How to I reset to factory. Bought the bike at an estate sale as is. No battery or key. I cant even find which model number any help would be appreciated.

I started with an ST2, almost everything was changed on the bike. Practically under warranty but how many times did I find myself on the side of the road pushing it (I took out breakdown insurance because it was so serious). How many days off or hours of recovery did I have to take because I didn't arrive on time. How many days did the bike stay at the dealer (we're talking about months over 3 years). In principle I do 10,000 km/year I sold the bike with 28,000 km, when it should have had nearly 40,000 km!!! I still had to take care of a lot of repairs (fork bearings, front wheel bearings, ...) Info from the salesman, I was unlucky, it was Monday's bike. I keep the faith and after 4 years on the ST2, I buy an ST3 Woe to me, even more problems. The bike had not yet left the showroom that the front light did not work properly, the brakes were mounted upside down (front for the rear and vice versa). Today the bike has 9000 Km over 2 years, I should have had nearly 18,000Km It has stayed at the dealership an incredible number of times for non-stop repairs. Still the majority under warranty, but with always the same drawbacks. At my expense fork bearings at 2000Km, broken spokes on the front wheel (then it was replaced under warranty), recently, front wheel bearings. The bike is not even 2 years old and I am spending more than 500€ out of my pocket in repairs that should be covered by STROMER The bike is not an entry-level bike, I bought it for almost 9000€ I can only advise anyone not to buy a STROMER, they all have problems. And as long as you are under warranty, you will only have to pay a small amount :) Regularly you have to replace the motor wheel (1500€), the front wheel, the brake set, the motherboard, the control console, the V-shaped headlight,...

I regret buying a Stromer ST - very much... Nothing but trouble all the way. So, if you consider to buy a Stromer - THINK again ! Sorry to say.

I come with my experience, first ST2 in 2018 bought at €6500, resold after 4 years 4 years = 4 years of problem, I will say what has not been changed: the frame, the saddle and the handlebars. Everything else has been changed, mostly under warranty (engine, front wheel, fork bearing, battery, motherboard, ...). Personal cost = not covered by warranty ~3000€ (without consumables), that's expensive per km Don't forget that every time there is a problem you are without a bike :( Several months out of 4 years in the garage :( Not finished, too stupid (I thought it was the Monday bike) I bought an ST3 Pinion in 2022 (it's not yet 2 years old today). The bike already has a problem in the store I came to pay for it: the front headlight flashes, the brakes are mounted upside down (left to right and vice versa). The motor, the OMNI, the torque sensor, the front wheel, the front headlight were changed under warranty. Not finished yet :( Last week the OMNI was changed, at the same time as a spoke (means that the new wheel still needs to be replaced), total loss of assistance (with a bike of + 30Kg good courage) and we add 3 more error codes (loss of all front lights). The torque sensor has been changed, the spoke replaced and the light problems are currently being looked for. The last one, today: total loss of assistance (again) Stromer has a serious problem, no more motherboard (so it hasn't been replaced yet on the ST3), no more torque sensor. Customers are waiting desperately to get their bike back, well damn me too :( I can't advise you to buy a Stromer or you leave it in the living room to look at it. Imagine that you still have it after the warranty!!!

I have two CR246.. both with a hardly visible LED. I know you know that there is a problem with the v1 because you made a version 2 of the CR246 with a visible LED. I am very disappointed in Stromer that you did not recall the v1 versions (is isn’t even lighting in a dark area…. 😡) please help me with my problem.. cost me almost €500.. it charges but I have to eyeball it to check if it is loading.. not happy…

love your bikes and own one they are the best however I cannot still understand why you sell a bike that can do 45kmh without a Front Fork with suspension. Ride every day and there are countless moments where lack of control due to bounce can put one in a tricky spot. Also depending how you ride it can hurt your wrists. As said I love my Stromer.

Is there software update for st1x to actually go to 45 or 49 km/h...they sell st bikes with promise to go 45 km/h, mine doesnt unless you peddle your heart out..have a brand new motor, from last Saturday...anyone knows?...

Nice bike, good marketing, but a lot of us would be better of with Faster charging for long trips (the bike now charges slower than it drives!) Cheaper bigger batteries with a longer lifespan (LFP?) Improved reliability and faster serviceability Further software improvements (a lot of data shows wrong, in serveral features). Why after so many years! and connectivity

The Bike being solely connected to the cellular network was not well thought out. I have an ST2 overseas where the cellular network is different and when the bike was in locked mode it froze and in order for it to work I need to ship it back to the states. Sad.

Can I get fix my bike which has issue with wire and shows code error ?

Does the STX 1 have an independent throttle or is it just power assisted pedalling?

I'am riding now more than 3 years with a wonderful Stromer ST3. Even after 3 years, sometimes is there an update for the omni and app with upgrades. Stromer updates and improve the apps with good improvements and user-friendly access. Stromer. 👍

This application no longer exists. This application is a piece of high level technological art. A piece of art that Stromer considered good to replace this with a newer application which is literally a piece of shit. Stromer is over for me.

This app is the first one and it was great. I'm very disappointed with the changes that Stromer made recently to the app. I did not expect such a nice application to change for the worse. Another case where a big company ruined such a good application. My criteria are not the result of personal aesthetic taste but purely technical details that have been removed. Battery statous : disappear. interface desplay for statistic changed to worst. diaplay of tuning. The two range-output cycles disappeared. Even the blue pixels in the form of an elliptical circle, in the word locked, are gone. wtf the app of a toothbrass seems to be better than the new app. of stromer.

A really rushed description of a very involved procedure. The narrator, just flies through a lot of button pushing without explaining what he's done in detail to reach the various plateaus of the setting procedure. You might learn from this by pausing the play time and again, taking notes and paying very close attention to what buttons are being pushed in each moment!

There is a reason the industry is moving away from hub motors. I have a Stromer. 1000 miles in and the motor burnt up. IF you live in the US - Stromer is hard to get ahold of and not eager to warranty these. Call your local dealer and ask how long the wait time is on a motor for one of these and you'll find they are on backorder, because they can't keep up with how fast they are burning up. Learn from my mistake, go with a mid drive, Bosch or Yamaha - Stromer is amateur.
