hello I recommend you be very careful with this method, there are different versions of the radio software, mine also turned out to be with an error. If the manufacturer did not enable this option, it means that it does not work well. I have android auto, but I lost my voice in phone calls via bluetooth, not reversible. I am still trying to fix this problem. My version with a manufacturer error SW:A1769024100/001/14/51.10 from 25.05.2016. Please be careful

Odd, I have a 2017 A class and I can only access the Variant Code menu option when I disable log marks instead of enable which seems to be the default. Rest of the settings I follow as you described. Menu's are identical but it's a no go for me unfortunately.

Mate this is amazing!! Is there a way you can acitave the Boost gauges and dials on the a45? Unfortunately i didnt have the command option spec...but apparently its literally something like this a click on a button to activate it. Please can you take a look for me its frying my brain. 2016 a45 amg premium plus.

I have set the setting and rebooted. The AMG logo showed up. But still i see neither Android Auto nor Apple CarPlay. When having my Android Phone connected, it also doesn't recognize the car for Android Auto usage. Im using the right usb port and have connected it both via cable and bluetooth. Also i've noticed that after the reboot, the Remote UI Services, CarPlay via USB and Automotive Link via USB are all turned off again. Was anybody able to resolve this? (Mercedes A W176 2016) Thank you!

Unfortunately it didn't work. Despite carefully repeating the process up to three times, the changes are not saved. W246 2017

Pause the video at 1.56. at the bottom of the infotainment screen where it says android auto drive levels, make sure you match those numbers or this won't work. You can do it by highlighting the boxes and enter the numbers with the car keypad then set page and you're good to go.

Got the exact same car turned everything on as described on vodeo. The only thing that worked was the change of logo, it seems to not set the page to on, it just goes back to off when you check it

I would appreciate if someone advice or guide, I went into the engineering mode and activated carplay since my car is equipped with it. But as soon as I save and exit to go reboot the system I can see that the option is back to off and for as much as I keep toggling the option back on as soon as I leave the page it goes back so the carplay option never shows on my screen when I connect my phone.

For me it saves the amg logo, but carplay doesnt show up in the telephone menu

Hello. My dad got a mercedes-benz CLA with NTG 5 Stars 1 and when I got acces to the menu, I can activate Carplay but it's doesn't save. I tried to put AMG startup screen and it's worked. Did somes guys can help me ?
