Wise words, I've been a dad for 23 years now. When I was 26 it hit me, I needed to set aside my personal desires and focus on the number #1 priority which is being a dad. Snowboarding, kayaking, snowmobiling, dirtbiking, it all took a back seat; because my ego needed to take a back seat. Serving self is self defeating, serving others is divine, and good for the mind. Being present is the best present. When the mind is right you can flow in the memories of all the pow turns. With that said my youngest kids are 14 and 11 and they're just started to shred. Mountain biking, skiing, etc. So now with patience it's time to turn it up again for me. By taking some time, I managed to keep my body in good shape without the big wipeouts from time to time. The hardest part of riding is not riding hard, it's so fun kicking into high gear. Enjoy being a dad, it's the best job in life. Kids want love and love is equal to time.

I found your videos last year and they're perfect. These are my favorite types of lines and backcountry vibes. The music is what makes it perfect, I started listening to chillstep/ambient to set the tune to my life about 15 years ago. It keeps life irie, hope you enjoy the pow 2025 pow season. Cheers!

The balance of being a dad, husband, working man, and a skier can be tough, but I would argue it is rewarding and worth it. Nothing beats being a dad and the love you feel from it. I think a lot of us dreamt about being professional skiers when we grew up and I don't think that dream should ever die within us. Find your unique way to be that professional skier. Take control of your ski career. I hope you enjoy this video.

That pillow line at 37:20 looks like the area just north of Wildwood at Tam? I've skied that a few times, but never with lucious powder conditions like that! You got the goods!
