I didn't mention it in the video but I use diesel fuel in the barrel not traditional heating oil. It's easier to get for me and does a great job. You can also use kerosene if you wish or a mixture of...

If you helped "one" person? Dude you rocked it
What the hell this product is now sold for $100!? :’( any suggestion for an alternative I see AMES has one for $50
YOU ARE THE BEST! Thank you so much for helping me determine the cause of my stoves failure without hiring a professional. It was a bad airflow switch. God Bless!
Wow. People are scumbags huh? $50 used. Do not defend scumbags.
Good thinking. Pellet stove parts are way over priced.
So what do I use for a jumper?
THANK. YOU
BLACK + DECKER B/DTLD100 TLD100 Thermal Leak Detector
The vacuum switch is normally open or normally closed?
What tool is this one!? Specifically!
Good idea, thanks
I put a handful of pellets in before I light it up cut some time as well
Thanks bud
What did you use to bridge the 2 wires
Fellow Pensylvanian and the snow is falling in North Central PA. Thank you for saving me time and $ by sharing what you earned.
Just found this as I'm trying to find out how to locate where the air is leaking into my home. Sadly this is 6 years old and they no longer make this model. At least I know what tool I need. Thanks so much.
Thanks for your help I fix my sweets like that
Wish you were my dad.
Cześć. Potrzebuje pomocy. W piecu nie włącza się wentylator gorącego powietrza. Pracuje tylko na wolbym biegu. Co może być przyczyną? Czujnik temperatury przy wiatraku? Jest taki?
For the runner lengths you could have saved time and money by using smaller chains for the runners and just threading them through the larger links
An easier way to determine the length of the main chain would be to measure across the tire where you want the chines to ride, then multiply by pi (3.14). This will give you the length. Then figure in any couplers you may use. Its just a lot handier and quicker than trying to lay chain on the tire especially if it is mounted to the vehicle. Easy.

Yeah, buying that tool or a similar one might pay for itself in one season.
My 6041tp used I check back and it dump more fuel and the aulger stop spinning and heard a big bang from it. Well it was my dad's idea.
Appreciate the video. Getting ready to install a pellet stove in my home and I thought the 2 inch kit was way overpriced for what you get. Thank you for the information.

Excellent video…thankyou
Greetings from Finland! Thanks for the excellent video.
Did replacing it work?
I added a fresh air intake to my Harmon Accentra pellet stove this year and went from 1 40lbs bag per 24 hour, to the same bag lasting about 30. My 1000sq ft house stays 75 degrees even when it was in the 20's this year.
Thank you!
Air intake (OAK) or not!!? Am looking for answers. Getting conflicting info. I have a pellet stove in finished bsmt. Got it with house purchase. First winter. Damp air in this region. Common problem with cold floor drafts. Dealer says no to outside air intake because damp air will cause problems. I cant see much info that supports the damp air issue. Anyone? Have an HRV as well. I run it now and then. Elec costs here are outrageous. Dont want to run that 24/7 to keep fresh air just for stove. Frustrating problem! Oak kit or not? Then need a way to "dry" the air before it gets to stove if what dealer says is right. . Some moisture absorbing bucket or ??? Grasping here!
What do you mean about opening holes in the firebox? That looks like the same stuff I have, The Summer's heat
how do I clean out the pipe?
...We did the same thing to the stove in my shop that had a lazy flame and lit up very slow....PLUS... Later we thoroughly cleaned the combustion fan and it's chamber and inner air flow channels and that made a huge difference...It's an older unit and the fan is difficult to remove.....We still can't get a lot of heat out of it, but it improved a lot having a much more 'energetic' flame....
I had a flash from behind my stove last night and now my stove has no power
I unplugged my stove and I think I damaged the electrical board
I hate pellet stoves, way too complicated. I’ve got one for another house I own and it’s high maintenance.
The brain box in my 20 year old Quadrafire fried. I wound up wiring the blowers and auger to a power strip with a dimmer switch on the auger. Not the safest set up but it runs! No, I don't leave the house with it running like this.
I couldn't here you through all the noice
Thanks for the video. I watched it about a week ago and did what you said. Burning much better ever since
Remember there's volume air flow and the is forced flow, you want your air coming through at a fast flow , I have an older one pdv25, I notice when I cover part of the burn pot at the top it actually improves flow and it concentrated the air on the pellets.
I should have taken your advice. I drilled my holes slightly larger as in the video, now it won't hardly burn at all. Wish I didn't fool with it because I can't find another burn pot for my Jamestown stove.
@@johnladouceur9939 try covering some of the holes with flat piece of metal
Look at my video on my channel and see what i did. If subscribe just ask me a question and I'll show what to do.
@@globalpioneer5076 I was thinking of doing that.or welding some closed. I have a mig welder. Which ones you think I should do the bottom holes or the side?
@@johnladouceur9939 if I could see you what you done it would give me a beet idea what you done. Does yours have a ash pan under it that you pull out?
Thank you. I was able to fix my stove thanks to your video
Great video, thanks for taking the time to help
My stove when I turn it on it works for myb 45 minutes and turns off, then after 5 minutes turns back on Anyone have that problem?
I have not heard on pellet stove progress. You could have a clogged exhaust hose orca failed oressure switch. This video shows how to troubleshoot.
Liked and subscribed. Gonna try this. My pellet stove is just running the ignitor light and not responding to any buttons. I have to unplug it to turn it off, it just hums.
Facts my auger motor when of course was cold.🤪😜😃 good video 10+....👊
