@@kevinbutler5226 car had spring spacers in the front already and air shocks when I bought it so the rims went straight on in the front. The back I had to get an adapter to stick the wheel out some from hitting the rear frame. Yes the front rubs when I turn. Just have to make a wider turn than usual but it doesn’t bother me.

@Roy_moeee niceee. I'm running the summit 1785 cam. With some reworked 416 305 heads. 1.94 and 1.5 valves. Tried to make mine a reliable torque engine since I weight 4454 with me in my wagon. Pulls pretty good. You plan on keeping her 305?

@ I almost went with that cam but I assumed it was too big for vacuum brakes or something like that I read somewhere. Yeah I plan on keep it 305 even though I have a 5.3 vortec engine sitting on my engine stand. The motor runs too good for me to take it out. It’s not fast by any means but it sounds damn good and go from point A to point B with no problems.

@Roy_moeee not at all. I'm running stock gm lockup converter. I swapped my howards cam for the 1785 cause it was to much. Pulling 14.5 inch vacuum in park and 9-8 in drive. At 500-535 idle rpm in drive fully warm. Have no issues with my brakes or the cam trying to push threw the converter. But I'm also running like 10.5 static compression on 93 and bored 40 over to 311 Cubic inch so that helps. You sound like me I rebuilt this 305 to reliable until I finish my big block but I love this lil engine so much may not take it out. At 322 rwp. I averaged 28.2 mpg best so far. Traveling from walker to br driving round br then back to walker.

@ wow that’s a lot of horsepower out a 305. I’m nowhere near close to that lol. I’ll be surprised I had 200 hp. This thing is slowwwwwwwww lol

@ it’s all good. Lights was on the car when I bought it but they’re on Amazon. If you search 4x6 red evil eye headlights they’ll come up. I’ll send you the link shortly
