Thank you for sharing! I enjoy listening to both of you.
Thank you so much for supporting our channel!
Amen I am sure this video is speaking to me and the Lord has led me to find you both to help me see that the hurt and anger I have been carrying as I told to you. Thank you ❤❤❤❤
Thank you Karen for encouraging us as we try to encourage others in Jesus’ name! I believe our Lord uses each of us to uplift each other as we travel through this life!
Ha ha we had cows named patches and muddy. My youngest son who is 36 now refused to eat steak etc as he was horrified it might be those cows. My husband asked my daughter (. Now 37. What she thought - her. Reply not worried I like meat. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great story about your children and patches and muddy! It is interesting how different people respond to the same situation. Thank you so much for responding and supporting our channel! Have a great week!
Such a great and relevant topic! And when I was a girl, we had something similar happen with a cow named Shorty. Bottle fed that adorable boy calf, played with him, and without me knowing it, Shorty was taken to the butcher! 😢
We must be related!!! Thanks for sharing and for supporting our channel!
Very good message. When we think of forgiveness we always think of Jesus, Simon the Pharisee, and the sinful woman in Luke 7. Thank God is he is so merciful!
Thank you for sharing a great example of forgiveness that is recorded in the Bible. Something I love about the conversations of Jesus that are recorded in Scripture is that His words made everyone think whether they agreed with Him or not. Thanks for encouraging us and supporting our channel!
A sweet but very sad story from 2 of my most favorite people. Forgiveness is never the problem for me, it's the betrayal and loss of trust that I find so hard to deal with, especially when it comes from the people that are closest to you and supposed to love you the most. I'm truly sorry that you had to go through that as a child Pastor Vince. It would have honestly broken my heart since I have to admit that animals have brought me far more joy that most people ever have. I am so grateful for the strength the Lord has given me to overcome so many things in this life and still have a heart of joy and forgiveness. May God continue to bless you both in every way possible!!!
Ann, thank you for your kind words of care for Sherry and myself. I agree with you, animals have always held a special place in my heart because they seem to love unconditionally. You are so correct to state that without the strength of God to practice and accept forgiveness we would be in deep trouble. Thanks for supporting our channel!
Thank you for such a wonderful message this Sunday!
Thank you for encouraging us with your kind words and support!
Thank yall so much .. this was good godly advice .. it’s a daily battle .. yall are a blessing❤️
Hi Vince and Sherry, You both look so nice. Thank you for this video. Friends in North Dakota live in a ranch, and named a cow Maybelline because of the cows long eyelashes. When it was a big enough cow, they slaughtered it and filled their freezer with Maybelline. So,I agree that farm life is different...I think I was grieving a bit over Maybelline. I felt sorry for you and your siblings...you're right though, that's just how it is.. For me,when someone isn't nice and apologizes, that's nice. But if they dont,I just figure that reflects them. And I lose trust in them a bit. I hope I would always be careful with people. Have a restful night. 🙂❤️
Thank you for your great insight on forgiveness! I agree with you, forgiveness or lack of it reflects on us and others. Thank you so much for supporting our channel!
Thank you for the trip down memory lane! We had cows usually one to milk and one to eat. When we got Bossy she was ready to calf, which she did. But she got milk fever and had to be put down. So we kept her calf for a milk cow, but her calf we named Sugar. Mind you we weren’t as attached to her. One evening we were having steak and said it sure was good. And my Dad said “Yeah, this Sugar sure is good!” As I said we weren’t as attached to Sugar. And since sugar is something commonly eaten it took a while to figure out.
Parents are the best! Thank you so much for encouraging us with your kind words!
Too funny. Our cousins had Henny and Penny, such cute little pigs. We go that summer for the week and eating breakfast one morning and they asked how the bacon was. I said it’s really good. They said yeah, Henny tastes pretty good huh. 😂. I appreciate the advice on forgiveness and when we think we’ve forgiven and the hurt or anger resurfaces.
Thank you for supporting our channel and encouraging us with your kind words! Forgiveness is so important to help us grow closer to the Lord and to each other.
Hello sherry & vince! Wonderful Wonderful message. Thank you. Thank you. Much love much love! ❤️👋❤️
Thank you for encouraging us with your words and watching our channel!
I really liked this video a lot. I like the picture you both choose at the beginning of each video. You two are so funny & good together 😊 I honestly cannot think of anyone I have unforgiveness toward. Any advice on a family member who is an alcoholic, bipolar and is estranged from the family? Let them?
Thank you for your very kind words of support. We must have the same family because we have family members just like you described. I try to be open to listen to them if they contact me and I always pray for them. I don’t think forgiveness includes becoming a victim over and over to people who hurt us.
Oh wow as the daughter of a dairy farmer what a story yes you are so right my father bless him was always conscious of us kids getting close to the cows because that was the livelihood yup forgiveness is pretty tough… my question would be what did your neighbours think of the calf 😮 great video
The neighborhood didn’t seem to mind, we kept Uncle Joe in the fence so he wasn’t a bother to anyone.
Such an excellent topic and one we all need to hear. Thank you for speaking on that topic and sharing a personal anecdote. How is your search for a new church coming along? ❤-Brenda
Hey Brenda, thanks for always encouraging us on our channel! We have visited several churches, still looking for the place we feel God wants us.
Great message Pastors Sherry & Vinc .Forgiveness is something we do during our life time here on earth i think.Such a timely and beautiful message .i learnt something new today from both of you about Mercy and Forgiveness...thank you for Sharing. Blessings to you both❤
Thank you for encouraging us with your kind words! Also, thank you for watching our channel!
Forgiveness is a big one! Too, I think we need to remember that forgiveness does not always mean reconciliation. Those are two different things. Those who have suffered abuse must forgive, but they may not ever reconcile with their abuser. Concerning justice vs. mercy, RC Sproul had a great story he used to tell about when he taught a freshman college class in Old Testament. There were four papers due during the course of the semester, and the rule was if you turned the paper in late, you got an F. When the first paper came due, a few students begged for more time, which he mercifully allowed. When the second paper came due, even more students asked for more time, which he mercifully allowed. By the time the third paper came due, and even more students missed the deadline, he put an F in the grade book for each student who did not have their paper. Of course the class was indignant and exclaimed "That's not FAIR!" To which RC began to go back through the grade book to record an F for the previous papers that had not been turned in on time. The students did not want justice, they wanted mercy! Mercy is by definition voluntary. God is not obligated, or owe us mercy. Our holy God is both just and merciful, but never unjust. The older I get, the more I realize how much my savior has mercifully forgiven me for, and what a marvelous savior He is! That really does help me to humbly forgive others.
Thank you for your great insight concerning forgiveness! I too am grateful for the mercy God shares with me everyday of my life! Thank you for supporting our channel!
That would have been so hard for you as a child, the way you talked Uncle Joe was your pet. But it is a great story to learn how we must forgive. I have heard people say that forgiving someone doesn’t mean that person was right in what they did to you, but we forgive to help us to move on. Nothing we do by being unforgiving will hurt the person the way we feel hurt, but God will deal with that person for what they did to us. Thank you for your videos Vince and Sherry!
Thank you for your thoughtful words and insight on this story. I have learned that nothing is more important than forgiving others. Thanks for supporting our channel!
I was just curious if you guy's correlate your colors for your outfits?😊 if so, I love that❤
We do that quite often, especially on Sundays. Thank you Connie!💜
Thank you for noticing, we try to match on Sundays and we shot this video after church and we just kept our “Church” clothes on!
@@VinceH-q8u That's wonderful!!
How did Uncle Joe feel😅😂 I would have been devasted. But the moral of your story has a lot to ponder, and a great illustration of forgiveness
I was crushed and felt betrayed by the people closest to me. It took a long time but I realized my hard feelings were only hurting me. Thank you so much for watching our channel!
Excellent. Thank you for teaching us prayers to say. Message idea. We stopped gift giving for Christmas; But it creeps in the veins of friends work clubs church classes. Advertisements.........
Thank you for watching our channel!
Oh my! What a story! 😮
Thank you for watching our channel!
I have won a few things over the years. In my opinion the best thing I won was a Bible. I have also won a swing set (I didn’t even realize it was a prize and didn’t have children yet. But the neighborhood kids sure did enjoy it!).
Thank you so much for following our channel and for sharing some of the items you have won!
Great video love your new hair Sherry ❤❤❤
Thank you for your positive comments and for following our channel!

You guys could be motivational speakers!! Love this channel so much❤ I can see you getting class cutest😊
You are so kind! Thanks for encouraging us on PastorLife!
Trust me, there is something wonderful about an award that can be shared by family members! Thank you for sharing your story and for supporting our channel!
Did you ever decide on a name?
What a great video this week!
Thank you for encouraging us! Please have a great week!
First of all, thank you both for always being such positive and encouraging folks! I try never to miss one of your videos. In 2017 I won the GOING THE EXTRA MILE - GEM- award from my place of employment. My peers/fellow employees voted for me to receive this award. I have never felt so loved, appreciated and surprised. I was truly humbled and honored. The award has engraved the following…”For maintaining the highest standards, looking after the smallest detail, and always going the extra mile for our employees”. I retired two years later and I count this award as one of my greatest blessings from God.
Thank you for your kind words to Sherry and myself. I think it would be a great honor to receive and award from your peers! Thanks for supporting our channel!
Hi again, You mentioned your church...were you able to find a church you like? 🙂❤️
Not yet, we are visiting different churches to make sure we are where the Lord wants us. If you can, please keep us in your prayers!
I just love watching you two. Youre just the cutest couple ❤ I was wondering what you named your bug? Hugs from Oklahoma ☺️
Thank you for your kind words! We haven’t settled on one name yet, but we are leaning towards Leonard, or Lynyrd.
Hello Pastor Vince & Sherry! You two are seriously the cutest and sweetest couple ever. It is a delight to watch you and how well you compliment and enjoy each other. You make marriage look really good. I may not have won much in the way of material things in this life but the day Jesus became my Savior I won all that I will ever need for all eternity. It really doesn't get any better than that. Thank you both for your encouraging and wise words and for these wonderful videos. God bless you for all that you do!
You are so kind to Sherry and myself. I have been blessed to marry a lady who is always encouraging me in my life. Sherry was raised to live by faith in Christ and that has been our greatest blessing! Yes, once we have Jesus we have all we need for here and forevermore! Thanks for supporting our channel!
Greetings! It's so nice to see an uplifting video today. I once won a contest from HGTV that included a recliner of my choice and a huge outdoor gas grill. It also included some things that I gave away because I had no need for them. It was ironic because I entered at the very last minute because someone talked me into it. I would love to hear a talk on brokenness, if that is something you feel comfortable discussing. Love and blessings ♥️🙏
Congratulations on winning some items from HGTV! Thank you for your suggestion to do a video on brokenness. We will certainly look at this topic because we all have experienced brokenness at different points in our lives. Thank you so much for watching and supporting our channel!
I love your videos. I haven't won much! One time at a Tupperware party I won most of the games. They were word games, and at that time I was good at them. Not so much anymore. I still have one of the prizes - a metal tray! Your story about your mom helping with an essay reminded me of a story about my sister; and another about my daughter. My sister had written a story for school. She asked our writer/editor dad to proofread it. He did more than that. He basically rewrote it. She came home from school after it was graded, and said "Dad, we got an A!" Similar story about my daughter. She had been sick a few days and when she went back to school she found out she needed to complete a scrapbook - one page per scene of Romeo and Juliet. It was due the next day, so I helped her! It was fun! Anyway - we got an A too!!
Could maybe you discuss forgiveness .. it is so very hard … it’s something we have to do or the Lord won’t hear my prayers ♥️♥️I go on with where I am in my life but deep down there’s a deep deep hurt
Thank you for your suggestion on speaking about forgiveness. My next video is on that very subject. Forgiveness is something we all need to deal with in our lives. Thank you for watching our channel!
My grandpa would get excited to hear his weekly radio show, that’s how I feel as I wait weekly to hear your tube stories. It leaves me with a happy heart. Thank you
You are sooo kind!
Thank you for this video Vince and Sherry, You both are so fun! Ok, first on my list is accepting Jesus in my heart. When I was in 6 th grade I was on a swim team. In one of the swim meets I was to swim the breast stroke. I did my best and came in last..but the folks in the stands clapped and cheered for me because I finished! I was so humbled and thrilled! I'll never forget that. I hope you have a pleasant evening. I was wondering where your nickname Larue came from. I think you mentioned you were called that in college. ❤️
Thank you so much for always having positive comments for Sherry and me. It is exciting to hear about your accomplishments and how people cheered you on while you swam! My college roommate called me Lerue my first week in college and it stuck!
I miss hearing these stories about your family. I miss you two a lot. Since you have been gone it feels like a death. It’s true 😢 but I know god has this. God is always a winner ❤️
Kathy, thank you for always having a kind word for Sherry and me! Please tell Ken I said hello!
I’ve won a few prizes when I was still working. One prize was a car vac…….😂 Re: questions for you to discuss: 1. What is an appropriate thing to say to the pastor after the worship service when he’s shaking hands with you as you leave? Should one say how much the sermon meant to them, or say something off topic like “How about that Chiefs game?” 2. Was Luke an apostle? 3. What criteria was used to determine the books included in the Bible? Thank you for this enjoyable video! I love it when you include personal anecdotes to help illustrate a concept or story. ❤-Brenda P. S. My husband was named Mr irresistible when he was a freshman in high school. After that, a friend of his nicknamed him The Prettiest Boy in School. He told our daughters this when they were growing up and to this day they like to bring it up and have a good laugh!
Thank you so much for your positive comments and ideas for new subjects to discuss for future videos. I would like to mention the topic of what to say to the pastor at the end of the service, it depends upon your pastor!!!! Stay tuned and say “hello” to your handsome husband!
Vince I would like to know your stand on the tithing of 10% or not tithing and just becoming a joyful giver? There’s lots and lots of push back on this topic because it was implemented in the Old Testament and when Jesus died on the cross it was finished as was the law. I’d be interested in what you think. Thanks, Ada
Hey Ada, I have always practiced 10% giving and giving to special offerings over and above. I feel you can’t out give God and money is just a tool not the treasure that we have to serve Christ. Thank you for supporting our channel!
Well I haven’t ever won anything much that was expensive but my memories of winning in sports is precious to me! My biggest win was accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior!
Amen!
You guys are so sweet and fun to watch! I won an apple pie contest among a group of older bakers. I was shocked and thrilled! Still a great memory for me. A possible future discussion topic might be regarding those who we will see in heaven. I grew up in a non church home. I believe my parents both grew up in the church but we never went together there. I sometimes fear I won’t see them when I go to heaven. Something you said here made me think about this. Thank you both! ❤
Thank you so much for responding to our video and send me your recipe for your apple pie! The idea of who is or isn’t in heaven is overwhelming for all of us. Remember, God is always for us and He loves us all. We can trust God with time and eternity!
Loved this video! You two put a smile on my face each day I watch you! I won a chili cook off about 7 years ago! 😊
Thanks for watching our videos and your kind words! Please send me your recipe for the award winning chili!
I won a Civitan Citizenship Award when I was a senior in high school and a trophy my junior year in Home Economics. A subject I would like to hear yall discuss is how to discuss a tragedy with non believers - like a school shooting or the recent devastation from Helene. I’ve had people ask me how a loving God would allow things like that to happen. I try to tell them evil will always exist until Christ returns and that God gives man free will and many choose evil over good, I just have trouble trying to explain that.
Yes, those types of questions always trip me up from non believers. I tried to talk with one of my sons in law who isn’t a believer and he kept throwing out comments that I just didn’t have a clue how to answer. Plus he said his grandma is a Christian and she’s extremely judgmental so he associates that with Christians. A lot of believers give Christianity a bad name.
Joy, you did a great job in explaining the will of God and the reality of evil. However, some things we have to accept by faith and certain people will never be happy with any answer we provide. Thanks for always having something kind to say!
Hi Vince and Sherry! My grandkids just left this afternoon to go home three states away. To cheer myself up and take my mind off, I hopped on UA-cam to get my weekly blessing from you two! Thank you so much for being so faithful! Recently, I was reminded of something I won as we were cleaning out my mom's house after she passed away. I had competed in a regional Miss America Preliminary Pageant when I was in college in the late seventies. I found the costume I had made for the talent portion of the contest. I sang a song from the musical "Oklahoma" and won the talent portion of the contest! I was fourth runner-up over all. Quite a memory to be reminded of all these years later!
My grandkids just left this afternoon, too! Flying from the south to their home in the northeast. Awful quiet around here now.
@@AnnieDiscepoli I will pray we both find the Lord's comfort in missing our grandkids! I am so thankful when I get to see them!
Thanks for watching and I’m glad we brought a positive memory from your past! In high school I won second place in a county wide debate. However, only two of us competed! Thanks for watching!
You are both so sweet and a bright spot to my day💕. I really appreciate your candor. Sherry I have thought about what it will be like in heaven without loved ones too🥲. It’s a hard one. Time to open my Create In Me A Heart Of Peace study book. ❤❤
I was a second team all league soccer player in high school. Vince, I would like you to discuss how you write devotions and walk through a passage with us. This really sparked my curiosity when you brought it up awhile back. Greatly appreciate you two and your channel!
I would love to share how I write my daily devotions! Thank you for a great idea!! Thanks for following our channel!
Sherry, that was a perfect impression of my son when I asked him anything when he was young. lol “🤷🏻♂️ idk “
Thank you so much for your positive comments and for following our channel!
Hi Vince and Sherry, I sure enjoyed this video. I can't think of anything I have won right off hand😊 Your hair cut looks pretty Sherry❤
Thank you for following our channel and for your kind words to my sweet wife!
