Definitely agree on the laser hair treatments. I'm just doing my face, neck, chest, stomach and arms, and it going to cost me around $4000. I plan on getting a rhinoplasty this summer. Luckily, i have a fairly feminine face to begin with and my nose is my most masculine feature. The surgery is going to also fix my deviated septum. I told my therapist today that I'm jealous of FtM, since outside of needing top surgery and possibly getting bottom surgery, HRT does all the heavy lifting. 😅

Damn, I consulted those prices in the place where I live, in France, and all of those procedures seem a bit cheaper than in the UK. My facial laser removal costs 120 euros per session (also 40 euros from it reimbursed by mandatory health insurance) Vaginoplasty is usually free of cost, but you need to wait 2-4 years in the waiting list (about twice as shorter for vulvopasty)

Trans people are very beautiful

Human beings are tribal which means conformist. There is not a lot of room for being different. That's part of evolution. Trans people are outliers. They are not part of the mainstream. Trans people represent less than 1% of the population. Cis people in relationships with trans people are also outliers, out of the mainstream. It's good when people on the extremes of the bell shaped curve can find each other but to expect people in the mainstream to to overcome tribal evolution to accept these situations with no reservations is not reasonable. Some people will be very accepting and some not accepting at all. The thing is to accept that is the reality and move along. Decrying the facts is a waste of time.

I wouldn't date with a trans women. We can say that we are modern enough now and stuff for that, but finding a mate is an ancient thing. Essentially we do dating to find a partner for reproduction. And it is still a priority for most men in a relationship. For me simply a woman who can't have babies is not as attractive as one who can. I think thats some kind of biological code in most of us.

I think if you're looking to date or marry a biological male, you have to bite the bullet and admit he either needs to be gay or bi. The idea that a straight, red-blooded man is going to feel real, physical attraction to a dude in a wig is pure fantasy. Now, if you're also angry that lesbian's won't date you, the so called, "cotton ceiling" again... it's pure fantasy that they would. You are a dude. Accept that and date the people who are cool with sucking on a "shenis."

Being a cis straight man, you don't need to "come out", you are just what society consider the "default", the statistically plausible, the orientation people assume you to be until you say otherwise. While it is not, a lot of people would consider being with a transwoman to be gay or at least... some kind of "twist" on being straight, a bit like the slight difference between being bi and being pansexual. So for a cis straight man, to date a trans woman can feel like "coming out", but coming out as what ? On paper, that would still be straight, in the end the only reason it would be "gay" would be based on other people transphobia, where they would consider it a relationship between 2 men. So there's this conflicting idea where as a cis straight man you do consider her a woman and you do not think it needs addressing, it does not need a "come out", but for the transphobes around... it would be a come out. In the end it's really just some cis men treating trans women as women while society still not being there or at least, societal pressure from other cis straight men.

Straight men dont want to date gay men dressed like woman. Some probably hook up with trans woman cause of fetish or are gay themself.

Opposite sex attraction, same sex attraction are real things. For most people long-term dating involves a physical attraction, and also plans for the future. For most hetero men this involves an attraction to the female form, and also a hope for children in the future. A trans woman usually does not meet these qualifications.

With all due respect the reason why Cisgendered men who don’t date trans women is because cisgendered men who date trans women are just gay men who just got out of the closet or who never knew they were gay.

Great video Malibu. It’s a shame there isn’t a nice term to describe such relationships. Technically they are homo-sexual because both partners are the same sex. But Heterogeneous because they are of different types. All this swishing things together to claim both TW & women are identical doesn’t help. I believe society should accept relationships with transwomen openly, without the need to hide or obfuscate who people really are.

In my opinion it's because they live in fear, fear of ostracization from their peers, fear of their family rejecting them. Getting rejected by those closest to you is traumatic, everyone's life is incredibly socially complex and certain people are not in a good situation to be open about this sort of thing. Another thing to note is a lot of men grow up surrounded by violence and bullying, survival and not being a victim is priority in a lot of men's lives sexuality doesn't come before survival for many.

You may think they are straight., but the vast majority of men think dating someone with a penis makes you gay. But then of course you think you are a women when the vast majority think you are a man in drag. I have seen plenty of trans you tubers calling the men who love to date trans girls "chasers". If you are Trans be proud of being trans and accept that just like you there are str8 acting men who like trans girls because they are different than biological girls

I think it's just common with cis people in general. I'm cis myself, but women will absolutely talk badly about peoples sexual preference. They however do not do it to other women's faces. They are very sneaky about it. All nice as can be and then the moment you are gone they will straight up tell me how weird person X is, or insert negative comment here. For me as a cis while I've never attempted to hook up with a trans woman. It absolutely is looked down on by not just other men, but their parents in most cases. They not only have extreme bias against it, they also don't like that they can't have grandchildren. I think it's almost less social friend groups while it does have some part in it, but the older family members who just won't accept it.
