Nahhh that was just a friendly battle. I would never do any harm to Masquerade. I gave him a sweet hug and I think he loved it, that might be why he keeps wanting to have a friendly duel over and over, even though already did it more than 999 times. :3 But I'm happy you're proud of me! c:

Hello! It's not a weapon camo! It's actually an Accessory that you get at Depth 3 Rank 10 as first clear reward. However, it has been leaked that on the 29th two new Depths will be added, and the first clear reward will be the Weapon camo (that surprisingly includes Gunblade!) and an Background for your Arks ID.

What I have done was switch the Attach Point of the Accessory to the right hand, adjusted the location and rotation of the Accessory, and then used the "* Weapon Stealthing" weapon camo (which hides your weapon). That way, you can make your own "custom" weapon if you wish! c:

@@orellanazurie2comer You don't have to farm to get the Accessory or the Weapon Camo (unless you mean the Invisible Weapon Camo, which then yes you have to farm Meseta to buy it in the Personal Shop). You get these items once you clear the Depth for the first time. There is no RNG tied to it. If you clear Depth 3 Rank 10 for the first time, you will get the Accessory (two copies of it so can be bound to the account). So all you have to do is progress through the quest and you'll get those rewards. The only reason to farm this quest as of now, is to farm the Duel Augments and maybe Aegis Integra if you're low in it. With all that said though, we don't know if the Masquerader's sword Weapon Camo will be given in Depth 5 or 6, but it's a First Clear reward of one of those two Depths, so that means you'll have a 100% chance to get it once you clear it! Hope that clears any confusion, but if you have any further questions I'll gladly answer them if I can! 💜

Yeah! This accessory somehow goes pretty well with Gunblade, strangely enough. Not complaining, though. :p

I 100% agree with you and hope so as well! Parries in this game is extremely powerful and honestly very forgiving too, and oftentimes with most classes even if you don't know the exact time to parry, you can just spam Weapon Action and most likely will dodge it. Since NGS release, I always wondered why they didn't take advantage of the new movement system to make boss fights where you ACTUALLY need to put into use your new free movement. They sort of did with Solus transition from phase 1 to phase 2 and Dalion but it could be explored way more imo. I think it would be interesting to have a different pattern in combat than we have (Parry Parry Parry Attack Parry Parry Parry...). Don't need to make the attack undodgeable, can make some of the attacks be able to be sidestepped but not parried (like with Masquerade's and Ikusa Bujin's grab), although that's also flawed since there is no clear indication that the attack is or isn't parriable. But attacks that requires you to run, jump and glide would make the combat change up a bit. Back in Dalion Rank 2, the attack where the puppet grows a second arm, I always thought that you need to switch position (go up and down) to dodge the second arm which honestly always felt really cool to do that, but in reality, what can't be dodged is the yellow vortex on the ground. Also, the fact that Masquerade can't cast his barrier like in base PSO2 makes the fight like 10 times easier, since back then you would need to learn other Photon Arts and Techniques (and guess what, counters would often get blocked by the barrier! no more parry spam free damage!) in order to fight him. NGS you just hit and parry till he dies lol but NGS has way fewer Photon Arts options than the base game so I understand but still... I guess we will have to wait and see how Masquerade will be on later Depths. So far the fight is fun but it could be way more if done right! I'd like to see some devastating combos!

Thank you! I always loved how Retem looks in storms, so the fight actually looks pretty nice in Retem! I also like taking some nice shots in fights when I have UI off. I didn't really do that much in this one, but you'll likely see more in future videos in fights where can relax a bit with the camera. :3

Yeah apparently! Honestly thought it would take a bit longer or at least the same time as my first clear with Slash. I did play way better than on the first try though so that helps too, but I think it's mainly because both bosses are close together so most of my attacks hits both of them, thus making it quicker to clear.

@SnoiceNeko Here's hoping Masquerade is at least fun. Angele is from PSO2. I never had the pleasure to fight it there, but the fight and especially its music in NGS made it quite the enjoyable battle.

@@Ethonra Yeah, Angele is pretty fun both in NGS and base PSO2, althought I really wished that Angelo (and Hyunal) still had their voice lines. Nothing better than Falz Angel calling you garbage mid fight! 🥰
