I noticed, in most media and shows, black women are portrayed to be the "whores." In Power Caridad (the college professor at Tariq's college) was hypersexual, in Scandal, Kerry's role was to be the mistress to the white president, etc. That's kind of why I stopped watching tv..

I have had a gang of immigrants start talking shit in front of me. I couldn't understand what they was saying. I thought to my self if black ever had to fight one of these groups.we are going to be in trouble. immigrants are getting jobs because they speak a different language.
We all are very aware of what occurred. We can't heal this land or hearts and minds by reliving a time many of us didn't have anything to do with. This does nothing but pulls scabs from old wounds. I personally am sick of hearing about things that happen over decades ago. We cannot unite when you continue to divide. I'm sorry that those times occurred here. But we have rose above it and we WERE moving forward United until the haters rose up to divide again. There are many who won't like this post, oh well!
The day of recompense will come, No amount of tears, money, begging, or asking for forgiveness will suffice for this decision by people who used our Bible to enslave and place us in captivity. The decree to repay those for the injustice served our people could only be declared by the God who said in many places that he would redeem and restore us. They walk among us today heads held high, looking down and still denying true justice. But deep in may heart I thank God because for the shame we endured God will dry our tears and we will over come the deep hate that we face daily.
