a rock solid foundation! Thanks for watching! I appreciate you!
You make great points , thanks 👍🏾
Happy to help!
We talking 350 without the disks??? 😱😱 hope your hobby treats you well. Might have to consider it down the road seems like a chill enjoyable time.
It’s a good one for sure!
Hi
def worth the money!
Proper bracing helps tremendously and turning that front hip outwards helps so much with bracing
Couldn’t agree more!
I bag a 2020 TS eMac truth for that slot. It feels great for me. I would have to feel the grip and obviously throw it to make a call on that mold, but it’s better than bagging a rare run of discs because I can lose one every now and then.
Taking so many notes from this video. In both disc golf and filming. Great stuff brother, keep it up!!
Great video brother🤙🏼
Thanks man!!
Video quality is AMAZING!
Thanks dude! Working on it!!

Come on buddy, let’s loosen up a little bit. Was a light joke.

Amazing info gonna add this to my workout session. What net is that my friend?
amzn.to/462So6q This is my afílate link. Cheers!
I’m about to play this sound on repeat to put my baby to sleep 😴
I love my Legend 3.0. I still think a Grip bag is more comfortable to carry, but everything is just so easily accessible on the Squatch. And being able to carry a lot of throwing putters and approach discs is a huge plus for me atleast.
I had a grip bag for years and felt like the straps on them barely had any padding and quickly wore out. I definitely dig the bigger shoulder straps on the squatch for sure
Squatch bags have really taken the disc golf world by storm these past few years. Probably the first true competitor that Pound has ever had. Great video bro! You make the simplest things look so cool. Keep it up!!
I agree. I love my pound and it’s still more comfortable but squatch is such a good price point. Thanks dude! I appreciate you!
Good morning sir! I’ve been trying to change my form for over a year now, I’m 52 and can throw pretty far, 400 sometimes more, but I’ve never really used my hips, just raw power. This video was super helpful. I think he described it very well, throwing the medicine ball really triggered my front hip, thanks Broham! -Mitch
What net are you using? the link in the description goes to another net :)
I must have uploaded the wrong link on accident. Link has been corrected and now matches the exact one I use in my videos. Cheers!
Revisiting this. Thanks big dawg
Happy to help bro!
Good start!
Thanks buddy!
This is so immersive, awesome work!

The is pure gold. Thank you.
Happy to help!
Every disc golf UA-camrs into is exactly the same.
kinda like wiping the butt drill but in the field and throwing, very nice!
Thank you!! Your video is timely
Thank you!
Helpful stuff, thanks! 👍
Thanks for watching!
Awesome stuff, I noticed that the speed difference was not as drastic as I maybe make it out to be between throwing putters and drivers.
It’ll look different for everyone. But I’ve realized that too fast and it’s hard for me to feel the tension in the areas I should be. Keeping it slower definitely helps me with that for now
Really good X-Step tutorial! Best of luck to you this year!
Thanks very much! Thanks for the steady support!
I just did a form video today and a content video about what I changed to get there. Lol! Talked about aiming with my lead hip for accuracy. The one thing no one says, verbally, about the "aim with your line" is that you're aiming where you want your disc to go...BEFORE it fades. That's what drove it home for me. While I was recording my last video and explaining how that dials in my accuracy...I aced. Lol! That's the best tip you can give...when you apply it, record it and get the ultimate result! 😂
Talk about the perfect example haha! That’s sick!
@TannerMcCartney and with a prototype disc I don't think anyone claims they've aced with yet. Just started releasing into production in March.
Great video bro- I especially liked the tip about slightly altering your tempo depending on which disc you are throwing. I'm pumped to hear that you'll be making more content the rest of the year. Keep it up!!
Thanks bro! Happy you are enjoying them!
