pops... ya know technically "pops" in the exhaust and that crackle you hear is actually a sign of a poorly tuned engine. it sounds like shit when you know whats going on. a properly tuned engine does not have that aggressive popping, less is better pronounced but subtle. question is how do you get more sound out of the turbos? I know its an odd idea but are simple things to hear them turbos express themselves more or maybe adding a blow off valve or tuning?

I've used 87 for years with no problems

I live in NJ, I drive the 2020 BMW 330i xdrive and I only use 89 octane gas for long trip from NJ to Virginia, or from Charleston SC back to NJ home, but I will switch back to Premium Gasoline at middle of road from Charleston SC to NJ

You can just press the sport mode button and the vehicle does it for you. No need to unplug or cheat the system. Feature is already equipped bro!

My suggestion to you is to learn how to do some of these things for yourself.

For the new people with Bmw here, The problem its not the range, The real problem its regular gas will mess your catalic converter faster,

If you pull the fuse or unplug the connecter from the exhaust will it get a check engine code? Or any type of malfunction on the display

I switched to electric 5 years ago. 3 electric cars later I took delivery of my 2023 iX 50 and it requires premium electricity to run. 😂
