Thank you!!! This was dead on. I had no trouble with my repairs. I did have to get a 14mm thin wall magnetic plug remover. Thanks you for the video!! Don't even want to know what Nissan would have charged.
Hello, will this also cause a crank but no start problem ? Im thinking of buying a 17' malibu with the 2.5L engine, they said it only cranks and might be a timing issue, the engine is getting fuel they said
it can cause it not to start if the timing has jumped. Get it looked at first
The amount of people that don't know this only works for this particular type of radiator cap is surprising.
VW
Volkswagen? Not the answer.
😂😂😂😂😂
Am I the only one who thought that looked like a leg😂
easiest cat uninstall ever
The amount of people that DON’T know proper English grammar is astounding.
No it's not.
Nuh uh
… all the time you waste in a day, bro can’t wait for pressurized liquids to cool.
Holy non English speaking 3rd grader.
Don't do this my dad opened it up and the cap popped out and spray radiator fluid all over him and 3rd degree burns he got
You can open it while hot, you just absolutely should not unless the circumstance is very very special. Had a serious radiator problem where i was carrying 10 gallons in the back seat one time, would have to stop, open up the cap with a shirt and let the little bit that was pressurized spray into the shirt, then fill up, then drive 5 miles, then stop and repeat.
So like special events like weddings, birthdays, and high school reunions 😅
The amount of money we pay for cars these days why would we need to know that?
Some people appreciate the tip, others like you just trade their car every 2 years and stay broke... payments are a bitch and I'm glad to have none
Because everyone should know how to work on the car they own. You are dense
Yeah just dont... How bout that lesson... First
You’re an asshole if you do
Forbidden spaghetti
I'm glad I wasn't the only one immediately catching the tie rod
and you are also a noob
Then with the gloves 🧤 🤣 lord help these men
is this supposed to be impressive? Jw cause I’m confused
yes hater
U took off tie rod for a strut😂😂
The tie rod I could kind of understand, maybe helps with flexing a little bit. What I didn't understand was the axle nut....
i took off the tie rod in order to move the wheel freely noooooooooooobbbbbb
@@jacobwebb8818 to remove the cv axle? I just know none of the people in the comments work on cars lmaooo
@@kimbion so you remove the axle to pull a strut 😂 might as well pull the engine while you're at it for a ball joint
@@jacobwebb8818 you dont work on cars its obviously lil bro
Then theres ford that made my 11' taurus front strut an inch longer than it should be and so you gotta take the whole steering knuckle off and install it as one piece😂
Well that’s one way to change a quick strut.
This actually happens on N51/52/54/55 engines. The root cause is actually an oil leak from the oil filter housing that sits just above the belt. Best case scenario, your belt degrades. Worst case, the belt slips and gets caught up in the crank pulley and gets forced through the main seal. The engine literally tears itself apart after that. Im not gonna apologize for BMW stupidity here but a simple once over for leaks and weaping will save you thousands.
I thought that's just how the car keeps the belt lubed to make it last longer. What do I know, I just found out from a friend my red blinker fluid was low the other day.
Giusto per complicare la vita di tutti!!!😂😂😂
What are the symptoms on a bad water pump? my car revs are too high when its on park mode untill 3000 rpms ... that could be part of the problem?
no water pump wouldn't be the problem
Thats going to be an impossible mission to stop oil leaking from a bmw
You also said Mitsubishi wrong lol. They will never stop
Now thats gay
That's an old dry rotted belt. Oil helps break it down but I'm sure that belt hasn't been changed in years. 😅
BMW, they all the same lol
I started to use it so much I bought one 🤣🤣
All over the serpent belt🫨

Vortec 4.3
That’s gotta be cap
@@RighteousWeaponry lol I’m not a mechanic by trade but I have a 01’ sierra a 98’ jimmy and a 04’ envoy all three I do my own work on
@@gagemclaughlin8992 I see, I had an ‘00 blazer with the 4.3 and she was real good to me
@@RighteousWeaponry she’s a ride or die for sure. The only 4.3 I’ve ever had that was fubar was my 98 Silverado which my girl drove with basically no oil in it for almost a month while I was on a business trip out of state 🤦♂️
Is the 3.6 bad
Get a 3.2 instead
3.6 is definitely worse but the 3.2 still has the issue with the oil coolers leaking and mixing oil with coolant
The dodge 3.6 is junk
90's Chevy engine
I think there's a unsettling presence of atleast one glizzy in that engine....
You did this to yourself…
I designed the engine?
Dodge 3.6
Same engine
Noooo 😢
Does it need reprogramming

I had a shop want to charge $1400 for a Crown Vic water pump and thermostat! It took me a 55 minutes to r&r and 20 minutes to refill coolant and get the air out. Christian Brothers shop didn’t seem so Christian. $160 in OEM parts. Give me break.
Good words man
But that version of me is dead. Beaten and silenced by years of abuse and neglect. "Would you pity the devil if you knew what made him turn?"
So my Rx8 has an electric oil feeder, and electric power steering, electric AC. I can put an electric water pump on my Rx8 too😅
Thanks lol I thought we all were gonna sit here w belt drive
I forgot to put coolant in my radiator and cooked my thermostat. So 22$😭🤷🏽♂️
What about an internal water pump in fords? I'm doing mine now. It's ridiculous. I'm nervous I'm in over my head now
So far lol. Just a starter on a cummins, dont make the old one, updated new one, extra wire, i goofeed and put it where it wasnt supposed to go, FIRE. Removed and replaced with another one correctly, lost a starter and a fire extinguisher, which i now use to prank the parts guy.
