why do you have to keep the filet attached to the carcass on the cabezon and not the rock fish?

I've been there various times i live in Mn, agree with you, beach, shops, and eating locations. There are days when you have the marine layer.

Beautiful Morro Bay! I plan to visit my daughter in SLO for a few days. I watched lots of your videos, inshore fishing also in my bucket list. Is the dock allowed fishing? (of course with fishing license)

Hey there Jim. Absolutely can’t get enough of your videos! I grew up in Lompoc and mom would take me to Moro all the time. I was there last year and did very well poke polling on the jetties. Made a pole with a 12’ piece of bamboo. Tons more reach, and you don’t have to bend as much

How did you get to the South Jetty? Kayak across? To walk is like 4 miles one way according to the map. If I can't catch my own smelt are there any tackle shops in Morro Bay where I could buy them?

Both my kids worked on the embarcadero. One at The Dutchman, one at Hofbrau.

Raised my kids in Los Osos, then moved to MB up by the golf course on the side of Black Hill. Retired and left 12/31/17. We miss it every day.

The only complaint I have is you taking the shrimp to go. I would have consumed them in the restaurant, or right outside. Anything fried starts deteriorating as time passes. Otherwise a helpful video. Almost always go to Dockside when I'm in Morro Bay.

My mom, sister and I used to go to Morro Bay every summer when I was growing up. It was definitely our happy place! So many great memories! I always used to go into the creepy aquarium. LOL. I'm sure it's changed a lot since I've seen it.

You hooked me - next trip to Morro Bay I'm trying Tognazzini's. Those look more like real fish shop shrimp.

As a local I don't know why you are making these video's. The more you do this the more tourists you attract. Our poor town is being trashed.

It has held on to its charm, even the towns next to it. Jim, are you at all concerned with the giant windmills that are planned for Morro Bay? This state has its way of progressively taking things away from us.
