Sorry, but you need to understand some songs are written for meaning and not vocal gymnastics. I’m sure you have great voices, I genuinely mean that, but often simplicity and purity have greater meaning and carry emotion far more effectively.

Not bashing him in the least, he is talented, but not for me. But the idea of him being a guitar genius is a bit much. The guitar has evolved... From 5 strings to 10. Alternative tunings have been around for generations. I can appreciate the minimalist aspect but the band, The Presidents of the United States of America have a total of 5 strings in a 3 piece band. Collier did not reinvent the wheel.

Open tuning does not make “Crazy Guitar Skills”, he is obviously talented but the Guitar is not his Forte.

It’s easier to cop something than it is to make a parody.. and parody’s are rewriting someone else’s work… This guy is fine, but he gets way more push and credit than he deserves. Open your eyes wider than the radio and maybe you’ll find some finer musicians too.

He's a musical genius, but I always feel like his singing is 3 ranks weaker in comparison to his instrumental skills. If he had the voice and the range of Ed Sheeran or Bruno Mars, that'd be insane...
