In today's video we are back at Topaz with the Emira to have the new PPF checked and for additional PPF to be fitted. Topaz perform a ‘First Wash’ post PPF installation to assess the PPF and I must say they did a fantastic job and as you can see here, the car came out ‘New Again’! Do you think PPF is a good idea or would you just respray paint chipped panels?

Hi Rich, I have the same EcoAir DD128 dehumidifier and a couple of points i) To make use of cheap electricity hours (12:30am to 05:30am) I have it running from a plug-in timer which is set to be on for those 5 hours, however I have the run duration timer on the dehumidifier set to 4 hours. So, the dehumidifier comes on at half-past midnight, goes off four hours later and then onto it’s cool down for a few mins. Of course, power from the socket goes off almost an hour later - seems to work. ii) I tried using a continuous drain tube but had a few problems. Firstly, the dehumidifier needs to be raised to provide a gravity flow for the water to drain. And secondly the spigot for the tube is part of the drain pan assembly (I don’t mean the water tank). The tube was quite tight when pushing it on and in doing so I dislodged the drain pan which caused the dehumidifier to leak badly. I had to take it apart and reseal the drain pan to the main body with some watertight sealant. If you do attach a tube I would remove the water tank so you can reach the drain pan and support it as you push the tube on (you will need to manually open the little drip cut off flap), perhaps even dip the tube in a cup of boiling water for a few seconds to soften it. For a 1500 miles car it’s a flipping lot of issues, even alfa romeo or mclaren can’t reach that level of unreliability…

You mention exige 420 and 430 in this video. Im not aware of the former. Do you mean 410 as i do t recall a 420. The 430 is the cup i think.

Try using something as basic as their website. Its a total embarrassment for a car company to have something as basic as a website that doesnt work. V6's get I4 quotes, the quotes add 5k more deposit than you put in a calculator, the filtering barely works. the finance is wrong and it goes on. Its pretty much putting me off an Emira now and think il go for a Porsche. IMHO if you cant even have a working website what hope is there for the cars

Many cars will produce codes and diagnostic information at a level below what a cheap generic code reader will read. To read them you would normally buy a specialist tool. Do you know if this is the case with the Emira? And if it depends on the engine variant of the car? For example Mercedes diagnostics requires a STARS or clone/copy reader to access a lot of diagnostics info.

My OBD reader lives in my Emira. I've had Evap, ABS Comms so far. Wiped once and did not come back. 👍🏼

For me, the emira is the best looking sports car in this price segment. Especially if you want to drive it every day. I mainly use my exige for the racetrack😃

I have the exige series 3 and I'll keep it over the emira. There aren't many cars like them, totally unique. Emira is a regression to a common gt car. No hate, but it doesn't really excel at anything.

Only makes sense to buy from an authorized dealer.... AG's booty from don't of those dealers retreat sell 3 it 4 brands... Night sure if there's "certified pre-owned" Ferrari dealers in TT UK or North America as they're 6 is for portable... I think you re asking for trouble buying privately.. They're no protection against getting a defective car

How is this legal. I cannot use a Cellphone while driving. However, I can have this Touch Screen Monstrosity in a Automobile. I would like to opt out of the Infotainment System all together. A Infotainment System = No Sale as far as I am concerned.

Absolutely stunning car in that color combo. My favorite enhancement is that rear spoiler, which is absolutely perfect. I'm not convinced it should be worth the price of 2+ Italias but hey, that's typical market valuation for something so "speciale". Thanks for the review.
