I always took Battle Network as a warning to not have _everything_ connected to the internet also i didnt realize the thumbnail says 1978, my brain corrected it to 1987...

We’ve been in 20XX since 2000 based on some interpretations of what it means. Other interpretations means we are no where close and then others think it’s 2020. Could be any year from 2000-2099, 2020, or 201010

hey, i hate to be this kinda guy, but i think you accidentally used the year "1978" instead of "1987" regarding Mega Man (game)'s release date on the video thumbnail. Mega Man 1 didn't release until December 1987, and the NES, or at least the Famicom wasn't released until 1983(?). Sorry to be a bother, just thought i'd mention it

Both the Classic Series and Battle Network have something that doesn’t even remotely exist in our world. The Dr. Light in Megaman X is an upload, as is Hub in Battle Network.

Whos to say starforce isnt real? People say the word alien and they think either greys or little green men. What if the aliens are metaphysical and we cant even percieve them? Starforce takes an interesting look at that idea.

Honestly loved this style of vid, especially in response to Battle Network timeline, and I eould love more on that (favorite duo in series had to be Baryl and Colonel.Exe). I also wasn’t too happy about Starforce, but if you do an immersive comparison to irl or something of the sort like this for that series, I'd like the idea to help me get around to accepting and checking out Starforce

Who tf says Hillians? It's canonically been Highlians since at least the mid 90s.

It gets far more disastrous during the Megaman X timeline & Megaman Zero's timeline, especially during the Elf Wars, where 60% of humanity was wiped out. After the Megaman Zero quadrilogy, it's a 200-year period of world peace which leads to the Megaman ZX series which leads eventually to Megaman Legends which is set an estimated 6,000 years after the first Megaman game.

I didn't realize how awesome megaman Battle Network retroactively is now

I personally believed in the ss timeline, and I still think it's a possibility, but the new master works book really enforces the idea that the totk past was in between SS and MC

Way too underrated

A split off of Skyward Sword doesn’t work. The time travel for the fight against Demise is definitely a dragonbreak from the Elder Scrolls games. A dragonbreak is a phenomenon where time breaks, splitting into many different timelines, but time fixes itself into one timeline, making all of the outcomes of the splits truth, yet contradictory.

i tried to figure out the timeline awhile ago & i figured totk was after sksw, but before everything else. hylians could have very well stayed on skyloft, and without the goddess' light likely keeping them looking 'hylian' couldve gained traits more suited to where they are. the civilization they make on the earth isnt necessarily a kingdom then, and i dont think theyd have enough people to make it one. as for the occa & minish, my thought was that they were at a lower elevation, unaffected by the replacement of the cloud barrier after early totk. the idea that occa came from loftwings and evolved into cuccos is an interesting one!

the way you pronounce "Hylia" and "Hylians" so wrong is incredibly agitating. but other than that, good video

My thought is TOTK lore is actually BEFORE skyward sword. Imprisoning Demize, creating the mining robots, etc. There's still quite a bit of unexplored timeliness before Skyward Sword.

To be fair, they also forgot their own gods….twice. First, they forgot about Hylia and solely worshiped the Golden Goddesses. Now, they do remember Hylia, yet no longer remember the Triforce and we see no evidence of them serving the Golden Goddesses (the Royal Family might remember, given Zelda mentions the ancient gods).

I mean no harm…but “HILL-ee-uns?” Isn’t it pretty apparent at this point that it’s “HIGH-lee-uns?” No? Am I missing something? The Goddess, “HIGH-lee-uh?” And “HIGH-rule?” Again, I mean no harm, but this seems obvious.

I'm really REALLY glad that you emphasized that not all Zeldas are Hylia's reincarnation. That is always something that annoys the snot out of me when people discuss lore! As for how the Spirit of the Hero arises, I personally believe that the spirit reincarnates a la ATLA style, where once one Link dies, the next one reincarnates. The difference between The Avatar and The Hero is that there's not always divine shenanigans going on so a Link in a mundane era wouldn't even need to awaken. TL;DR - I think that Link reincarnates every generation, but he doesn't always need to do some divine smiting. A Link in a mundane era will still have the divine spirit, but he'll just be living a divine-smiting-against-evil free life.

Just saw this video, and I had to comment on the overly creative intro: it was based on the Shrek movies, and just fit so well. Made me think about how Link and Zelda would fit in the Shrek universe, or the other way around. xD Very well done, especially considering this is one of your first videos!

Man I loved the endgame of Pokemon Emerald and Plat. I had so much fun as a kid, it was only when they stopped adding that type of content that stopped me from buying the Switch and the modern games.

This is my go-to gamemmode for passing time while on the train^^ I do prefer the doubles battle though, especially since you are not that easily stone walled by a single mon, e.g. a Blissey. And nothing feels more satisfying than earthquaking the enemy into submission while your second pokemon is a flying type : D There is just one catch when playing doubles. Explosion wrecks you even more -_-

I used to do nothing but Battle Factory because I didn't want to train enough good Pokemon for the other frontier pass stuff

Pro tip: Body Slam deals extra damage when the enemy is minimized and has a good chance to paralyze A few other moves do extra damage to them as well
