also, i realize this deviates from swe and from coffee a bit -- but id love to see maybe a typical day in the life (including like coffee, maybe a fit check?, work, gym, routine, etc.) with segments going over your diet / what you eat in a day or in a week with some cooking content / macro breakdowns if you're tracking that at the moment :) was also curious if you have a dream company / product you would want to work on or location you'd want to work in as a swe if you could choose anything anywhere? also not sure if its like too personal content-wise but would love a room / setup / living space tour! After I upgraded my gaggia classic pro to a gaggiuino, dialing in coffee got immensly more complex. This video reminds me of the good days when I didn't have 10 variables and 4 extraction phases to worry about. Luckily, I'm slowly learning about each variable and getting better each day.

such awesome gear and some great coffee i'm definitely a little jealous. but also just wanted to put this out there that working with modern coffee you could also try doing some high dose, high yield shots especially on such a stellar machine. Beans from a place like stereoscope might do better and give more of those fruity notes with a 1:3 up to a 1:5 ratio. You can even try experimenting with time, maybe go for that 25-30 but that's a baseline and maybe a 20 sec shot tastes delicious. Obv it's a different style but definitely something to try

great video dude, just don't put your sound on one channel like that again make sure to have it normally on both, makes the experience better.

Put ice in your carafe (might need a bigger one) and then make pourover, instead of making hot pour over and pouring it into ice. The first method tastes so much better because the volatile aromatics and flavors are preserved as soon as they hit the ice. If you make iced coffee, you want the hot coffee to cool as quickly as possible.
